I purchased a one-​on-​one make up session with Christi as a gift for my daughter. The Unilocal reviews and pictures showed just what I thought my daughter would want –using makeup to enhance good features and a natural look. Christi and I communicated via email. She was very prompt in responding, welcoming and warm. Very professional. As a record of the session, Christi sends photos of each step and written descriptions. My daughter and I absolutely loved the result… natural looking but clearly enhancing her features. Although Christi and I have not met in person, her warmth and professionalism comes through immediately. She feels like a friend. I highly recommend Christi’s work and this session. Give a special someone or yourself this gift. It’s well worth it!

Christi did both my mom and my’s makeup on my wedding day in June of 2015. All I can say is this lady is fantastic! I had found Christi online after a lot of research and she also came highly recommended by my fabulous wedding planner. After my trial session with Christi I knew there was no one else I wanted touching my makeup on my special day! She is such a doll and is AMAZING at makeup! She made me feel like the most beautiful woman on my wedding day, something that all brides should feel! My makeup felt timeless and seriously lasted all the way until the next morning for brunch! I was so sad when it came time to wash my face ;)
Christi truly went above and beyond on my wedding day and stayed with me until right before I walked down the aisle! She was constantly doing touch-​ups to my hair and makeup all throughout pictures. Christi did my hair and makeup for my wedding day in May of 2015. She added two assistants and took care of a total of 24 hair and makeup services for the big day! I am not your average California bride and was not looking for beach waves and natural makeup as I am ALL about the drama and Christi more than delivered my vision. My favorite moment with Christi was when it was time for the «Dad Reveal» with my father. My dad and I shared a good cry when we saw each other but to my surprise Christi was just as invested in the special moment. She couldn’t hold back the tears and I cherish the pictures of myself laughing and crying at the same time remembering looking at her and saying, «Oh, Christi! Are you okay!?». I truly felt like I was sharing a moment with one of my longest friends. Christi made me look like I had never balled my eyes out after seeing my dad and I truly felt that I looked the best I ever had. She stayed with me after the ceremony, pinned my hair from down to half up half down, and did touch ups during family photos! Christi is the real bridal dream. I promise you she will exceed all of your expectations!

Christi was my makeup artist for the day of my wedding last month. She was one of the first wedding vendors I reserved due to I know she books months and months in advance. From the very beginning, she was helpful and willing to chat with me about all of my questions and overall vision. She never made me feel rushed or that she didn’t have time, she was always available and made me feel special. I met with her for my trial and we came up with the basics for the day of the wedding. I was very picky and knew exactly how I wanted to look on the big day, I was nervous to say the least. Christi assured me along the way she knew the look I wanted to achieve and it’d all work out beautifully and it did. She was more than patient with me, following the hair/​makeup trial; we must have sent 50 emails back and forth about details. I’ll never forget the moment she handed me the mirror so I could see myself for the first time, I instantly started crying because there wasn’t anything I wanted to change and it was more than I could have hoped. She also did hair and makeup for some of my bridal party and they were all equally as happy with the outcome, everyone felt beautiful and it was due to Christi and her amazing team!

Really sweet person. Did a great job with my makeup this morning, and gave me a much needed uplift after an absolutely terrible start to the day. Not only that, but she gave me a hug too! I thought it was really sweet of her to do so, as I needed it. Also, I like the fact that Christi put great trust in me (in terms of a deposit) and still allowed me to show up at her studio. It says a lot and reflects well on her that she put her trust in me, and I’m glad I was able to repay it. I would recommend going to her if you can. I wish I could have my makeup done by her every single day.

Christi is amazing! I could not be happier with how my hair and makeup turned out for our wedding earlier this month. I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day. Christi made sure I was calm throughout the day, which is not easy on one of the biggest days of your life! I opted for the full-​day bridal experience, meaning Christi stayed with me until after our ceremony. I am so thankful I did! Christi was there to do any last minute touch-​ups before the ceremony and right after. I was worried I was going to ugly cry during the ceremony (tears streaming down my face) and it was such a comfort knowing Christi was there to fix anything before our wedding pictures and reception. She even left me with a little bag of lip gloss, blotting paper, and other essentials for the rest of the evening. I highly recommend Christi’s full-​day bridal service!
Not only did I look amazing, but she also made my ladies and the moms look stunning too. Her hair stylist (for the moms, bridesmaids, and flower girl), Kayci, did a fantastic job giving each lady a beautiful and unique updo that worked with all of our looks.

Christi is an amazingly sweet and talented person. She was cool, calm, and made myself and my wedding party feel absolutely beautiful. She even brought me a starbucks with «bride» on it on my wedding day! She is an absolute doll and listens to exactly what you would like to look like, taking all feedback and then applying it so your final look is flawless. I even had two bridesmaids who decided not to get their makeup done, decide they quickly wanted her to do their eye makeup after seeing the rest of us get ours done. I loved working with Christi and I hope you enjoy her amazing talents and sparkling personality on your wedding day!

Christi did my hair and makeup for my wedding day in April and I couldn’t have been happier with the results. Communicating with her was always fast and easy and I felt confident about having made the right choice even before our pre-​wedding trial session. I had picked an uncommon hairstyle and Christi enjoyed the challenge. She also really understood what I was hoping for in my makeup and created a look which made me feel beautiful, feminine and confident on my wedding day.
On the wedding day she even walked around the venue with us and the photographer during our photo session and made sure that I always looked flawless. Needless to say that the pictures turned out great and I am so happy that I did not skimp when researching and picking my hair and makeup artist. Christi is very sweet, always professional and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone who would like to look their best — no matter the occasion.

Christi did my wedding makeup for me, my mom, and 6 bridesmaid. She was super easy to talk and made the start of my wedding day a carefree fun day with my friends. I absolutely loved what she did with my makeup. I felt like a princess on my wedding day with her amazing skills. In addition, the makeup up held up for the 90 degree wedding and 10 hours of wedding party fun and I never felt sweaty. In addition, during the trial run and all of my emails Christi was super prompt to response. Christi Reynolds is fabulous! I recently worked with her for my Boudoir photo session and I could not have been happier. She is truly talented and you can tell that she loves what she does! Besides bringing a positive attitude and fabulous energy, she comes with 15 years of experience and knows how to enhance your features, rather than try to hide them. I had the best experience doing a make-​up lesson with Christi. She made it fun and easy to create an easy and every day make up régime. She had the best tips for brushes, and how to mix and match what you already have to create a very clean and natural look. I first met her when she did our make up for my cousin’s wedding a year ago and I knew that I would need to do a make-​up lesson! Her style of make-​up is really the best, and she is an eyebrow master! I have very thin and light eyebrows, and she taught me how to fill them in with 3 simple steps! Christi is the best! As a fellow wedding vendor, I am so picky about who I refer to my brides and I am thrilled when I get to work with Christi. She is super sweet, so much fun to be around, and so great at what she does. All of my brides who have worked with her have been so happy with their experience and how they look on their big day!
I’ve also had Christi do my makeup a few times for special occasions, and every time I have such a blast. She’s such a sweet person and you feel like you’re just hanging out with a friend. I found out about her private makeup lessons awhile ago and finally decided to go for it, and it was so worth it! She spent almost 2 hours with me going over what was in my kit, showing me how to use certain things more effectively and suggesting a couple additions. I ended up doing the session that includes step by step pictures and I’m SO glad I did, because after everything she covered there’s no way I would have remembered everything without the pictures she’ll be sending along with instructions. She went into detail about why each step was so important and tips and tricks for each part, and once the whole lesson is summarized in the photos and instructions, I know it will be a great routine for a 10 – 15 minute everyday look.
I will always recommend having your hair and makeup professionally done on your wedding day so you can just feel pampered and look your absolute best, but her private lessons are such a great way to feel super confident with your everyday makeup. I highly recommend it!

I recently had a makeup lesson with Christi and she was amazing! I wish I had done it years ago! She was fun, patient, and shared lots of tips on what products to use and what colors work best on me. It was a great experience, highly recommended!

I’ve had the pleasure of having my makeup done by Christi for both a professional head-​shot and a boudoir shoot, and I cannot recommend her enough. I have never felt so beautiful in my life — wish she could do my makeup every day! I mean, she makes my skin look flawless, she accentuates my best features, she chooses the perfect colors to compliment my skin tone and eye color, and yet it looks completely natural and feels lightweight. I loved getting to work with her in two different types of photographs too since they call for such different looks. I’d love to try out one of her classes next! In addition to her mad skills, she’s extremely professional and just a flat out joy to work with.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Christi for a recent photo shoot. She has a pleasant personality, and gives you the look that you want. Her studio was easy to find and convenient. It was a comfortable experience for someone like me who usually wears little makeup. I definitely recommend her!

Christi made my NYE truly beautiful! She came to our hotel and brought her entire setup! She did airbrushing and fake eyelashes with everything else and I felt like a princess. I received so many compliments on our night out. I may just plan another night out just so we can call her again!

I’m jealous of all you brides out there who still have your wedding day ahead of you, complete with the chance to spend a full morning with Christi’s talent, charm, and hilarious good company.
For my wedding day, Christi worked her magic on me, my bridesmaids, and all the mothers of my party. We felt beautiful, confident, and bubbly the entire day, and everyone, including the folks who hate getting their pictures taken, smiled easily for the camera.
Christi perfectly executed my vision of natural, light makeup with a touch of drama in the eyes. I’ve never felt more gorgeous as I did that day, and I’ve become a complete and total narcissist since the pictures were delivered, staring at cheekbones, eyelashes, and eyebrows I never realized I had.
For my hair, Christi brought along a ridiculously talented assistant named Michelle Chiquet who gave me the most magnificent updo I have ever seen – on my head or anyone else’s. Working from a collection of about 5 inspiration photos, Michelle sculpted my hair into a piece of art – a tumble of curls, somehow weightless but never budging for the entire night. Pure perfection.
Christi’s talent is rivaled only by her sparkling personality and sharp sense of humor, which kept me cracking up with each delightful email communication, and kept all my bridesmaids giggling and ready for the party on the morning of. Seriously: the girl will not only make you beautiful, she’ll make you LAUGH.
The only downside to hiring Christi is that sad, fluorescent-​lit, Cinderella-at-12:01 moment of staring into the hotel mirror, sweeping off your gorgeous face and taking all bagillion-​and-​one bobby pins out of your gorgeous hair. But fear not, because a few weeks later, your pictures will arrive and there you’ll be, laughing and glowing and even more beautiful than you remember, with a face that you can admire and drool over forever, all thanks to the work of an über-​talented, professional little pixie named Christi.

Booking Christi as my makeup artist for my wedding was a no-​brainer. I originally found her here on Unilocal and I was so impressed by all the amazing review she received. After looking at her website and seeing how beautiful and natural all of her brides looked — I knew that I had to have her do my makeup for my big day!
Not only is she an incredible talent, she is also one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She is so genuine, easy to talk to and really took the time to get to know me and my personal style. I am not the type to wear a ton of makeup and the look that she created for both my engagement pictures and my wedding was natural, classic and timeless. I looked like ME and that was super important to me.
On top of being an absolute artist — she is also very professional, organized, and responsive. My experience working with her was 100% positive and so much fun! She made all my lovely ladies and me feel like the most beautiful girls in the world. I absolutely adore her and I can’t wait for another special event to come up so that I can book her again.
