Can’t complain. I would recommend them. My garage had one spring and they replaced it. Later found out that it would be better for a garage to have two springs to balance and less strain on the garage. They fixed what was broken but did not educate.

Came in looking for a replacement remote for my garage door opener (Genie Pro Screw Drive). I was in and out in 5 minutes with a replacement remote for $ 35. Called Sears beforehand and they had them for $ 45.

Moved into my house a couple of months ago. Garage door stopped working when it got cold. Troubleshot and determined that the capacitor had failed. Called to get a quote for a Genie 19988A Motor Starting Capacitor. Left a voice message. Received a prompt response from Michael and the message said and I quote, «The capacitors are $ 16 each». At this point, I am thinking oh boy! What a deal. $ 15 at Amazon and $ 16 at this local store. Why not?
Drove out to the store to purchase the capacitor. I went in and said «I need the Genie 1998» at which point Michael advised me that there was only 1 capacitor that fit the Genie system (Incorrect information since Genie also uses a lower 50−60MFD rated 18004B Capacitor as well as the 70MFD 19988A). Michael also stated that I had called him about the capacitor a couple days ago.
Michael brought out the 19988A which is what I needed and I was happy that it was the correct one. I was ready to pay for the Capacitor at which point I was advised the price was $ 28. Hmmm… I wondered. But what about the $ 16 price left on my voice message. I was told that the Capacitors were actually $ 32 but I was being given a break at $ 28. I guess it was raining that day and they must have felt sorry for me and decided to drop $ 4 from their bottom line without me requesting it. Another thing that I was told was that I must have been talking about a different part. I don’t think so. When I specified Genie capacitor on my voicemail and when I get a response that says «The capacitors are $ 16 each» I don’t see how we could have been talking about two different parts there.
At this point I advised Michael that I did not want the capacitor at that price. I went back into my car and decided that I needed to prove a point and make sure they heard their voice message left on my phone. Even after doing that I was advised that the best that could be done was $ 28. I did not buy the capacitor. I was not going to give my business to someone that does not keep their word and provide false pricing. I did not care that I drove miles to this store. I did not care that I would be without my garage door for a few more days. It was a matter of principle. I ended up ordering the Capacitor from another retailer. Paid $ 21 for it. Replaced my broken capacitor and now have a working garage door no thanks to Eudy Door Co.

I had an excellent installation on my new quiet garage door opener. I made an appointment with Eudy Door Company. I called on Saturday after they had closed. Left a message. Within 2 hours Mike Eudy called me to see what he could help me with.
I appreciated the call. He said he likes to check just in case someone has an emergency. Now, that is excellent customer service.
Well, mine was not an emergency, but we made the appt. for Wed at 10:30AM. I received a call on Wed. morning confirming a tech was on the way. Sure enough at 10:30, a truck was backing into my driveway.
I met Jaz. A friendly professional guy. He did the install in about 2 hours, programmed both remotes, installed a LED button on my wall (which looks real nice, it shows time & temperature).
He then installed the push button remote on the outside of my house while I set the secret 4 digit code. At that time he asked me to start the car, and he set the built in car button that opens my garage. He was an expert!
My garage opens so silently now. It’s whisper quiet. All I hear is the small sounds of the wheels. Which he lubed the entire mechanism for me.
I highly recommend this company for any of your garage door needs. I posted some photos too.
The price for the entire installation was $ 125 (I purchased an opener from a big box store).
I shopped around and quotes for the installation were in the $ 200+ range. The price I paid was for everything installed brand new, and complete removal and haul away of the old. So worth it!

I just had Robert come out and service my garage door after the spring broke rendering my door useless and impossible to open. Within an hour of calling Eudy he had arrived just 30 minutes after a call from his dispatcher to let me know he was on his way and he had the parts, replaced both springs and lubricated all the moving parts
and was on his way. No mess, no fuss. I highly recommend Eudy. Thanks Robert!

Broken spring so garage repair hunting we go. Eudy answered the phone so they got the job (yes, this was a problem for 3 other competitors). They were on time and out the door quickly. You can’t ask for more than that1

I called Mike Friday morning having questions about my garage door. I explained my situation and apparently it was a simple fix! By far one of the most honest and patient businesses I’ve worked with. Instead of sending out someone to my house to troubleshoot my problem ($ 95) Mike instead just guided me on what to do. Although I’ve not official done business with them I plan on calling them for all my garage door needs.

Great company. My husband and I had to replace two garage doors that were originally installed in 1963. The garage had low ceilings and an attic opening in one of the ceilings. I had another company out and they said there was nothing they could do for us. We had Mike come out and give us an estimate. He was professional and found a solution to our trickery problem. The installers came when we were at work and when we got home we had two new beautiful garage doors! Great company, good people.

Once again Eudy Door has come to the rescue! Door started making a horrible grinding sound as it came up, it could be heard all over the house and probably half the neighborhood! Called that night after work hours and Mike returned the call first thing in the morning and Jeremy was there by lunchtime. Door is repaired for less than we thought, plus serviced.
I am a Realtor and have referred many clients to them through the years, all of whom have all been as pleased as we have been when we have called for our own garage doors to be repaired.
I met Mike, the owner originally when I was managing 50 plus single family rental homes in the south area. He was always so responsive and so honest.

Our spring broke on Sunday morning around 10:00 am and we couldn’t even manually open the garage door to get our cars out. We needed this fixed today, since we had to go to work the next day. After calling a couple of different places to find it either closed or no services on Sunday, we called Eudy Door Co. I left a message and Michael called us back within 5 minutes. I explained our needs and also asked if we could get our garage door fixed around 2:00 pm. He said he would send someone out to our place between 2:00 — 5:00. Jeremy came out at 3:00 pm and he repaired our broken spring. He was very nice and he did a great job. He did it so quickly and seemed extremely knowledgeable on what he was doing. At one point, he even told my husband to not help him lift the garage door because he was concerned about our safety. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated the immediate call backs and coming out so quickly on a SUNDAY. Thank you.

I highly recommend Eudy Door Co. Based on Unilocal Reviews, we called them to replace our old wooden garage doors. I’m glad we did. Mike’s consultation was spot-​on and he wasted no time in recommending the perfect set of doors for us. A few weeks later, Robert came to our house and expertly installed the new doors. Not only were the new doors perfectly installed on our three-​car garage, but Robert also fixed the sloppy installation of the motors and hardware performed by one of their competitors. Thanks guys!

Fantastic service. Professional, courteous, quick. I called on Tuesday for a Wednesday appt. They had an opening, assure it would be a quick to repair and inexpensive. They were right about it all. $ 89 for a full service, rewired the opener, fixed the dents in the door, aligned the door and track repair. Thank you.

We needed to replace an old garage door for a rental property. When I called and informed them what I needed I was given a couple options but it was not a «hard sell». I was quoted a great price. They made arrangements with the tenants to come by and measure then to install. The tenants were happy with their flexibility and commented on how professional Eudy’s were. A great experience.

Guy and the counter (Michael) is a real jerk. Called about a capacitor and he began to talk my ear off without answering my original questions so needless to say after all that yammering i had to call back a couple times to match the part. Then he called me a some-​kind of weirdo for calling back while continuing to insult and told me to go buy somewhere else. Surprisingly I was nice the whole time, but good lord what what a nutjob! Never buy from here not worth walking on egg shells to repair your garage door!

We have continued to use Eudy through the years, having now moved to a new home with an older unit. Last week they needed to replace rollers and a broken spring. The workman, Jazz, familiar from a previous visit, was once again very personable, knowledgable, and efficient. I called on a Sunday after 5pm and they returned my call on Monday morning.

My garage door was acting up again and I called the Eudy door company to come fix my door. Megan from the Eudy door company came in this morning and she was great. She was quick, professional and told me beforehand how much it was going to cost before she proceeded to fix the garage door. I had a 15 dollar off coupon that I was able to use this time. Great company. Fast response. I will call them again if I have a problem with my garage door again. FYI — They charge 89.00 dollars for a visit plus cost of the parts. Definitely use the coupon and save yourself 15 dollars.

I called Eudy door company in the morning and I told the gentlemen on the phone what my opener was doing and he knew right away that the gear had to be replaced.
The gentlemen quoted me a price and said that they would be at my home the same day.
Robert showed up at the scheduled time. He was very friendly and professional. He went right to work and replaced the gear. He even inspected the rest of the garage door setup, lubed the chain and other parts that required it and advised me that the spring would most likely be the next part to need replacement and quoted me price for that as well.
Very impressed with their service. The company seems to still value customer service and relations when many companies could care less, their rates are reasonable and I will defiantly use Eudy Door Company again.

I called Eudy asking for a free estimate (as advertised). I let the rep know I have been a customer to them in the past. Once I told the rep the make and model of my garage door opener, he immediately recommended I buy a whole new unit. He was not at all interested in giving any thought to fixing my existing equipment.
I choose to explore my other options and Capitol Garage found the problem was just the jumper plug was loose and fixed it immediately. I asked the Capitol rep what he thought of my garage door opener make/​model and he said they can go on be serviceable for many years to come. Boo to Eudy for trying to sell me a new unit for no reason. For shame.

Our garage door broke, and after trying to figure it out, we found out that the spring broke. I called the company that was on the garage door opener, but they never answered. So, I came to Unilocal and searched and found these guys. I called, and they said they could be out within an hour. They did, and they were efficient and easy. On top of that, as the guy was testing everything, he heard a lot of excessive noise from the garage and said it shouldn’t be doing it. Found the issues there, fixed those (mostly lubrication) and now our garage door doesn’t just open, but it makes a TON less noise than it did before.
Hope I don’t have to use them again, but if I do, I’ll definitely be giving them a call.
