AAA roadside assistance (Natomas Towing) is fantastic, on-​time, and a life saver!
Earlier this summer I was towing my 5^th-​wheel camper from Bodega Bay CA to Sacramento CA. The freeway was packed with Sunday evening traffic, and the temps were close to 100 when my pickup truck started making grinding noises within the turbo-​charger. I pulled off the freeway and called AAA for assistance. I have a Premier Membership card with Roadside assistance, and have had AAA membership for over 40 years. This is the first-​time I’ve called for help! ! I made one phone call to AAA, they were very gracious reviewing my issue, and within 10 minutes I received two return calls with service-​arrival information. It was another 20 minutes when two AAA service trucks arrived (Natomas Towing) to help. One truck took my ‘broken’ pickup truck to a local auto dealer, the other took the 5^th wheel to my home. What a god-​send the AAA is, especially when the temps were at 100 degrees, and no local garages were open on the weekend.

Came in today to pay my DMV and update some insurance information today. Even though they were pretty busy when I came in the ladies behind the desks were nice and insightful.
I don’t know what a previous reviewer is talking about when he mentioned a four dollar fee for DMV services because I paid my registration and wasn’t charged anything extra.
Overall pleasant experience :-)

I blew out my rear tire by hitting a curb and I didn’t notice it until I got on the freeway. I called AAA and Jose from the Natomas office arrived in less than 10 minutes. He was super sweet and I am so happy to have AAA! Thank you again!

Fast and courteous. I forgot my card at home they looked up my info and help me get my sticker and registration. (:

I have only been in 2 AAA locations in my life– the former location off of Folsom and Howe Avenue and this location. Compared to the Folsom location, this office was highly efficient and was able to renew my membership and have the request sent out to get a new card mailed out to me in under five minutes. We stayed a couple minutes longer to ask them about one of their policies but the entire trip was painless. If you live or work in the area, skip the automated phone process and just stop in their office!

There comes a time in every person’s life when they must take the high road and separate from their parents auto insurance plan. That day came for me 2 weeks ago.
Since I’ve been covered by AAA under my parents ever since the first time I got behind the wheel I decided to stick with them and see what they would quote me.
This AAA office small but they weren’t too busy when I stopped in. I was immediately greeted when I walked in and waited less than 10 minutes to speak with an agent.
Candice was helpful in pulling up my old plan under my parents and explaining how it compare to changes on my individual plan. With a clean driving record (knock on wood) and already being insured with them before I got a pretty good deal with upgrades not far from what I was already paying. I admit I’m kind of an insurance dummy so I’m glad Candice was patient and explained everything to me thoroughly.
I left with a better understanding, my own insurance and AAA membership and a cute little portable speaker (for mentioning Unilocal) in under and hour. Can’t wait to start using my AAA membership discounts and perks!

Great place to make good use of my AAA membership and pick up some discount tickets, like I just did for the Monterey Bay Aquarium for our trip this weekend. Price at the door is $ 34.95pp, and AAA price is $ 29.95pp, so saved $ 10 overall. And, these tix are good for 365 days, not those shady «expire by the end of the year» offers I saw online and on Craigslist. I’ll pay AAA to have a ticket I know will work!
Anyway, the process was quick and easy, and the counter lady (Lisa?) was very nice.

Look at your paperwork before you leave. They screwed up my VIN and now I’m fighting DMV to get everything corrected.

Spoke with them over the phone and they answered all of my detailed questions in a very friendly and polite manner. Super helpful for me at least.

Incompetent. The worst. They quoted my homeowner’s as $ 1,200 per year and after I cancelled my old insurance and signed on with AAA, they increased it to $ 5,000. Nice, heh?

Amazing service! I was moving to another state and I needed maps and roadside assistance and they helped me by setting me up with the roadside AND making me a detailed map! They made me a loyal AAA customer!

I visited this office to pay my registration fee and change my license plates to avoid extra fees associated with specialized license plates. However, because my parents are the registered owners of my car I couldn’t change the plates. No big deal, that’s my fault, I’ll just take care of that with my parents later. I figured that since I was there I would ask for some help on planning a trip that needed airline tickets I have coming up. I recognize I could do this online but I thought that I might as well ask while I was at the AAA Office. However, I was told that this office only has agents that help with automotive travel. Why they have an AAA Travel Office without much travel information is beyond me.
My last task was to obtain information on Renter’s Insurance while I was there. Yes, they do have an agent that can help with this but of course she was busy. I had to get back to work so I couldn’t wait. After all of that the only success I had was obtaining a magnet with a telephone number on it to call for a airline ticket quotes. The front office woman was nice and as helpful as she could have been given the circumstance. But in the end it was pointless to visit this office. I wrongly assumed that an AAA Travel Office could help me plan a trip, how foolish of me.

I came in here to get the AAA Roadside Assistance package because I’m lazy and don’t like DMV lines — there’s no point in me beating around the bush. Waiting 2+ hours in a boring DMV line, only to be turned away or asked to come back with yet some more paperwork at the DMV? No thanks!
The main reason I came in this office was to do a Change of Ownership since I bought a new car and to get the tags for it. Successful and quick! Jami (the DMV woman there) was super nice and helpful, as were the rest of the staff. I now refer all of our smog customers to them.
