I would like recommend advance plumbing for the work they do. I had a problem with leak in floor in my dinning room. I called my house warranty American Home Shield. They send out Advance plumbing Co. They came out a tech name Chris Kumur. He crawl underneath my house where my dinning is to find where the leaks is really coming from. He trace the leak all the way to the kitchen where the main leaks is coming or the source the of the leaks. Come to find out two of the cooper pipes where the joints are the source of the leaks. It was getting late and getting dark but he was determine to finish it. And, so he did. Job well done. I would recommend him for your job.

We were referred to Advanced Plumbing & Rooter Service through our home warranty company American Home Shield. Our second story bathroom sink had a broken pipe that was leaking through the kitchen ceiling. Christopher was the technician that was sent to service our home. He was very timely, professional and fixed the problem within two hours of arriving to our home.

If you have warranty company referral you Advanced Plumbing, PLEAS DO NOT HIRE THEM! Ask for different company.
My house had no gas (no hot water and heat in cold weather) for 8 days because this company is so irresponsible, dishonest.
My home Warranty company send Advanced Plumbing to repair my gas pipe leaking issue. I called on Friday, but they didn’t show up until the following Monday .Then they told me they don’t fix furnace. So we called again for gas pipe leak on Tuesday again, Mike showed up, told me they need reroute new pipe line. He promised come back two days later with other guys to figure out what to do. So after two and half hour waiting this company sent three different technicians had no clue what is going on. They didn’t even check the pipe and told me it will be a 2 or 3 days big job cost around $ 3000 to $ 5000. Something wrong here. We called them back to actually check the pipe .They showed up again the next daytold me same thing. Again, I didn’t hear from them for another two days. My house was out of heat and hot water for 8 days. I finally called my own contractor who came on same day and reroute the pipe line in 4 HOURS, and cost only $ 1000.00.
I had a horrible experience with Advance Plumbing & Rooter Service, INC.

Best rooter I’ve ever seen. Called many different companies and none even compared. The gentlemen that came out even did the video for free. First time using and will continue to be a loyal customer. Thank you!

I had a great experience with Advanced Plumbing today. The serviceman, Chris, was very friendly and professional and could immediately identify what was causing the three problems I was having with my toilet, sink and plumbing. He fixed the minor issues quickly and spent the time it took to fix the biggest problem I had, even though it may have been over time limit. I really appreciate that the job was finished, and that he cleaned up around where he had worked.
I will definitely call this company again if any more problems develop. Thanks!

Our hot water heater exploded so we had no water for two days. When Chris Kumar got to our house on the afternoon of the second day he promised he would get us water that day. He worked for hours taking out the old heater and correcting the previously done careless work. He would not give up or quit until he was done! We think Chris is awesome! He got us a new set up and running water by working hard until after ten o’clock at night! Many thanks!

I can’t say enough about Chris and his team. They came out the same day we called about a major stoppage problem and they worked tirelessly for 10 HOURS to get it fixed. They didn’t leave until 1:00 AM to ensure they didn’t leave us with no facilities. The problem we had required digging up pipes that were several feet underground, installing a «clean out» that had been non existent in our 50 year old house, and then clearing the stoppage, which appeared to be the result of years and years of things being flushed that should not have been. The price was more than fair for the amount of work that had to be done. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this company to anybody. Couldn’t ask for better service at a decent price!

I would give this business zero stars if it was possible like one of the previous Unilocal reviewers. I was told by the receptionist that Chris would be at the house anywhere from 2pm to 4pm. I do not live at the property so I drove to the house, waited outside and called the company multiple times before receiving a call back a 30 minutes later. I asked if i would be receiving a call before the plumber gets to the house, she said yes. Chris called me and said he would be there around 4pm… Chris didn’t get to the house until 6pm. I waited 4 hours, but the worst is yet to come. Chris took his sweet time doing a job the could take 30 minutes, turning it into a hour and 30 minutes. He didn’t even bring an extension cord or tools to do the simplest tasks. He then tried charging me $ 180 to run the rooter through one pipe line and I assisted him the entire time. It has been 21 days and not the problem has reoccured! Chris said verbally that he would give me a 30 day warranty, but I called Advanced Plumbing & Rooter Services, Inc. today; March 13 and the receptionist told me that they will not honor what Chris said and that there is NO WARRANTY on their services if I don’t their video camera through, a costly addition charge. This company is terrible and the government should administer their work considering the people are incompitent and neglect the basic responsibilities of the plumber.
THE WORST SERVICE.

If we could give Advance Plumbing & Rooster Service zero stars we’d feel better. They LIED about the time block they scheduled us for, they LIED about the amount our home warranty covered, they showed up 2 ½ late, and they were mad at us for telling them we weren’t going to allow them to install a cheap $ 200 water heater from Home Depot instead of something similar to the water heater they were replacing.
They had to get pre-​approval for the work from our home warranty company so they already knew how much the HW company was going to pay ahead of time, so they went and bought the cheapest lousiest water heater they could find then LIED and told us the warranty company told them to buy it! We called the home warranty company this morning and they said they told Advanced Plumbing no such thing. So, Advanced Plumbing is who chose the cheapest water heater they could find so their service fee would be as high as possible and they could keep the difference that the home warranty company would pay!
Do NOT trust Chris Kumar at Advanced Plumbing. His Technician called him from our garage multiple times, once Chris told him to «make the homeowner shut off the main water valve if you can’t turn the knob on the water heater, because we don’t want to be responsible if the main water valve breaks!»
Then later on after the Technician showed us the cheap water heater he was going to use and we refused to allow it to be installed, he called Chris again and this time Chris showed up, picked a fight with me in our garage, accused me of calling him names so he could make an excuse to leave, then LIED to our home warranty company about the reason. And that wasn’t the worst of it. The Technician had already messed with the lines at the top of the water heater, made them leak when they didn’t originally, and since we couldn’t turn off the water heater with the knob on it because it’s so old and was corroded, when we turned our main valve back on and discovered the leaks they created and that our garage was FLOODING, Advanced Plumbing WALKED OFF THE JOB, jumped into their vans, and literally SPED down the street!
We had to shut off our main water valve all night so our garage wouldn’t continue to flood. We actually felt a little bad for the Technician who was very very polite from the beginning and wanted to get the job done, but couldn’t because of his lying, cheating supervisor. This morning we told the home warranty company about them, we’ve spent the morning telling several other businesses who may contract with their company, and now we’re telling everyone who has access to Unilocal.
Calling Advanced Plumbing & Rooter Service unprofessional and unethical would be an understatement. They are criminals! We noticed even the reply from «Chris» on another reviewers one-​star rating was lame. «We’re sorry you feel that way about our company.» No explanation of why they behaved the way they did at that reviewers property, and no rebuttal to the other reviewer either! They seem to KNOW they’re criminals and don’t care!
That other reviewer is absolutely right. STAY AWAY from Advanced Plumbing & Rooter Service in Sacramento.

The main sewer line in our house was blocked up, so I called Advanced Plumbing. The person who answered the phone was polite and professional, and we arranged a 30 minute arrival window for the appointment. They arrived just five minutes into the window, so hooray for punctuality!
Chris and his assistant were neat, and after listening to my problem, and that I didn’t know where the main clean-​out line was, they fished a camera down the kitchen clean out and it was like watching some science show on the Discovery channel! In no time at all, they had found the clog, the main clean out line, and cleared it up. We turned all the faucets on and flushed the toilets to check that the drains were clear, and I wrote them a check!
Although I paid a bit more than I had initially anticipated, their prices were reasonable for the quality service they provided.
I highly recommend Advanced Plumbing for your plumbing needs.

These guys are fast, efficient and price is reasonable. Was able to even work on a holiday (July 4^th). They were easy to communicate with. Always picked up the phone when I called. Very professional.
Would have given them five stars if they replaced the dry wall and tile.

Been using Advanced since February for everything from quick valve changes all the way to major sewer system fixes. Chris helped me tunnel under a tub in a duplex with a slab foundation, both of us laying in mud, replacing galvanized waste pipe until after 10 pm. I am by far one of the harder people to work with… I expect ALL tradesmen to move quick, live up to their word and often fire people for screwing around on my job sites. Lady in the office is a sweetheart too. Love the hard work Chris. Thanks again.

Our bathtubs and tiolets were not draining in our house. We thought it was going to be a quick snake job, so we called Advanced Plumbing. Their technician Chris came to our house and determined the problem was CONCRETE in the pipe. My wife and started to panic and Chris re-​assured us he was going to fix the problem. He used a pretty cool camera and other tools to accurately determine the length of concrete. He dug a trench and fix the pipe is no time. Also, his price was very reasonable.
I would recommend him in a heart beat!!!

My Fijian brothers came through! My refridgerator was acting up… and these guys came to the rescue. At first I was like, «plumbers? for an appliance fix?» but these guys are genius and can do just about anything.
They fixed my fridge, and it’s a rare one, they even found the part, and ordered it from overseas and then came back to install it.
These guys are good. They even told me they fix garage doors too! haha I’m amazed by their skills, and knowledge. They are friendly too.

You are correct, you did not have a contract with me. Still you rootered to my line from the neighbor’s property and claimed my line was collapsed. I asked you how much you would charge to rooter the line from the clean-​out on my property. You declined to do the service stating it wouldn’t do any good because the line was collapsed. That is why I hired another company and found out your diagnosis was 100% wrong.

We have used Advanced plumbing twice now and they have been great. Fast, friendly service and professional work both times. Chris is great and very friendly. Do not hesitate to call if you want quality work done. Very reasonable prices too.
