At first, I thought working with Tracy would be amazing. It wasn’t until my wedding day (3−21−15)that I regretted going with her. I ordered garden roses, and paid for garden roses, and apparently they «were stuck in customs.» Did she inform me? No, instead she gave me fake flowers in bouquet and I only found out she. She delivered them to me. All the bouquets and boutineers and weeping and falling apart after just two hours! We kept them in water the whole time, but the pins came out and flowers were dropping as my bridesmaids were holding the bouquets downward! I ordered carnation balls to go on top of small glasses and she made these balls holding six flowers, but charged me 75 per ball, with me supplying the vases! Also, day of he wedding, she decides that she would not pick up her supplies at the end of day, and that I would be responsible for them, even though I have email proof she stated she would pick up the glassware! The day of the wedding, she threw around the fact that she had to spend more money to buy me the silk flowers since what I paid for didn’t arrive, and that per contract she could make any decision she wanted in regards to flower choices without contacting me. Completely rude on the day of the wedding, and if I wouldn’t have paid in advance, I would have gone without flowers instead of paying her good money! I was balling my eyes out looking at my bouquet and she was like oh well! Do NOT go with her. I beg you.

I had the best experience working with Tracy. She did the flowers for my wedding and did a SPECTACULAR job. She listened to my requests and worked with my budget. I went to many florists and she was by far the most reasonably priced. I received so many compliments about how beautiful the arrangements were. They fit the theme of my wedding perfectly. When I saw the arrangements for the first time I was blown away. I couldn’t be happier with how gorgeous everything was.

Tracy deserves a MILLION stars! She is SO professional and friendly! She is always on top of it. She is up front on costs and always gives you every change or piece of information in writing without asking. One of the most professional people I have ever worked with!
The flowers were ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! they were a million times more beautiful than I had imagined. My wedding was gorgeous because of her! She is so nice and I will refer EVERYONE to her!

PROS: Tracy did an amazing job maintaining a dialogue with me before the wedding. She was very patient with all of my requests and concerns, and we exchanged many detailed emails and photos in preparation for the big day. She worked very well within our budget and was personable, helpful, and offered great suggestions.
The arrangements for the wedding were very beautiful and tastefully done. Everybody commented on how lovely the ceremony site and hall looked, between the lovely arrangements Tracy made and the decorations my friend set up for me.
CONS: The only problem was… this was a fall-​themed wedding. I really wanted lots of leaves, everything very «autumn». I emailed Tracy a week or two before the wedding asking if she had enough leaves for all the tables, the baskets and bouquets — and offering to buy more on my own if necessary — but she assured me she had plenty. I was more than a little disappointed that none of the bouquets had fall-​colored leaves in them, and that there were only a few leaves at most of the tables.
Perhaps I was not as clear as I could have been… I could have said «I want everything to scream „autumn“» but I didn’t say that in those exact words because I also wanted tasteful flowers, not completely overpowered by leaves. But I did explain that it was a fall themed wedding and that pretty much the only décor in the hall would be the flowers, on this point I was extremely clear. It is also possible that Tracy made a creative decision not to incorporate leaves because of the aesthetics of the arrangements themselves. Either way, I was very disappointed. And looking back, I was clear that I wanted orange as a primary color in my arrangements, but they were all red and yellow, no orange flowers, no leaves, no fall themed arrangements. Bummer.
The only other thing that turned out to be a bit frustrating was having to clean up (i.e. dump all the water out, etc.) and deliver all of the borrowed mirrors and tall vases back to Tracy’s home. My wedding was in Elk Grove and Budding Events is in Rancho Cordova… it was just a lot of work and very far to drive after the wedding, especially because of circumstances beyond our control we ended up having to do it in 5 o’clock traffic. That is obviously not Tracy’s fault, and she did give us a few days after the wedding to return everything. I have spoken with Tracy since the wedding, and she informed me that she does offer a clean-​up and pick-​up service option which I opted not to take. Although I do not recall this (no surprise, since planning a wedding is very stressful), it does not surprise me that I would decline the service as we were on a tight budget and that is exactly the kind of corner I would cut. So this last part is entirely my fault. My advice to you, then, is to pay for the clean-​up and pick-​up — in hindsight, it is totally worth it. All of that clean up is honestly the last thing a bride wants to do after her wedding — even days after. And if you’re a control freak like me and want to make sure everything is done properly so you don’t end up getting charged for broken or missing items or things being returned late, it’s hard to trust someone else to do it. It also seems unfair to burden someone else with that responsibility, especially if your family, friends, and bridal party (like mine) have already been so giving of themselves and their time.

Tracy was amazing from the moment we met her! I do not know a thing about flowers but I knew what colors I wanted for my wedding. Tracy was GREAT at communicating with me and made sure I would be happy with what she had in mind, she sent me pictures of all different types so I could pick. When we met with her she already had some ideas and started pulling different pictures as I described what kind of feel I wanted.
She was prompt on arrival the day of the wedding and I had told originally told her no yellow in the boutonnière’s and she came with different boutonnière’s prepared because the flower I wanted she could only find with a yellow rim. She brought the flowers to show me just in case, and I ended up liking the flower with the yellow anyway. She made the new boutonnière’s right there on the spot and they looked beautiful!
Tracy is top-​notch and I would recommend her to anyone!

My daughter and I met with Tracy to consult with her regarding flowers for my daughter’s upcoming wedding. From the moment we met with Tracy I felt we were in good hands. We had no idea what types of flowers we wanted — only the colors and the «look» we were going for. Tracy incorporated our desires and concerns with her knowledge and came up with some beautiful arrangements. She is an excellent communicator and I appreciate this — especially when you want this to be the best day of your daughter’s life. She arrived on the wedding day with the arrangements, checking with us to be sure everything was perfect. In short, Tracy provided beautiful flowers within our budget and her service was excellent. I highly recommend her.

Tracy arranged and artistically designed all the florals for my daughter’s wedding in the Fair Oaks, CA area mid-​August! She did such a beautiful job. She created an atmospheric presence we were hoping for with elegant table arrangements, beautiful bouquets, stylish boutonnieres, petals to line the bride’s walk down the aisle, sophisticated arbor accents and floral tree arrangements. The guest were buzzing for weeks after the wedding about such elegant arrangements which transitioned beautifully from daytime to a lit up nighttime display. We wouldn’t hesitate to spread the word about her professionalism and artistry to anyone looking to add elegance to any occasion!

Tracy did the flowers at our recent wedding and we feel very lucky to have found her. After succumbing to sticker shock from other florist’s estimates despite our healthy floral budget, Tracy was a breath of fresh air. True, she does not work out of a fancy storefront, but that helps keep her prices down. She was extremely communicative and responded to emails and calls promptly. My flowers were every bit as beautiful as the pictures I showed her from a wedding where the flowers cost twice what we paid. Unlike other florists we got estimates from, she took the time to discuss and show me pictures of specific flower types she was thinking of to match my vision. This made me confident that her plans matched my wishes. She was also receptive to feedback when we requested changes along the way. Most importantly, she worked within our budget to make our wedding beautiful and never made us feel like we were compromising due to finances. If you have a wedding coming up, do yourself a favor and book Budding Events ASAP.

Tracy of Budding Events was the florist I used for my June 4, 2011 wedding.
Right away, I was impressed with Tracy’s upbeat personality, knowledge of flowers and exceptional prices.
Unfortunately, on my wedding day Budding Events truly failed to deliver in more ways than one.
Tracy, owner of Budding Events, had offered prior to my wedding day to personally deliver all of the flowers I had ordered.
Approximately two hours before I walked down the aisle, I learned Tracy had accidentally pinned our men’s boutonnieres on a different group of groomsmen in the lobby of the hotel I was in. I learned of her error after she phoned me to tell me she had pinned our groomsmen with bouts in the lobby of the hotel I solely booked for my wedding preparation. Horrified, I explained, just as I had told her previously in several emails, that our groomsmen were not at the hotel and were never to be at the hotel and were waiting to be pinned at the church just a couple of blocks away. Flustered, Tracy explained she would return to her home, nearly 25 minutes away, and create new bouts. Uneasy and nervous, I left for the church nuptials before schedule without any of communication from Tracy. Also, my bouquet began to fall apart as I made way to the church. With assistance, I was able to cinch the flowers together, but still felt disappointed with my bouquet and unsatisfied with its appearance. When I arrived at the church just slightly ahead of schedule, I expected to find the groomsmen pinned with bouts, as promised. Fortunately, shortly prior to the ceremony, a wedding party member had asked a passing nun if she knew of any wedding flowers left by anyone. The nun explained that a woman had left a box of flowers in the lower level, below the church. While I was relieved to have the new bouts, I couldn’t help but feeling frustrated with Tracy’s lack of communication, organization and professionalism. After our church ceremony I observed my husband and other groomsmen with loose, lifeless flowers hanging from their chests.
The next day I decided to phone Tracy and express my concerns and hoped only for a heartfelt apology. What seemed to be Tracy’s husband answered the phone number she had provided me with. I immediately explained my experience and unhappiness. It was clear my phone call was simply a nuisance. He flippantly told me about all of the compliments and praises they had received. Tracy later called and did leave a message defending her actions with a weak apology. And even before I had reviewed «Budding Events,» Tracy had to the audacity to write a negative review about her experience with me as a customer, claiming she did not understand why I had called her to complain.
Update: If I had in fact smashed the flowers, why did you not tell me at the time Tracy? Couldn’t you have tried to repair the damage? Also, how do you explain the poor quality of the men’s flowers? I never told you the groom’s party was in the Citizen Hotel Lobby. I asked you to deliver the bouts to my room. I’m confused as to why you pinned our flowers on a DIFFERENT wedding party. I’m even more confused as to how you could claim this is MY fault when I asked you to deliver all of the flowers to my hotel room.
If anything, I think I deserve an authentic apology from you. After all, I was the customer, right?

I found Tracy of Budding Events on Craigslist. She is amazing and really works with you! Similar to what Shannan had mentioned, she responds to email/​voicemail very quickly!
I had no idea what our wedding bouquets could look like and Tracy kept throwing ideas at me!
I have to say, our flowers were AMAZING and more beautiful than I could have imagined!
Not only were the flowers gorgeous but they were also decently priced (about 25% cheaper than any other florist I spoke to)!
Tracy is truly amazing! She delivered bouquets and bouts to two locations when the delivery fee was just for one location!
I would definitely recommend Budding Events to anyone needing flowers at a great price!!!

Our wedding flowers were gorgeous! I loved absolutely everything about them. They were exactly what we talked about at our consultation, and they were ready on time, without any hassle at all. Initially, I recommended Budding Events based on Tracy’s wonderful consultation, but now, I can recommend her based on her beautiful floral work. She provides an excellent service at a tremendous value. If you are shopping florists, it would be a mistake not to call her for a consultation.

Tracy was great! She was the only florist I could find that didn’t have a «minimum order». I only wanted my bouquet and my husband’s bout. Tracy was awesome! She listened to what I wanted and gave it to me exactly, and ON BUDGET! I couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks Tracy!

Tracy did my daughter’s wedding this last weekend and did a wonderful job. Not only were the displays unique and original, but they were beautiful and the flowers stayed fresh all afternoon in 95+ degree weather. She was prompt, professional, and in and out. She handled everything personally. We highly recommend Budding Events for your wedding.
