Went to this location at 11:04 :37. Ordered a teriyaki burger along with other items like chicken stars and a chicken club burger… Came home to find out the teriyaki burger had everything on it but no meat… NOMEAT!!! What kind of burger joint forgets to put the burger patty on the burger? I did not order a veggie burger. This location is a sad example of a what Carls Jr is about. We called to confront the employees yet they hung up on us and must have took the phone of the hook. I gave this location one star because I couldn’t give no stars. Whoever you all had working this night should be fired or drug tested. I am very upset with Carl’s Jr and I will be contacting corporate. Sad cause we wanted fast food yet we have to go back… Thank you for the inconvenience and I really hope they flatten this location or replace it with In&Out, Burger King, or Smash burger… Anything would be better than what these employees have to offer us customers. We love Carl’s Jr. The employees give it a bad name… Would probably had a better experience if robots served us. Order number 228605. #HungryLivesMatter

Went here on several occasions. The last two times I had an order for 3 people and got the«is that all» attitude from the people on drive thru. No longer a customer.

Food is good but the service is shoot myself slow. Taco salads are tiny but yummy and bf always gets a six dollar burger. I love their ice tea but seriously the slow service is ridiculous. And they won’t let you add on to the order at the window which sucks. Especially if you’ve been waiting so long you now have room for dessert too! Only reason I come back is because bf says the burgers are the best in the fast food world.

Pulled up to the drive through, had no greating for 3 minutes and when i say hello i get«i already said hello 3 times» i didnt know i get a shitty attitude with my meal and im certainly not hard of hearing, at that point it was time to back out of the drive thru and go somewhere els, if the drive thru guy cant even be polite then the food will most likley be shit as well. I actually have eaten there before and it was nasty, giving it a second chance failed horribly.

I order steak and egg burrito and I got a messy bacon and egg burrito. I don’t understand why they make me pull over when there is no car behind me on the drive thru. Will not return to to eat there again.

So it was my birthday weekend and of course a lot of stuff was going on. Well after a long weekend of fun my good friend an I stopped by this Carl’s Jr for a quick snack before closing this weekend out. I had a simple order a spicy chicken sandwich and a drink. My buddy order a #4(Big Carl) so when we go to the window to pay I ask for another water cup the lady working the window in the drive thur got a serious attitude. She replied I got to charge you. Well I can go on and on about tonight but she needs to have some better people skills and be more polite.

I had to boycott this location for about a year due to very rude customer service. Thankfully that Carl’s Jr. manager no longer works here. The new management and crew is so polite it makes me think I was not the only one dissatisfied with the previous management. While this is not normally the biggest, freshest and best Carl’s Jr. in town, it does have it’s moments.

This is definitely NOT the best Carl’s Jr out there. The service was extremely slow, and there was only one person in the drive through in front of me but no one inside. I ordered a turkey burger with lettuce wrap, and I think the lettuce was several weeks old. The sweet potato fries were hot and the only redeeming factor to the meal. Overall, if I am driving down Broadway and hungry, I think I will pass this place by.

This place is the worst Carl’s jr I have been to. First off, the staff manning the cash registers are not boarder line retarded, they are clinically handicapped… my 79 year old grandmother would describe them as «feeble minded» or «simple»…I asked for a western bacon cheeseburger combo and got a famous star. Secondly, the staff is rude. When bringing my food, the«waitress» threw my tray on the table, asked if I needed any ketchup(with her back turned away to me) from 5 feet away… she didn’t even break stride! Third, the tweekers and hobos on the parking lot trying to shake me down is always nice… if I’m gonna pay 10 bucks for a bad burger… why do they think I will have extra cash after that ripoff???

On my way back to campus, it was either McDonald’s or this… Carl’s Jr won because their burgers are bigger, hehe. I ordered the Famous Star burger by itself because I wanted to feel a tiny bit«healthier» by not having the fries and drink with it. My boyfriend had the fish(and something) burger combo in the medium size. I think he told them he wanted the Fuze drink, but they put raspberry iced tea on the screen… LOL I’m not sure if they even had Fuze there? But it didn’t matter because I ended up drinking the raspberry tea anyways :) Honestly I was so glad we didn’t get Fuze or whatever because I hate those drinks. Plus, my bf was trying to be sweet and«surprised» me by saying his drink was for me, LOL… okay… My burger was alright, but I think the meat was kind of burnt. I don’t mind though! Over done is much, much better than having it partly done haha. Their fries were fresh!(I hope) because they literally burned my tongue when I ate them. My bf was saying that’s how you know they were just made because usually at fast food places, the fries would just be warm but get cold within minutes. These fries were much better just because they burned our tongues, haha. Customer service wasn’t bad at all, just seemed a tad slow.

Oh Carl’s Jr. is my secret dirty guilty pleasure. Yes; I with all my this is how food should be, and let’s make Sacramento a better foodie destination, find myself in different locations of this chain more often that I’d like to admit. I don’t like the regular burgers, but the six dollar guac or the six dollar jalapeño burger have my name written all over them, and they call me to them so loudly it becomes heartbraking to resist. I don’t go here for the service or the wonderful ambiance! Hah! I go here, because once in a while, I’d like to down a meal here, and then hang my head in shame. Sometimes, I have a fantasy where I wear an invisible cloak and can eat here weekly without embarrassment. For the first time, I tried the chicken filet sandwich. I topped it with some jalapeño from the salsa bar, and poured the acidic juice of the jalapenos over my chicken as well. My chicken was cooked so nicely, but my boyfriend got a thinner and drier one. I guess Carls Jr likes me back, cause they gave me the nicer chicken! :)) ;)

This place is always great. We have never had any issues and when our order was messed up one we got a free dessert. My favorite thing about Carl’s Jr in general is their attention to customers. I get my food brought to me and asked if I need anything else. Just fantastic.

Tonight around 10pm, my wife and I were getting back into town after a busy theater day, which didn’t afford us time for lunch. We were too hungry to want to sit down for food, so we went to this Carls Jr and ordered a couple sandwiches in the drive-thru. The only good experience we had tonight with this place was that we got our food quickly. Unfortunately, it was as if the meat in both of our sandwiches had sat around and hardened. Neither the chicken nor the turkey were warm when we got them, and when we got home, we’d found out that the chicken sandwich we ordered without cheese or mayonnaise turned out to be a completely different sandwich WITH cheese and mayonnaise, even though we saw the sandwiches we ordered on the«verify your order» screen. The turkey in the other sandwich had the consistency of compressed cardboard — incredibly dry and hard to chew. My wife couldn’t eat the chicken sandwich because of the cheese and mayonnaise on it that she didn’t want, and I couldn’t eat the turkey sandwich because the meat was practically inedible. The place wasn’t busy. There was only one car in the drive-thru ahead of us, so there was absolutely no excuse for our sandwiches to be incorrect, cold, and inedible. Our previous time here was a let-down, as well. The fried zucchini was cold and greasy, and one of the three sandwiches we ordered was missing from the bags we were given. I’d strongly suggest skipping this restaurant and taking a 4-mile jaunt down Freeport to the one on Fruitridge, near Walgreens.

Really Carl’s? It was a simple order and you messed it up? When a person is hungry and on their way to work, the last thing they want to discover when arriving to work is having paid for something and not getting it. You have one pissed off customer this morning! Your hash brown tater things are nasty and soooo greasy, it’d be a quicker death to just choke on one! Three bites of the sandwich and 2 tater things into it and I knew this was a big mistake. Never again! This was a sign: that’s what I get for trying to do fast food in the middle of trying to maintain a healthy diet; so in a sense… Thanks!(Thanks for your negligence and nastiness!)

I don’t review fast food joints often because, unfortunately, the standard set by most is low enough where the only reason I’d ever really take the time to write something out is if the service was magnificent and out of the ordinary. Or so bad that I just had to share the experience. This is the latter. I felt like I was in a sitcom situation while in the drive thru at Carl’s Jr. on Broadway. You know, where the employees are so inconvenienced with doing their job that they cease being actual real people and turn into cliches. Not only did I spend 15 minutes in the drive-thru with no other vehicles in front of or behind me, but the guy working the window was ONHISCELLPHONE, left the window multiple times to go and sit in the dining area, and when I finally did get my meal it was literally handed out blind with not a single word. Not even a «here you go». The food itself somehow sits under regular fast food standards, soggy and drenched in whatever sauce it comes with. My cup was drenched in syrup from the soda machine… at least I hope that’s what it was. This place needs new management, new staff.

Most of the time our order is done correctly and quickly. On occasion, like a few other Unilocalers mentioned, there are issues. Being that it is close to home and a decent place to get breakfast before we hit the road on an early morning road trip, we will still keep them in our rotation for now. After all it is a fast food restaurant and they okay hitting the mark most days

Normally, I do not bother to write reviews on fast food joints. However, I decided to make an exception for this Carl’s Jr. location. My family and I were in a rush to get back on the road and decided to pick some crisscut fries and fried zucchini up. After we paid the young man, we were expecting to have our food within a few minutes. But instead the young man asked us to exit the drive-thru, make a right on to the main straight and circle around to the main parking lot so he could bring us our food when it was ready. Wait… what?! How is that practical?! Initially, we were the only car there and I did not see how it was logical for us to exit out and return to the main parking lot. If that were the case, we might as well have placed our order inside. So we waited for quite a bit… at least longer than should be merited for a nearly empty fast food restaurant. We saw the guy circling around, trying to remember if we were the right car. Eventually he made his way to us with our food. I was concerned on how often orders get mixed up and how practical it is to tell customers who come through the drive thru to exit out and return to the parking lot. Eh I definitely regret choosing to come here… very annoying, especially since we were in a rush to get back.
