Recently ive had to take away all the stars i had previously given this location. ive thought long and hard about this. but in the end, ive decided this store should be burned to the ground and all, except one employee(Ray) should be locked inside of its burning doors as it falls. some of the patrons of the store should be locked in as well to endure the burning collapse of this abomination of retail, where sales are second and incompetence is first. the first of the two incidents to change my love for the store involved my birthday present. My girlfriend pre-ordered an expensive peripheral based video game, i think you know what im talking about. she ordered right before we went on vacation and she requested that she NOT be called before the game came in as not to alert me to the fact that she got it for me and also asked if they could hold it for her because we would not be in town. the manager himself assured her that she would not receive this call and that the game would be held for us. she received this same call we mentioned before(the call that shouldnt be) while we were in line for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland. she sneaked away to return the call and was informed by she whom we refer to as «the fat girl», that we would have to come in pick it up or call back Wednesday if we wanted the game to be held. did i mention we were in Anaheim? sorry, we’re in Anaheim on our vacation… which she explained when she ordered it. lucky. there was Ray. he is a good friend of unimpeachable quality and skill. when she rushes to the store after we get back there is a big sign on it written in his scribe for them not to sell it. good man. the second damning experience was when i rolled in to make a purchase for my new system and i got in 45 minute debate about why«my» system is not as good as the competitor. the one that i just bought and came back to the store to buy peripherals for. this conversation was with the manager. so i copped out and got out. i intend to never go back and i will discourage ANYONE from walking through those doors ever again, especially the employees; get a life. go back to school. get a real career, if not just a transfer to a better store with more class and perhaps better training.

Nice guys, always go out of their way to find the game you’re looking for and tell you of current offers and deals. Definitely run the way a video game store should be, although if you want to sell your games, you are better off getting more money through craigslist, amazon or ebay(but that’s pretty standard for any video game store, really).
