An update: still as good as it gets! My project in May 2013 wasn’t as much fun as installing a sit-there-on-a-warm-evening-and-drink-sangria patio. This time I needed practical help with the lawn area next to my house that slanted toward the house, inviting rainwater to drain straight down to the basement. This called for the installation of a corrective sidewalk that would tilt the water to the central gutter and out to the street. John knew exactly what was needed– taking into account all the details involved in working around existing structures. As before, his crew was super-hardworking and as before, they willingly helped with relocating river rocks in a decorative way, and even with hacking back some of the crazy-growing ivy so that I could repurpose some stepping stones(and very nice they look in their new location, too.) As it happened, we had a heavy rain soon after the work was done, so I was able to immediately see that the sidewalk drained perfectly, and solved my «underhouse wetness» problem. Now that I think of it, when winter comes and I’m sitting inside sipping a hot toddy, I will be able to enjoy some sit-there-and-feel-secure-about-the-condition-of-my-basement fun. That’s good too. THANKSJOHN and CREW.
