Established in 2003.

My name is Jim Nishimura, and I was formerly an Electronics Engineer in the Silicon Valley, but did a career change into Real Estate Appraising just before my first son was born.

Within 3 years I went from Appraiser Trainee to Licensed Appraiser, then to Certified Residential Appraiser.

I’ve been appraising for 12 or 13 years now, and enjoy it, and want to expand my horizons.

I like the real estate field, and a couple of years ago earned my Mortgage Loan Originator license under a brokerage (ERS Nationwide, Inc) in Sacramento.

What I love about the real estate industry is that I have an opportunity to help and advise others, whether by doing home appraisals or mortgage loans for them, or both.

I enjoy educating others about the appraisal process and how they can get a better appraised value on their homes.

Similarly, with mortgage loans, whether for a refinance or a home purchase, I take pride in being able to be their personal adviser, such as whether it’s prudent to refinance or sell and buy another place.
