Comcast Service Center

When I have to call Comcast to get help with my service, I get a glass of wine and a cigarette ready before I sit down for the hour or so it is going to take to get anything done. And I don’t smoke. Or drink.
Why do I have to log in to find out what deals or promotions are available?
There is no CHAT … you have to pick a topic and then you just get directed to a long list of answer to questions you don’t have.
Call Comcast? Ha ha ha. It’s no better … they put you in a loop with buttons to push and then spit you out at the end.
I HATE Comcast.
You should have a way for us to pick ZERO stars.
And by the way, this is NOT directed at staff on Bruceville. It’s EVERYTHING about getting help for ANYTHING.

On 1.8.2016 I returned a cable box for a friend to the Comcast Service Center on Bruceville Road. The facility was easy to locate, clean and not crowded.
Most importantly I received fantastic customer service from Cathy L the CSC Sales Consultant. Cathy was friendly, polite, immediately helpful and had a complete understanding of returns, charges, reversals and credits.
Truly exceptional professionalism.

First of all, I hate the fact that I even have to pay to watch my t.v. Comcast Comcast! What can I say? I hate when I have to deal with these people (literally)! I came in today because it is unbelievably how the phone service is with this company, waiting on whole for 35 – 45 minutes. How can you be this big and have all these issues?
The customer service is HORRIBLE! I do find that when I come in and speak with someone face to face I get more done. Personally, Comcast to me don’t seem to care to much about their customers. They won’t tell you about promotion in the store versus on the phone the reps will. The staff here are no friendlier than the ones on the phone. No personality for customer service!
The line is always long and it seems there is never more than two cashiers open to wait on customers. Just be prepared to wait when you do come here. I really wish they had a store location a lil closer than here. I really think that Comcast really needs to work on customers service for real. People pay way to much for bad service!
This store is always clean, small but clean. There’s lots of parking, but it’s always busy over here because there’s a lot of businesses in this strip mall. Took care of what I needed too. I’m just happy I don’t have to deal with Comcast to frequently.. Once in a blue moon works for me. issues…

Staffs are nice! Except a fucking black dude works on the right side. He doesnt want to give you any promotion even there is a promotion on the service that you need! The reason i know is because i already talk to a staff before i came to him. And that staff told me that he gonna give me promotion. But the black dude didnt even talk about it when i came to him, he gave me the full price

Worst I have the top Internet the offer and it’s so bad I can’t do anything and when u call them you’ll never speak to a person

Comcast sucks, you call for something so simple & it takes 25 mins just to talk to a real person ! Nobody wants to talk to a stupid ass machine. & once we actually talk to a real person all they say is sorry. I know your sorry but how does that help my wifi not working & the charges on my bill that I never even asked for. If I had all day I can write all day about Comcast but I don’t have all day because I have to go into the Comcast store now because the stupid machine girl hung up on me after 25 mins.

After spending a half hour on the phone with Comcast, to authorize replacing a dead cable box (one tthat Concast forced on me, saying my currently operating box was getting old, though I was very happy with it and it worked fine) I drove to this service (what a misnomer,) center where I had to wait a few minutes to find out the current wait time was a half hour! The representative looked at me and said they were moving pretty fast today. A HALF HOUR??? Just to swap a box?
Comcast continues to thrive as a monopoly in this town. Why don’t our regulators fix this on-​going problem of high cable rates and terrible «service». I have no option but to go back tomorrow, taking a book with me to read. No, I did not stay there today.. . I was too sreamed.

Service tech shows on time Sun ¹⁰⁄₁₈. Says can’t find cable. Will have to put one at there cost. Everything to be completed by end of week. Supervisor out later to confirm situation.
Supr shows later, finds connector by house. Says need to have blown out (?) and connected. Will be done by end of week.
Nothing from Comcast by late Tues. Call and told earliest appointment not until Wed. ¹⁰⁄₂₈! 10 days without TV service!
Lots of «so sorry’s, we apologize».
Today, Wed. 10/​21, tech shows up. Finds connection, confirms its working. How did he find it so easily and a supervisor and installer not fin it???
Call Comcast ofc Confirm appt. for Wed ¹⁰⁄₂₈. I tell them I have hospital appt that day. Advised me they would email supervisor of situation and call me back within 30 mins to an hour.
Now 2 hours later and no call!
No wonder Comcast voted worst customer service every year. I will never give this company any praise. And I doubt anyone from the company reads these reviews as well.
But, if you like to hear a million so sorry’s and we apologize’s then this is the place to do business.
(P s. No tv so lots of time to type this with one finger.)

Bottom line… Comcast sucks! Equipment sucks customer service sucks and nobody seems to care! I am here dropping off all of my equipment because I have moved to consolidated communications!
Edit. to top it all off it is busier than he’ll and two people take off on lunch or break! So glad I changed companies!

I walk up to the counter with all the equipment in it box with the top that has been cut off of it. All of the UPC codes serial numbers are facing up. The kid tells me to take it all out of the box for me! Then he asked me if there’s a reason why I’m canceling my service? I told him the equipment sucks customer service sucks! He apologizes to me and tells me you should have come in here and talk to us! Our customer service is much better in here than it is on the phone. Really? You were unwilling to help and made me take everything out of the box! Your customer service sucks too!

Comcast is good but if u are in the 95 823 zip code get a different internet provider. I switched to Comcast thinking it would be better, but, I haven’t had this much trouble with an internet provider. First they took 2 mf weeks to get internet going tried to charge me and I fought to it got waived and now we are getting ‘outages’ every mf week. And they sure as hell are still charging the full bill monthly. Internet or no internet. Is it not supposed to be u debit cash once service is rendered? I don’t care if it’s a 10¢ or 10 $. I should pay for what I get.

Comcast service for phone and Internet is the worst I have ever experienced. every few months or so, we experience either phone or internet outages. Their customer service is beyond bad and they do not care about their customers. And when I say «they» I’m referring to the company as a whole not necessarily an individual employee … It’s very difficult to bypass their automated service and get anyone human actually on the phone but when i do, they are polite and do try to assist. I do not understand how a company with such a terrible reputation happens to stay in business. I’ve read other reviews and have spoken with multiple people and everyone I have spoken with complains bout their service. I feel like I’m being held hostage by Comcast because I don’t have much options to choose from when it comes to Internet and phone where I’m located. I understand that service outages can occur, but for it happen so frequently and then being unable to reach anyone to address the problems within reason is unacceptable. I just got off the phone with a human from Comcast to address an interent problem. It took me three days and 12 phone calls and multiple disconnects from Comcast before I was able to speak with a human. Comcast should be embarrassed.

I read all the bad reviews and thought I would have a horrible experience, but that wasn’t the case. When I got there, I did not have to wait. Cathy helped me out. I returned my modem (since I bought my own) and exchanged a box that wasn’t received signal. It was very fast process.

Most people might think I’m crazy giving any Comcast location a 5 star review but I really had a great and efficient experience here. I’ve had several bad experiences at other Comcast locations and with Comcast over the phone so Comcast has never been on my good side. I was exchanging two large HD cable boxes and was helped into the store immediately before even stepping in. Jason was the Comcast employee who helped me and gave great customer service. I was able to trade in a my old HD box for a new one and I was out of the store within 10 minutes. Jason even offered to help me carry the box back to my car. I was pleasantly surprised by their helpfulness but maybe Comcast is actually trying to improve their overall customer satisfaction.

ANYTHING with Comcast on it stay away.
Almost hundreds of dollars of unwanted additional fees that we didn’t order, the internet hiccups every few minutes, they never maintain or replace their lines, and the worst customer service in America.
Comcast makes Walmart look high end. They are not even BBB accredited due to the fact that they have thousands of complaints and hundreds are not addressed. No effort whatsoever from this company.
If you have ANY alternative in your area and it slightly more expensive. Take it, trust me, it will be WAAAAAAY cheaper in the long run.

The obtaining a business phone saga continues with Comcast. Told to wait at office between 2 and 4. Service person would be here (this took an amazing 2.5 weeks) No one showed up. Called told that there was no order despite me having an order number and confirmation of install.
Now they tell me they will be here Tuesday between noon and 4. Verizon, anyone where are you?
I am happy with home service despite some touch and go at start but the business side of Comcast is dismal.
I am uncertain what address all of this is out of but Comcast needs to provide service to businesses. There will be a day when there is (hopefully) competition and Comcast will not be choice.

Let me just say this review is on the service I didn’t receive, I had an appointment at 8−10am, and I received a call at 8:01am from the dispatcher and he said the technician has been «knocking on my door and calling me», well I didn’t hear a knock and or a call on my phone. When I went outside he was already driving away. Well I was told they were going to come back at 10; they never did… Long story short, I am very disappointed and canceled with them before I even had service.

Dear Comcast,
I’ve had to drive back and forth from rancho Cordova to this location several times because you guys have failed to serve me well. First visit: you give me the wrong box. Second visit: the box refuses to work. I’m done driving back and forth so I go ahead and just call a technician to come over and see what the issue is. Now, I’m well aware that im a procrastinator and should have done this weeks before the biggest fight of the century, instead of just days before BUT the least you could have done was send one of your many techs out today instead of tomorrow just an hour before the fight.

My family pays $ 80/​month just for high speed internet. It was wonderful, while it lasted…
Now we have horrible horrible connections. The internet disconnects every few minutes. Was this what we paid for? Was the horrible service what we paid for? Absolutely not. Every time I call in to complain they will just blame the brand new modem or router we just bought last year. My brother is a gamer, so we did not go cheap on those items.
We are all currently living in the 21^st century, where internet is an essential part of daily life and when I cannot stream peacefully or access Unilocal successfully. There is a SERIOUSLY A PROBLEM.
Comcast please get your act together and update and fix whatever you need to do. My verizon LTE is faster than what your company has to offer.

Wonderful customer service and knowledgeable staff. Very organized.

We were having problems with our AT&T U-​verse (the wireless wasn’t working) so we decided to switch to Comcast. Called Comcast on a Thursday and set up an appointment for the following Wednesday. Got a call on Tuesday saying that they would need to reschedule for Saturday due to some internal thing regarding transfer of our phone number from AT&T to Comcast. We were given a window between 2−4pm.
The Comcast rep, Shawn arrived on Saturday at about 3:50pm. I opened the door. Shawn, who was not smiling, just looked at me. I smiled and said hi. Shawn, with a sour face says something like «are you supposed to have someone here from Comcast?». Not «Hi» or «Hi I’m Shawn from Comcast». I said yes and asked him his name and how his day was going. He said not very well.
I’ve had bad days myself so I try to be understanding but seriously, this guy was in a pissy mood. He took a look around and said he didn’t have whatever it was that he needed, that someone would be out in 7 to 10 days and left. I was so disgusted that I called AT&T one more time to see if they could resolve the wireless issue. I explained tovthem what had just happened with Comcast. AT&T sent someone out the following day (Sunday) and he was able to fix the problem. Oh, and he was friendly and nice.
Seriously Comcast, if this is the kind of service you provide new customers then I would hate to see the customer service for existing customers. Boo on you. Oh yeah, and fyi…7 days later and still haven’t heard a word from Comcast.
