Pest Management of Texas, Inc.

Very unhappy with this company. They came out in March, sprayed inside our house but couldn’t outside due to weather. Now 2 months later we still haven’t had the outside sprayed, I have called and left messages but haven’t heard back from them. I prepaid for a yearly service by check (my mistake) and am hoping to get my money back. Will update when (if?) I ever hear back from them.

I was very disappointed with services from Texas pest management. I called to get services for nasty water bugs out of our new house we moved into. The guy came out, sprayed and said I might see them in a couple days, but after that they should’ve come back. A week went by so I called again. They reluctantly said they would come back by and spray again. Same guy came and sprayed in the one cabinet that I saw one in. A week went by and I was STILL seeing them. My husband called and said he wanted a refund because they clearly weren’t spraying good enough. They said they would call us back once their manager came in. I called Arrow pest services and they came out and did a GREAT job and didn’t see any after. In fact I haven’t seen any since then. Texas pest management then had the nerve to call me months later asking if I was ready to schedule my next spray. Ha. No. Never ever again. Oh not to mention whenever we asked about our refund they said they tried to call us and our phones were disconnected. Lol nice try. I’ve had the same phone for 4 years now. Horrible company.
To top all of this off, on their Facebook page you used to be able to rate them. They removed it after I posted this review. Shady shady company.

I flagged down a service tech in front of my home. Pete was a older gentleman and I asked about service. He stated the 1 time indoor/​outdoor service and handed me a card. I called the gentleman on the phone, we made a appointment (no sales pitch). I requested Pete. He came out provided service. my wife liked him and felt safe. Pete never tried to upsell us, but he did mention the yearly plan. I will decide on the yearly plan.
Ask for Pete (the old man) I recommend this company.

Very pushy this company is!!! I work outside the home as does my husband and we also have 3 children. Our schedules simply do not allow for us to be home a lot of the time. When we refused calls and told them to stop calling and that we would call for a re-​treatment because they FAILED to take care of it the first time, they then sent letters to our home and continued the calling.
We have tried telling them that we will call when we both have our schedules set and can be home for a treatment. When this failed to get them off our backs, they actually sent a technician to our house unscheduled and he informed my husband that because we failed to schedule an appointment, he was sent to do the job unscheduled. What the heck?! That is so pushy and rude I can’t even explain how angry that makes me. Lucky my husband happened to be home from work that day.
If someone hadn’t provided this service for us because of our finances being so tight, I would never ever have chosen this company for myself. Not only do they not eliminate the problem (i.e. bugs), but they push and push. And the voicemails they leave are so incredibly rude. People, we have a life and it doesn’t revolve around you.

This is the worst pest company! I initially called them for a one time spray the summer of 2010. The tech who came to the house tried to upsell me on a yearly contract that would include spraying the trees in my yard or I could pay an extra to have my trees sprayed. I told him I only wanted the house sprayed for the price originally quoted when I made the appointment.
Three weeks later I still had bugs everywhere in my house. They guarantee their work for 90 days, so I called them to come back and respray. The lady who answered the phone was really nice, but the tech who came to my house was incredibly nasty. He wanted to know what one room he needed to respray. I told him there were bugs everywhere in the house and there was no room that was worse than the others. He threw a fit and said they are not in the business of spraying customer’s houses every month for free. I reminded him that they had sprayed 3 weeks ago and there is supposed to be a 90 day guarantee. I finally told him to do whatever he wanted and I would never use their company again.
I called the company and asked if the person who came to my house was an owner. The customer service lady said no, but he was one of the managers. I proceeded to explain my horrible experience. She apologized profusely, but I told her I would never use their company again and was really shocked I dealt with one of their managers. She said she understood.
Two months later, I start getting at least 2 phone calls a day from them to schedule a treatment. I tried ignoring them, but the frequency of the calls increased. I finally answered the phone and told them to stop calling. I will never use them again. The lady apologized and said she’d make a note in my file.
They have continued to call me every 6 months, and harass me until I answer the phone and remind them I will never use their service.
They called again 2 days ago. Once again I asked why they kept calling me, reminded the girl of the multiple times I’ve told them I will never use their service and told her I don’t even live in Texas anymore. She said she’d make a note in my file. Yeah… that’s what they tell me every single time.

Great Pest company!
I do the yearly plan with them and they come out once a quarter. If you need service between the quarters they will come out for free and do a treatment. The customer service team and techs are top notch. The best part is they call me to remind me that I need to schedule my quarterly treatment! awesome!
