Bad experienced… Make an appointment with them and they was late. Waited an hour for then to arrived. Got a groupon deal for installing brakes. Installation is good. Before they install my brakes they mention about my axle. My axle was perfectly fine. When they finished install my brake I notice my car swift to the left when I drive afterwards… Hell no I’m not bringing my car back there for them to fix!

Spoken to Kyle who was very sweet amd polite. .came here for breaks amd tires. .everyone in shop seems fiber pleasant to deal with and the customers coking in and out all seemed pleased w their services

After I read the comments on Unilocal I decided to come to this place. According to their schedule they open Monday through Saturday but, when I got there on Monday it was closed. I left 2 voice messages to make an appointment but they never called me back. When I called on Tuesday they said they had a space available on Friday at 10 AM.
I went on Friday and the place was closed again, they had left a note saying they had closed due to a power outage however, at that time I was there, all the businesses had electricity. They didn’t have the courtesy to call me and let me know they were closing. I drove 40 minutes to get there and I did it twice thanks to the misinformation.
After I called to their numbers again someone answered and told me to come back anytime tomorrow because they were not going to open again that day.
I won’t come back. I don’t think this is a serious business and I also left a complaint with Groupon.

Used a discount deal, and still got top quality service and even a lifetime guarantee on replacement brake pads for the same price. As a woman it was a comfortable interaction and the owner was friendly and made me feel at ease with the service.

TO ALL THE WOMAN OUT THERE THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!! When I come here and start to discribe what’s wrong with my car or what sound its making they are able to decipher what Im saying. They are honest, caring, reasonable, friendly, informative, and understanding. Very happy with them, and I wont take my car to any other place!

I bought a groupon for front and rear brake pads and a tire rotation. This place is awesome! Great pricing and service. They have deals going on at the shop all the time just give them a call. I will be a regular customer ! I feel they were honest with me (as a woman that knows nothing about cars) that is very important. I was quoted at another shop $ 400 for just the front brakes!!! Yes, I paid $ 79 with my groupon and an additional $ 117 for my type of car Jeep sport 4×4. So… Yes, I will be back! Thank you 2k.

Extremely glad that I found this place. Took my girlfriend’s car here to get the brakes done on a Saturday. Super short notice, Kyle got me an appointment within the hour and had me back on the road in less than 2 hours for about $ 100 cheaper than any other quotes I got. I’m taking in my BMW today to have some work done and so far the process has been just as smooth. Great customer service and quality work.

I took my car to them to replace my brake pads. When I dropped off my car I told the gentlemen that I wasn’t sure if I needed brakes or not. But that my car was squeaking. I had my dog and my son out side waiting so I asked if the man would give me a call and let me know the damage. He called me back about 20 min. Later telling me that my car was absolutely great that they needed nothing. I’m so happy that these guys didn’t rip me off when I feel if they wanted to they could of. I appreciate there honesty. Found this place from groupon and had to jump on it! I usually only take my car to pep boys but I found a home for my car to get taken care of. The guys are so helpful, honest and nice. Kyle, the owner is very personable and honest which is hard to find at a car shop when you’re a girl by yourself. Love that they have a big flat screen tv with Netflix too!

I took my Mazdaspeed 3 in for 60k service and new suspension. They recommended Raceland coilovers. I also ordered new brakes and slotted/​drilled rotors.
When I came back to test drive the car Keith claimed that it was tight — no rub — even though he had dropped it lower than I asked him to. I rubbed in the first corner and in every corner after that. I dropped it back off to complete the service and told Keith that it was too low. When I picked it back up he hadn’t raised it at all and made excuses about why he wasn’t going to. Raceland has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee and I told Kyle that I was not satisfied and wanted to take advantage of that guarantee. He told me that they would, indeed, make me happy. The 30 days came and went and nothing was done on their part to contact Raceland and return the coilovers.
The rotors and brake pads that they ordered were wrong and I had to return them.
I inquired about the FoMoCo platinum plugs that were on the receipt and Keith said they were OEM replacement. They are — for the NON-​Turbo charged Mazda 3, but NOT for the turbo charged Mazdaspeed 3 — which is what I have. It comes stock with iridium plugs.
I decided to replace the plugs and the suspension, which rubbed and slammed completely over bumps, myself. The plugs: They weren’t even FoMoCo platinums. They were the original iridiums that come stock. Keith didn’t even install the wrong plugs that he charged me for. The suspension: there weren’t even any bump stops installed on the front, which is why it slammed so bad over bumps, and which could have caused damage to my vehicle.
So, in conclusion; I paid for work and items that wasn’t done or installed, they ordered the wrong rotors, some stock items that were removed from my car were not returned (cost me more than $ 60 to replace them), and the work that was done was shoddy and incorrect. When Keith was confronted about his work he took no responsibility and walked away. I was not reimbursed one penny.

I came to 2k performance at 10AM to get my car checked out. Total for maintenance on my car? A whopping $ 1500. It’s probably because I’m a girl and I don’t «know much about cars». Me being the dummy I am, felt guilty for having the shop examine my car so I decided to just get SOME work on it. They took about ~2 hours to get my car examined then another ~2 ½ hours to actually get my car’s front brakes and rear shoe replaced. I spent $ 266 on something I could have done at home for less than a $ 100. I wasn’t given the 10% off for the check-​in, but Kyle said I would be able to get the 10% on my next visit, which is very unlikely of me to even come back. I felt like I needed to support the local business around here. so ehh. I guess it was my mistake for doing that.
4 ½ hours waiting for my car. That’s a little excessive. I mean, you guys could have just given me an estimated time or let me know it’d be awhile.
Overall, yes, they were very detailed and knowledgeable with my car defects. They were nice, got the job done, it just took a LONGGGGGGGGGGG time & I felt like I was being charged extra for labor.
BTW I wish I had some of the treatment these other Unilocalers did. Free oil change. Shit, sign me up. I was charged $ 34 just for the damn oil.

This place has excellent customer service. Both of the owners are very knowledgeable and know what it takes to keep customers coming back. Bought the 89 $ groupon and took in our old Subaru decided not to do bake pads because we are getting rid of vehicle and didn’t want to throw any more money into it. Kyle did the oil change for free and left the groupon credit still valid. He also took time to tell us where the mystery smoke and oil leak was coming from — that the other 3 places we had work on the car seem to miss.
This past weekend we took in our new yaris for oil change and brake pads. Kyle was not in, but Keith took care of us just the same. He got our car in even though he was alone and overbooked and did a great job. The guys are very kind and would highly recommend to others

$ 88.82 (and that includes the cost of the groupon) OUT THE DOOR FOR NEW FRONT BRAKES ON MY 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA ! Groupon was $ 49 (Buy it in store, if your like me and you don’t plan ahead and like to buy groupons the same day you use them. lol) If you buy it online, you have to wait 24hrs for the company to receive the groupon. So $ 49 in store plus an extra cost for Ceramic brake pads.
Customer service was Excellent, I went in this morning and I Was out within an hour!
1 hour before going in, I was at the dealership getting an oil change and they noticed I needed new front brakes, their quote was $ 303 out the door!!! Holy crap I said, and went online to groupon and found these guys! Boy was I relieved. They were very straight forward on the phone to what it would cost! Very impressed!

I bought a Groupon deal with them $ 99 for both front and back brakes in addition to a oil change. I thought there had to be a catch because it was so cheap. There is no catch
The customer service is great, very friendly. I was treated very well. They are honest.

Got my back brakes done on the Mustang. I thought I needed the front too since I had 70k miles on them, but he said I still had a lot of life in them and didn’t need them changed. I like and appreciate the honesty! Good to find in a repair shop!
The place is hard to find as the sign is very small, I drove by the place 2 times before seeing the sign next to another business sign.
I made a Saturday appt to get my brakes done, waited there 2 hours for it to be finished. My only gripe is I wish it was faster since I had the appt. Oh and I wished their big screen TV was hooked up so I had something to watch while waiting.
I’ll come back when I need my fronts done.

I just want to let everyone know what a great company this is. My husband and I took my little car in for brakes on a Saturday morning, I was mostly expecting them to make me an appointment for a different day but (even tho they were short by a guy) they did my brakes for a wonderful price and had it done that day. We were so impressed by the professionalism of all of the guys there and SO happy with the work the 2K guys did on my car that we took it down the next week and had my windows tinted, again just a wonderful job. Such great guys, we are also planning to take my husbands truck to them for new shocks and some body work. I am planning for more stuff to be done with my car, just pretty cosmetic stuff that I can not wait to get done.

I had an amazing experience with the guys at 2K Automotive. I needed new brake pads and rotors for all four wheels on my VW (anyone who is a German car owner knows how temperamental that they can be). All of the guys were SUPER friendly and welcoming to me having come in without an appointment.
I originally found out about them through Groupon but, I ended up needing service that wasn’t covered under the groupon pricing. But, they took care of me and made my experience a good one. I dropped my car off during my lunch break and it was done by the time I got off of work.
Definitely worth the five stars. I would go back, any day.

I was pretty sure there was a catch to the amazing deal for my brakes these guys posted on Living Social, so I called to find out what I was missing. Kyle told me the only add was for the premium brake pads. When I arrived early, Kyle came out to greet and gave me an estimate for the additional parts. He actually drove to East Sac to pick up the special tool needed for my 2009 Jetta. I was truly amazed at the level of service and price. Thanks Kyle and crew.

I’m originally from Sacramento and often go back there for car repair because the Bay Area can be such a ripoff. I saw a Living Social for brake pad installation which was super reasonable ($ 49) so I decided to get my front brakes done there, along with a long-​needed windshield replacement by mobile service Capital Auto Glass.
2K Performance and Auto Repair has been open for 6 months. They are joining forces with a few other auto repair service shops right next to each other to form a one-​stop shop for all your car needs. Kyle (the owner of the shop) is very professional and courteous. I had a tight time constraint as I had to get back to the Bay Area for a meeting and he pulled out all stops to get me out well ahead of schedule, which I REALLY appreciated. I also met Dan Walrath, who runs the Auto Custom & Collision Center, who gave me a great quote for some auto body work I need.
The location is a bit rough, but the guys who work there all seem solid and I was impressed with the service I got. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer!

To my surprise I received a quite sincere and gracious voice mail as he had my number from when I booked my appointment for last weekend, from Kyle at 2K earlier today, stating that he had just finished reading my Unilocal review…

Little does Kyle know that had his shop had sucked it big time I would have had not qualm one blasting it up and out here on Unilocal as well… But I much rather prefer receiving outstanding service from start to finish like he and his boys gave to me and my man and then Unilocaling about it…
