Pyramid Holistic Wellness Center

Had a hot stone massage from Lisa and absolutely loved it. It was so incredibly relaxing and she was very accommodating. We had a little chat first where she asked me if there were any specific areas I would like for her to work on (I did: my neck and upper back area), and then told me what she’d be doing and telling me to undress to whatever I felt comfortable (after she left the room of course). The music was very soothing and relaxing and the essential oils were not too strong, but perfect.
The massage was two hours long and it was the best massage I have ever had. I told her that I would like a mix of deep tissue and Swedish and she did just that.
I felt amazing afterword!

Awesome wellness center, amazing staff and lots of fun things to buy in their retail shop! Crystals, jewelry, incense… you name it. The center has something for everyone. Yoga, massage, reiki, fitness classes, seminars, tarot readings… too many to list. And what would a wellness center be without a salt cave? Meditate, relax, unwind. Soothing music, perfect ambient temperature and lighting, all while disappearing into the zero gravity chairs and snuggled under wooly throws. You won’t be disappointed.

The store has many unique wellness books, gems, CDs, lotion and modalities. Natural! The salt rooms are neat and the staff very friendly. I had an excellent massage from John. I highly recommend stopping in here if you are the earthy type and like a hometown health store. Visit the co-​op also!

I’ve been a few times to some of Pyramid’s yoga classes (though not since the winter, as I’ve been away at college.) Now that I’m back in the area for at least a while, I plan to go more often– the staff has always been friendly and helpful, the classes are laidback, the teachers I’ve had are accommodating and friendly, and the studio has such great light. My only complaint is that there isn’t a wider variety of classes, or more challenging classes. I am excited to see that an anusara-​inspired class has been added on Saturday mornings (and Pyramid is in the perfect location to head down to the farmer’s market afterwards!)
I also recently experienced the salt cave for the first time, and while it didn’t have any immediate effect on my health or feeling of well-​being, it was a really relaxing hour. (And my sinuses cleared up while I was in there, which was a welcome relief during allergy season.)
All in all, I’ve always found Pyramid to be very friendly and welcoming, and I thank them for offering the most yoga classes per week in the Rutland area (and at an incredibly affordable price!)

I can’t believe no one’s reviewed this place. Pyramid Holistic Wellness Center has one of Rutland’s coolest attractions: a Himalayan Salt Cave.
I was feeling a bit under the weather and headed here a couple of weeks ago to sit for an hour in their cave in an attempt to destress and get out of the house. The claim is that by sitting in their cave, which is entirely made out of Himalayan salt, you can reap any number of health benefits. It’s about as out there as alternative medicine gets, but I thought it was a fun experience. More than anything, I considered it an hour that I would get to sit in an antigravity chair and not have to think about anything.
With those expectations, I was completely satisfied. I really enjoyed the hour I spent there and found the staff both friendly and accomodating.
