High Quality Window Tinting

Getting car #2 done here. This is, by far, the most professional experience I’ve had involving a tint shop. The owner is very professional, the waiting area is just amazingly clean, and their quality of work lives up to their name. If you are looking for tint, stop now, and get here!

They did alright, it was not a perfect job, there’s a minor scratch in one of my rear windows that I won’t take back and complain about as long as it doesn’t get bigger (and mine is a brand new car). They were very friendly and took my car immediately even though I was more than 30 minutes early for my appt and they were still working on another car ahead of me. I called in the middle of the week and Tru answered immediately and got me in that Saturday. Nice waiting room and with many of them working on my car, it was finished in a reasonable amount of time (did all windows except the front windshield). Gave me the groupon deal and told me not to bother purchasing it through groupon. They did add $ 50 for the non-​metallic lifetime warranty tint.

Very knowledgeable and personable staff. They work fast and retain quality. Great experience. Upgraded on a damn fine deal. Would recommend to anyone wanting window tint. Any bad remarks are very specific cases by people whom most likely failed to follow through with care for their windows. Cheers (:

I really wish I would of paid attention to the previous reviews. Brought my car to get my windows tinted. If you are expecting quality tint, this place is not the place for you. However, if you pay for the groupon you get what you paid for. I paid the full price for «quality» tint. Save your money and go somewhere else. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Purchased a groupon to get the windows of my wife’s Mazda 5 tinted since it’s a minivan type car, and I really wasn’t thrilled with people being able to see into the car (especially the trunk area). They did a GREAT job with it. It looks great, and they gave us a whole list of things to be careful with to ensure that the tints stay on properly and don’t start to remove themselves or bubble on us. So far, it’s been great and the car looks great!!! Would use them again if I need tinting.

I bought a Groupon for the front, back, and rear windows. I waited to post a week later to see how the tint settled in and so far it’s been looking great! They booked my appointment within the week that I called (I could have gone in the next day but I had a busy week). They greeted me with excellent service and the job only took 2 hours. Its a great deal but I tipped based on retail value, not groupon value, because really it was already such a heavily discounted groupon. I upgraded to the lifetime warranty tint for $ 75. The staff is friendly, prompt, and know how to run a business. Thanks again!

I guess you get what you pay for! I had to go back 3 times and still I have small white dots inside the tints. It’s not air pockets cuz the tint should be dry by now it’s been over 2 weeks. I’m always having to come back for something. they should change their name cuz it’s not high quality tint! Don’t believe me experience it for yourself. Good luck!

I changed my appointment last minute because I had to work. They said that if I brought my car before 4pm they could get me out before they close (6pm). To my delight, all five guys worked on my ride and pumped it out in an hour. The waiting room has several couches to relax on and complimentary munchies and sodas was a nice touch. They had a movie playing but like all humans, I was glued to my phone (free wifi btw).
If I had any complaints it would be that i was hoping to only pay the groupon price of $ 100 bucks. Instead we added an additional $ 30 for alternate tint due to radio antenna on back window. Also $ 70 because my Subaru Legacy wagon has extra windows. Most importantly the car looks great and honestly $ 200 bones isn’t bad.

I should have checked here before giving them my business, horrible job, I had 9 windows to tint and 5 of them had big gaps, two of them had cuts that were uneven. I even drove out there to resolve it but the owner felt my concerns wasn’t justifiable to either re-​tint or issue a refund.
I strongly recommend NOT to take your car here.

Purchased a Groupon to tint all 7 windows of my 2014 Chevy Impala. Called on a Monday, technically when they are closed, and set up an appointment for the very next day. I was greeted as soon as I walked in! I had to upgrade to a different type of tint though because my back window has the antenna installed in the window itself. The Groupon is offered for their metallic tint so make sure you check your car prior to going so that you’re aware it’s extra. The owner informed me of the difference and answered any questions that I had. Thankfully I was able to tint the driver and passenger window because some places won’t since it’s not ‘allowed’. I preferred to not have to drop my car off and come back later to pick it up and he was kind enough to offer to have all 3 of his guys work on my car and they were done in about an hour. My car looks amazing and it comes with a lifetime warranty. They did an excellent job leaving no bubbles or scratches present.
The lounge area is extremely comfortable with plenty of space and Shante gave excellent customer service talking with me the whole time instead of sitting in an awkward silence waiting. I haven’t had good experiences with Groupon deals but I for sure recommend this place. Definitely showed that good customer service still exists.

After driving and looking around in Unilocal & speaking to a few rude people elsewhere. I found this spot and let me say that the attendant was friendly off the bat, he was not trying to sell me the more pricier and giving me a cheaper options. We took a 2015 Chevy Sparks and 5% tinting on the back and a shade lighter in front he quoted $ 225, which was less than previous quotes of $ 350 & $ 250. He ended up offering our smaller car $ 200 for the best quality and lifetime warranty. That there is great customer service. It seems as though you can make an appointment, which I’m sure that’s always recommended. However, I appreciate the fact they took us as a walk in and started working on our car in less than 10 mins. Thanks a lot.

I strongly do not recommend this shop. I have a brand new car that I brought in to get my windows tinted. When they called me to pick up my car I told them it would take me at least an hour to get there and was mislead by their posted shop hours because they then told me that they go home when the last car is finished. They gave me the option to leave my keys with the owners of Metro Pcs next door and to pay over the phone. As my only choice, I picked up my car an hour later. I noticed multiple scratched and bubble on every window. I called back and was assured that time would solve those imperfections. They had also promised that warranty papers would come within a few weeks but I have yet to receive them.
Over a month later I take my car back because the bubbles and scratches are in the same condition. Talking to the owner he would not stop reiterating that I needed to have realistic expectations about the window tint. Which I believe was very unprofessional because any car owner should want their car looking as nice and blemish free as possible. I had agreed to make another appointment to have my car fixed but after thinking about how the conversation went and how he was downplaying the scratches and bubbles, I believe that it is not worth having them touch my car anymore.
I have asked to have my tints taken off and to be refunded but they have been nothing but difficult.
If the customer is not satisfied with the final product o believe that they should be refunded without being harassed any further.

Tru tinted my windows and I was in and out. I think Chaunte was the women on the phone who answered when i booked my appointment very professional. I got my car tinted more than six months ago and it still looks nice with no baubles or scratches. I do have photos but not sure how to post :(

I’m not sure who are leaving these negative reviews but my experience has been the opposite. I called and got in right away. My car was finished when promised and I absolutely love it. I’ve referred two friends already.
The front of the shop is clean and inviting. The waiting room has leather couches and a TV. It’s super nice.
I’m rolling in a 2014 Challenger. People are starting to notice my car around Elk Grove. My tint job is getting me noticed!

My initial experience and impression with HQ was not the best, but I’m opting to edit vs. update my review due to circumstances beyond my or HQ’s control.
I had purchased the Groupon deal as a gift and was excited to get the appt set, only to not be able to get in contact with HQ for about a week. I began seeing negative reviews here. Frustration set in, I left an unfavorable review as well. Then i called Groupon, who actually gave me even more of a runaround solution to solving the issue.
In the end, the owner Marcus made contact and explained that a personal loss in his life was the root of the issue. While I can’t confirm this and don’t require it, i do believe in giving the benefit of the doubt and second chances.
Groupon ended up being even more of headache, but Marcus made it right and the car is being tinted as we speak. So, I’m leaving this review sight unseen, and will only update again with pics to show the end result.

I’ve called this business for 3 days straight and can’t get them to answer the phone or call me back. I even stopped by the location 2 times and the door was locked during business hours. Guess they don’t need my business.

5÷4÷15: The owner of the company followed up with me and apologized about the lack of communication. He explained he had a death in the family (and company founder) and genuinely seemed apologetic. I’m adding one star to my first review for following up with my issue,

HQ window tinting is the worst company that I’d ever had to deal with. They claim a lot of dealer references but they completely messed up my interior tony brand new car. First off the took over three hours to tint my windows when I was quoted 2. Then when I got my car back, I noticed that every door panel was dented. The installer said that he did it and that it was the squeegee they used but not to worry about it. It would go away Amin a week. Three weeks passed and I called him weekly and he said the same thing. He also told me that if it did t go away he had an interior guy that would take care of it. When he showed him the pictures he told me that the interior guy couldn’t fix it and instructed me to get a quote from VW. I did and they told me that each door panel needed to be replaced. It was for over 2200 dollars. Th company dogged my calls for two days and finally got back to me and told me they would fix it. They said it would cast them 4 free tintings and the wouldn’t take that loss. I kept asking them if they were insured and they said they were but never provided me a name and kept telling me they’d get back to me. If you care about your car don’t send it to them! After my review and after an message blaming a competitor for their ills the owner had this admission:
«So they actually said if you’re a Groupon customer, you have a 2 week wait time? Your post isn’t clear. Of course normal customers get priority over Groupon customers. You know how Groupon operates, right? The businesses lose a –huge– cut.»
This establishment expects Groupon customers to accept less quality service without disclosing it in their Groupons. Its clear that the owner does not have a clue.
My original experience below:
Bought a Groupon for this place and called to reserve a time for them to apply tint to my car. There was never an appointment earlier than 2 weeks. A lot can change in 2 weeks and no one can reasonably plan that far out in advance.
The lack of availability is self created by this establishment. They make a distinction between those who purchase the Groupon offers and those that don’t. The latter group is favored because they pay more while the Groupon purchasers are treated less favorably. The employee on the phone also added «if we just allowed Groupon customers to schedule at the expense of our non Groupon customers we would go bankrutpt.»
Groupon customers must wait 2 weeks or more while regular customers are serviced immediately.
I cancelled my Groupon and got a refund. Groupon felt I was treated unfairly.
I have no problem with a policy that favors non Groupon customers over Groupon customers as long as its disclosed on the Groupon purchase page. I can’t complain if I knew the policy and what my Groupon actually buys.
I feel this is my most important post yet. I can’t blame Kalani M. Her experience seems consistent with the experience I had.
Wouldn’t be surprised if the owner was also a strip club owner. His policies of fleecing the customer are as bad as the treatment that strippers have to go through. Google stripper settlement to understand what I’m talking about.
Now High Quality Window Tinting you will go bankruptcy but its not because of Groupon.

I brought my 07 Tahoe to get tinted my full car windshield and all and when I got in the car there was a bunch of dust and scratches on the film. I waited three days rolled my windows down to be welcomed by a bunch of light gaps and jagged cuts so I brought it back to get retinted and still the same result very unsatisfied the owner told me that what I was expecting was a high quality window job and judging by the name I figured all window jobs from them would be HIGH QUALITY save your money and time don’t go here
