Very dirty company–
Comcast uses every dirty and unethical trick in the book. I have an overpriced bundle, that I complained about the service and equipment to them for over 2 years.
Recently in yet another attempt to fix it, they sort of fixed but still problems with service. Little did I know that this constituted (in their mind) a renewed contract for a further 2 years… another 2 years of overpriced and under-​performing TV, confused and deceptive service.
I don’t know how to be more disappointed in this company.

Absolute worst customer service… and I am not even a customer!
I called to have an aerial wire removed because I bought a house and the previous resident had Comcast and we decided to go with AT&T after reading so many bad reviews about Comcast. Over 15 phone calls explaining the same situation to over a dozen different people over a course of 21 days still did not resolve the issue. All I want is to have an aerial wire removed that leads from the phone poll to the house. That makes perfect sense to me, but apparently it stupefied every customer representative that answered the phone. I do not know how else to explain to remove an aerial wire. It’s a wire… it’s in the air. It does not float or have any magical qualities. It is just attached from a phone poll to the house, like almost every other single wire in this world.
They told me a technician would come to remove the wire. This happened about 5 times and each time no technician showed up. They gave me a ticket number referring to the situation and when I would call back and tell the representative this number they had no clue who I was or what I was calling about and I would have to explain the whole thing all over again.
To this date nobody has come to the residence or even called to see if the issue was resolved. They just make promises to show up and then never do. Why in the world would I ever become a customer?!?

I am as surprised as you probably are about this terrific review, but I feel it must be said. I have had to deal with Comcast several times in the last month or so. I was dreading the first time I had to call them. Much to my surprise I received excellent customer service. When I mentioned, in a nice way, that I was surprised by this great service the agent said that Comcast is making a huge effort to provide better customer service. Well, it shows. Yesterday I had to call to request that a large, and unusual, charge be removed from the account. They did it. No questions. Both the agent and I laughed at my surprise. My thanks to Otis, Josh, Crystal and Andre for their great customer service.

We came in to pick up our new DVR and modem and this is by far the BEST Comcast store I’ve been to. The store is clean and beautiful and brand new and the service was excellent. AJ was the best, thanks for all your help!!!

Weekend stop with a 10min wait, great customer service at check in and service desk. Turned in old all old boxes and got the new with voice remote.

Worst company ever. Not a review of the actual service center. Charged me a rental fee for a personal modem for 4 years. Advertised 150mbps but the best I’ve ever gotten is 12. When you talk to anyone in tech support they just blame it on your modem, even if it’s a «Comcast Compatible» modem. Criminals.

I felt so disrespected by some young guy hispanic who looked like he will hold that position at Comcast for the rest of his life if he’s lucky. I went to make payment and he treated me as if I was a bother when I ask for a billing explanation that was detailed in the comcast system and not on my itemized billing statement. I asked to speak to a manager and he told me she was on the phone after walking to the back. (I’m sure he told her I was pissed) When I asked for the assistant manager he points to an employee walking out and says but he can’t help you because he is new and doesn’t know anything. I hope this place implodes and a thousand camels poop on the ruins or that ignorant guys personal doorstep at home!

Came here during lunch to return a older cable box. The greeter quickly helped me with my box and took down my name. It was a 5 min wait and the second guy was nice too and gave me a receipt. I received great service! Thanks Comcast!

Wow so many bad reviews! I have had comcast for many years and sadly cannot transfer my service to Woodland because they do not offer service here. We now have direct tv and att for Internet and both suck! I miss Comcast’s easy On Demand menu.
I returned my equipment at this center and was surprised they were pretty organized and the wait was about 10 minutes. We were kindly greeted by a gentleman who took our name, asked us what we were there for, and put our name on the wait list. When our name was called, we returned 5 pieces of equipment, signed a receipt, and we were done in about 5 minutes.

Comcast is the worst. I’ve always had trouble with Comcast, but it’s the only high speed internet provider I have access to. Outtages, bills that rise every month for no reason, and terrible customer service.
Here are just a few examples of Comcast’s miserable service:
–Your bill will magically change month to month for no reason.
–You will occasionally get randomly charged for things you’ve never had, like a leased cable modem from Comcast.
–When you call for technical help, there’s only one thing that every rep says: power cycle your modem.
–If you dispute a charge and call them, they will tell you your account has been credited for the next month. Hint: it won’t be. Comcast does this over and over hoping that you’ll forget or just plain given up.
–Comcast will automatically «upgrade» your service when your contract expires. Not just charging you the normal price for whatever you had; they will actually upgrade your service, giving you more channels, but charging you more without ever asking.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER GET COMCAST.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I HATED COMCAST. Read below my issues… It got to the point where I documented and recorded All Communication for potential future litigation. I will NEVER do COMCAST again. I would rather use Netflix and Sonic Internet. So far they are reliable. And my DIRECTV is hands down the best service I’ve had. Tons of channels, high quality HD, little to no outages. And great customer service.
My attempts to cancel and be free from Comcast has been such a headache and consumed so much if my time, not to mention the added stress of receiving bills in the mail despite canceling my service 6 weeks prior.

— Called to Cancel, transferred to loyalty dept., said service will be shut off ⁹⁄₁₆.

— Account has been turned off, will see some residual for a few days but not paying for that. Don’t worry, only will be billed for used services.

— Takes a few days eff date was noted as 9/​16, $ 50.08 was only thing owed. If I pay that it will be paid in full with no issues (96 and chance total bill).

— Well that’s your perogative sir… Checked online bill and it was 145. Billed for unpaid balance (despite told not billed after ⁹⁄₁₆).
Spoke to Jose who said it shows clear. Req to speak to floor supervisor. Explained how last time I was told «system still hasn’t updated yet,» and prior to that I was told «system hasn’t updated.» Which was sox 3 – 4 week diff.
Only owe $ 3.47 now. Kelton (ID: Q2). Only bill they send will be 0 balance. I received the first bill after canceling because system hasn’t updated. Unsure why I received the second bill with the $ 46 as unpaid balance when I didn’t have service. No explanation as to why this bill had HBO service when I didn’t have HBO service prior to canceling.
Should update within 24 hours and Internet account will reflect $ 0 balance.

Comcast service for phone and Internet is the worst I have ever experienced. every few months or so, we experience either phone or internet outages. Their customer service is beyond bad and they do not care about their customers. And when I say «they» I’m referring to the company as a whole not necessarily an individual employee … It’s very difficult to bypass their automated service and get anyone human actually on the phone but when i do, they are polite and do try to assist. I do not understand how a company with such a terrible reputation happens to stay in business. I’ve read other reviews and have spoken with multiple people and everyone I have spoken with complains bout their service. I feel like I’m being held hostage by Comcast because I don’t have much options to choose from when it comes to Internet and phone where I’m located. I understand that service outages can occur, but for it happen so frequently and then being unable to reach anyone to address the problems within reason is unacceptable. I just got off the phone with a human from Comcast to address an interent problem. It took me three days and 12 phone calls and multiple disconnects from Comcast before I was able to speak with a human. Comcast should be embarrassed.

I’m subscribed to comcast for 90 bucks on basic cable and internet (ive had this plan for just a year) they didnt bill me for 1 month and when i logged in cuz i had to make a new account on the website they claimed I owe 236. From a simple bill of about 90 bucks a month, they started to charge me for a completely NEW plan i was not aware of (no email, no calls, no mail). then they said about i had to pay EXTRA for renting the cables and EXTRA fees like how many times do i gotta rent it, it should come with the damn box anyway.
So now they are saying I gotta call their «customer loyalty service» but reading online people have had the same experiences but now the loyalty service was never existed.
****$ 236***guys and i have a standard non HD box with standard channels… Like from 1 – 80 then the 2 year free deal with HBO (which SUCKS it makes golf look like porn).
If a comcast customer service reads this, answer me why i’m paying over 200 for a non hd non special box and deal of yours. Y’all weren’t as affected by the drought as farmers so why are u charging me extra for BASIC STANDARD TV&internet.

Comcast! Every single 1 of there reps lies through their teeth. I came to realize every single rep would sell lies just to hang up with you. They nickel and dime every single little thing. They have hidden fees they don’t tell you about. The customer service straight sucks! Most were rude. They had to send out 4 techs and 4 different receivers via mail because they kept sending the wrong ones or Defected boxes. Screw Comcast !!! I wish I had more thumbs I’d give these hoes 4 thumbs down !

Comcast/​Xfinity SUCKS!
If I can, I would give them NO stars!!! I’m stuck in a contract to which they didn’t disclose some key points that would have made me change my mind. My contract will be up this November and I CAN’T WAIT TO GET OUT. I’ve been giving them too many chances. Once they got you lock in on their contract, customer satisfaction is not in their vocabulary!!!

Comcast needs to understand that they are not PG & E or SMUD… they are not a necessity… we don’t need you… stop raising your prices and locking your long time and (was) loyal customers into long term contracts and half the time there are issues with it. Ever since Xfinity, I don’t know how many times I would sit there and watch a show and all of the sudden it reboots itself. Or, I turn on the TV and get a message that there are technical issues and please call… and to please be patient. Well, my patient has run out… the cost does not outweigh the product or the service. It used to be, well, you get what you pay for, but for the cost that they are charging now… why has the quality of services not increase???
So Comcast sold me a bundle; Internet, Cable and Alarm. Their alarm is a joke. And they don’t tell you ahead of time that you have to register with your local police apartment and pay the alarm permit yourself. It comes with only two motion sensor and pretty much the sensors only go off if someone opens the door… what burglar do you know will open your door to rob your house. If they break a window, it will not trigger the sensor. Yes, I know, they have a motion sensor as well… HA… so one day I completely forgot to turn off the alarm when I got home. The señor is located at the front door and I had walked in through the garage. I spent the whole day just walking around the house until later that evening I opened the front door to take out the trash and my alarm goes off. What a JOKE!!!
It took them three months after the installation before every thing worked right. What was the problem… according to them, because it’s a bundle, whenever I have issues with the Cable or Internet I couldn’t get it fix until the ticket for my alarm was completed and close. The ticket for my alarm couldn’t be completed because of this and that… so many excuses, that I just stop listening.
Take your business and go… go far far away… no one cares, you won’t be miss!

I also wish I could give zero stars. I have already been waiting an hour. To pick up a modem. That’s it. Something so simple, yet they cannot seem to provide service in a timely manner.
Maybe they should hire more staff, so the wait isn’t as long – and while they’re at it, they should hire staff that actually provide good customer service. At least 3 people before me have come to dispute bills. The staff was not helpful, with no empathy for the customer at all.
The DMV is a friendlier place than your neighborhood Comcast store. Also, Irene is rude as fuck.

COMAST’S ERRORS DAMAGED MY CREDIT SCORE. STILL NO APOLOGY.
I moved apartments and my service. Comcast gets the apartment number wrong. Despite the fact that I’m on autopay, I get a call months later saying I’m late on my payments. I discover the error in apartment numbers and tell them to fix it. They don’t. Same call soon after. Same lack of solution.
I visit the Comast store and tell them in person. They are still unable to fix it.
Then, I get a call from a debt collection agency for not paying a Comcast bill for an apartment I’ve never set foot in. I revisit the Comcast store. They promise that the damage to my credit score will disappear «after a cycle.» That was months ago.
***I’VE FILED AN FCC REPORT. IF YOU’VE BEEN ABUSED BY COMCAST, I SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME.***
Bottom line: It took Comcast 6 months to figure out where I live and where I don’t live. And, it will take them probably just as long to repair the damage they’ve done to my credit.
P. S. Did Comcast ever apologize for their litany of errors? No. Did Comcast ever offer me anything for the damage they’ve caused? No. Did Comcast even give me the product I paid for? No, despite paying for the highest speed, there were MANY times I could barely stream a YouTube video.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD.. I’m sitting here ready to fling a fistful of money at you and where are you? Oh yeah! Blowing me off for THREE SOLID WEEKS.
You showed up at my place after rescheduling me TWICE and you horrible, negligent people had the WRONG GEAR so you RESCHEDULED ME AGAIN!!! What?!? You PROMISED to be here again within the week and it’s been over a week. I am shocked and amazed at how poorly you treat people ready to pay you. If you weren’t the only internet service in my area I would NEVER choose you ever again. You’re the worst.

Update***finally got svc on after calling Comcast. Of course no one there had a clue & I had to reiterate everything. The representative told me I had to pay extra money to have it reconnected. wtf??!
I told her, «No I don’t think so. your dept. turned it off, so therefore, turn it back on on your dime».
They finally did at 6pm.

I signed up for an internet promotion with Damon. He walked me through the promotions and I signed up for a plan. A couple days later, I checked my internet speed and it was lower than what I signed up for. I called customer service and they told me that the speed in my account is not what I signed up for and is in fact a lot lower.
I went into the store to inquire about this. The person that was helping me looked into my account and his jaws dropped. He told me Damon messed up and basically ripped me off. The promotion is over and they can no longer honor the promotion I was supposed to get. What I received was false advertisement and lies. There is nothing they could do about it and I would just have to absorb the costs due to their mistakes.
Damon’s negligence is costing me additional money for a lower speed. Comcast is not doing anything about it to fix the problem to what I have originally signed up for. They offered a package with the speed I was supposed to get for a higher price due to their mistakes. It just doesn’t make sense that I should I give more money to Comcast for something that I was supposed to have at what I’m currently paying.
I’m about done with Comcast.
