Established in 1990.

Ken Smalley Insurance agency was established in Sacramento in 1990. Our original office was in Rancho Cordova and we moved to Fulton Ave in 1995. We have been at our current location in the Arden Area (across the street from Arden Fair Mall behind El Torito Restaurant) since 2000.

Every member of our team is customer focused and we strive to provide all of our clients with the advice and guidance that they need to be properly protected by the wealth of insurance products that we offer including auto, home, life, business, health and financial services.

Ken has been an agency owner with Farmers Insurance since 1990. He is a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Personnel & Industrial Relations and after graduating from Syracuse he worked in the tech industry (Hewlett-​Packard) for 5 years.

Ken has developed a loyal customer base by offering customized insurance solutions based on a customer’s personal needs. He is a firm believer in providing annual reviews to assure that your insurance is adjusted as you experience changes in your household and/​or business.

From auto to business to 529 plans for the kids were set. He checks in regularly and follows close behind your policy for any updates and/​or changes. I had to leave a review for ken. My husband and I own our own business and had had some horrible experiences with insurance brokers! So I was reluctant when Ken came in and said he could help. For 3 months he stayed in contact with me and took SO MUCH TIME to explain everything and answer my many many questions! I never felt like we were being pushed and I never felt like he was in a hurry when speaking with us. Which I really appreciate! Aside from his great customer service he really did an awesome job at hearing what we needed and wanted and finding the best fit in insurance for us. He is well deserving of a 5 star review. As a business owner I know how important your customers are and ken treated us the way we treat our customers and I feel like that is becoming a rare quality!
