I have had this firm represent me through a divorce and Roger Kosla has really been great. My case was to be a slam dunk till husband turned it into a nightmare. I tend to get a little up in arms and Roger always seemed to calm me down. I am very pleased with the way Roger has handled everything that has come at him in my case. Excellent firm!

This law firm has absolute horrible representation. My attorney David Foos is most lazy and unreliable attorney I have ever met. He didn’t lift a single finger and had his assistant do all of the work which ended up affecting me negatively because they kept losing all of my files and did not request my medical records correctly as he was supposed to so in the end I ended up losing my case and having to settle for a very small amount. David of course still took his fee because he is only concerned about collecting money, not actually representing his clients. I will be referring him, and the firm he represents to state bar of california because my cousin just started working there and made me aware of my rights.

Called these clowns because I share the same last name. MISTAKE! Called and left message on a Monday. Never heard from them. Called on a Tuesday and they never got my original message. Made phone appointment for Wednesday. Rearranged my schedule for phone appointment and they never called. Thank goodness I found out early that this place is amateur city. Zero s

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this law firm! Of course, we’re happy and relieved we won our case and the judge granted our civil harassment restraining order. Every person I came in contact with at the firm was friendly, professional and always always helpful. Our attorney Abigail Anderson is one of the best, most caring and excellent attorneys I’ve met and I’m a former litigation secretary! Also, when we were leaving court a woman approached Miss Anderson for help… that’s how superb Miss Anderson is as a person and an exemplary attorney. Thank you to everyone at the law firm for your help with our legal issue!

In July of 2014 Roger Kosla helped me to reunite with my 11yo son who had moved with me from Sacramento to Lafayette and began to attend a middle school. Always prompt returning e-​mails and giving accurate predictions of what would happen under different legal circumstances, which are many, Roger had made the entire experience of litigation low-​stress and smooth. His office staff is courteous and on top of all the minor issues. They prepared all of my paperwork the same day that I have contacted the office and we filed for ex-​parte motion the following day.

It’s been 3 years since we came here but finally feel it’s time to share our experiance. So I would give a 0 star if I could. The attorney was Kara Keister. At first she seemed nice enough. My wife we felt was wrongfully terminated and was offered a severance package if she agreed not to pursue further legal action. We called around and we only had 24 hours to accept the package. Kara was the only attorney to that returned our calls. She consulted with my wife and made us believe that she had a strong case and even mentioned that she was working lawsuits against this company already. She instructed us to decline the severance package and that she would take our case. At first we we were under the impression she would work off of a contingency. We gave her all of my wife’s protocol binders and information my wife had as a manager. We were told to add up an amount for a demand letter and them asked to pay I think it was like 140.00 for processing of the demand letter. We both thought that was strange but she was a knight in shining armor for us and we trusted her.
We didn’t hear back for a while we called a couple times and then finally we had a response that the demand letter had been rejected. Kara then told us that we could send another demand letter at cost to us or we could file a lawsuit which we would have to pay for the court processing fees. She then started to make us believe that she didn’t have confidence in our case and basically let all the air out of our hopes.
We feel pretty deceived by her as soon as we handed over all of the protocol binders to her she became short with my wife and wasn’t very good with communication. We were going to just take the severance package and just be done with the situation but she convinced us that my wife was wronged so this drug out this awful situation and we felt she used my wife’s resources to help her other cases. We will never go to a Bowmen office again and have a bad taste in our mouths regarding lawyers in general now. We hope this review keeps someone else from being taken advantage of.

I had an incredibly stressful legal situation leaving me extremely confused as to who I should hire/​trust. My boss referred me to Sean Gavin and it was seriously the best referral ever made. Sean is smart, personable, honest and most importantly– he resolved my legal issue quickly and cheaply. I hope I never ever have legal problems again– but if I do, I know who to call.

Terrible. I had a free consultation with one of the attorneys there, which wasn’t worth the gas money I paid to get there. He barely looked me in my eye once, didn’t even look at any of the documents I brought, offered no advice or way forward. He failed to even get out of his chair when I figured it was time to leave because he wasn’t saying anything anymore. It was a beyond a joke. How they expect people to hire them based on these free consultations is beyond me.

AWESOME FIRM! Bowman & Associates is great firm with a great team. DAVID FOOS is an amazing attorney, and I would highly recommend this man to anyone. From the minute I met him, he was extremely welcoming and caring. He will listen to everything you have to say, and will make sure you understand everything that is going on. He was very accessible, and quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had. I came to Bowman & Associates for a DUI, and David Foos was able to get my entire case dismissed, as well as, restore my full driving privileged. I could not have asked for a better attorney! He is extremely smart, and will do anything in his power to help you. I can never forget what David did for me and my family. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Don’t go to this law firm. I signed a contract for divorce proceedings in mid-​August 2012… by May/​June 2013 I am just finally seeing a draft settlement agreement. This was a non-​contested divorce too which means we knew exactly how we were splitting everything, all they had to do was draft it in legal form.
I’m finally finished with the divorce (February 2014!!!) and I just got a bill from this office for over $ 2k, even though they were well aware I had ARAG legal insurance. I called and asked why they were billing me and they said that my ARAG membership had been terminated. I knew that was wrong so I called ARAG immediately and they confirmed my membership was still active and that the fees are fully covered. So, I have a feeling that they never actually called ARAG… but even if they had, they should have called me before sending off a bill! Geez, how about some customer service?
I took a look at the itemized bill and they charged me over $ 300 because the original attorney who I had signed with left the office (I’m sure for good reason) so a new attorney took over… they charged me for his time to review my file. This should be a cost to the office, not to the client since I had nothing to do with the change of attorneys.
With all of the competition out there I’d suggest finding a better office to handle your legal matters. This place is a total wreck.

He’s always been there to answer the phone and provide advice, drastically lowering my stress level and anxiety. He was right, it takes a little time, but our court arrangement is finally both in the best interest of my son and fair to me.

I wanted to get will and trust done so I visited Robert Bowman Folsom office since it was at a convenient location. I met with Ken Torkelson at folsom office. I wanted the trust to be done in a month urgently. When I met the attorney, the attorney promised to get the trust done in a month. I did not hear anything for couple of weeks and I was concerned about progress. I called folsom office multiple times and each time the office promised donot worry trust will be done in time.
Its almost three months there is no news from them.
I wish they would have let me know I had gone with other attornies.
I also had to extend my coverage for another year and it costed me money because of them.
Very unreliable, careless, and unprofressional.
I will stay away from this office at all cost…
