History

Established in 2015.

John Christopher Salon opened its doors in October 2015, The Owners are Joe Ballantoni who grew up in Rye and who’s mother Sylvana was a Hairdesigner and Carlos Avalos a master Hair Designer and colorist. Both have a passion for design. The Salon was a «labor of love» Joe likes the wood and classic design; Carlos likes shine and metal, but both are fans of adding texture. They came up with the name in a very creative way. Joe’s middle name is Christopher and, Carlo’s first name is Juan (John), and thats how John Christopher Salon was born.
