The worst towing company ever lazy lady there that won’t even come the the window to talk I won’t recommend anybody

A week after my car had been stolen I received a voicemail from the highway patrol that my vehicle was found and being towed to LJ’s towing where I can pick it up. It is unfortunate that this is how our system works, that instead of the police contacting me to pick it up they send it to a towing yard where I will have to pay for the tow pick up and the fee’s for each day it is there. This is out of my control and I understand that this is how it works. I was very skeptical going in to pick up my car after hearing horror stories of tow companies and how they try to scam you. But my experience was unlike the horror stories. The employees looked rough around the edges but they were human, they work with the public all day long who want to pick fights with them and call them names just for doing their job which changing policies for angry customers is out of their control. The woman at the front helped me get what I needed and handed me to guy who would take me to my car. He was very friendly and understanding, he also gave me advice to contact my insurance for them to reimburse me for the towing fees, which I did not know I could do. The tow pick up and over the weekend charges racked up to be $ 400, it sucks but its how companies survive. If you go in with an open and understanding mindset I am sure you will leave in a better mood than if you were to go in ready to chew them out for only doing there job.

We’re at the l&J towing tow yard and the person inside was extremely rude. my friend who just got out of the hospital was made to go out and pick her stuff up out of her car by herself with internal bleeding and the douchebag behind the counter had no sympathy whatsoever. If you get into an accident or you need a tow refuse to deal with these people at all they are a bunch of low life jailbirds scumbags that you do not want to have dealing with your car

Quoted 195 for a 15 minute point to point. What a joke. Hung up on me when I couldn’t believe the 300% market rate they wanted.

Hope their service is better than their drivers.

Extremely rude people. Their driver was driving absolutely RECKLESS cutting off cars, making illegal u-​turns, flipping people off. When we called in regards to it, got put on hold and then got told «they were on their way to a law enforcement call ma’am» SO?! How does that excuse reckless driving? We almost got hit twice with our 2 year old in the car! Absolutely unacceptable!!!

LJ’s Towing is trying to extort over $ 2,000.00 for a $ 90 tow. My car was totaled in September, and used this company to take the wreckage for disposal. I released my keys and title to Ed the driver and assumed all was fine. I now have received collection letters and the management team is rude, unresponsive and condescending. I spoke with Steve (he refused to provide a last name). This manager refused to provide me with the owners name or a viable solution to rectify this matter. Use this service at your own risk. Never assume that these individuals will be upfront or honest… If you have towing needs, you’d be better served by using an alternate vendor

These guys are pretty nice and generous, a little gruff, but what can you expect from a tow yard? The helped my fraternity (OX UC Davis) host a our annual philanthropy event, Car Bash, by furnishing us with a old car plus towing to and from our house free of charge. We beat the car up and they took it away.
As a result we had a very successful recruitment season. Thanks LJ’s!

This place is the worst tow yard in sacramento county. These guys are crooks. Rude A**holes. If your car is in their yard get it out ASAP. They will try to keep it longer to rack up storage charges.
