Amazing cheap boba bubble tea, i love the snow here. Blueberry, avocado, passion fruit, taro, and many others are all amazing. They also cook their boba really well, just the right texture and size. Its also connected to lollibowl which is major key. Bless up

Not every Lollicup has the same prices and this location has calamari for $ 3.50! And they give you a decent amount of calamari. The only thing I didn’t like about it is their new dipping sauce. It’s more of a bbq based sauce now and not the original red sweet and sour sauce. Don’t know if they still offer the old sauce but I didn’t bother to ask. The younger lady that spoke fluent English was super nice as well. Well, to me that is. Lol but then again, the other customers buying were pretty rude so I can understand why she was giving them the cold shoulder. I would too I always get a passion fruit black tea. This specific location makes them a little too sweet for my taste but it’s still good after I let the ice melt down.

Only went here because it was the only boba shop open at 10 am. Ordered 2 boba drinks to reach the $ 5 minimum or you get charged 50 cents for using a card. I ordered the Royal Milk tea and Green Milk tea. Lady said both would be less sweet than the Almond Milk tea. I don’t like overly sweet so I was like alright awesome! Reflecting on my boba choices I’d be scared to order the Almond Milk tea, because both the Green Milk tea and Royal Milk tea tasted like pure syrup. Didn’t get a good tea flavor at all. Additionally the Royal Milk tea definitely tasted like a regular Milk tea. Could not in any way be considered a Royal Milk tea. I threw both away. Not worth drinking.

My favorite location!!! They have perfected the boba to a tea!(Pun intended lol) Majority of my visits here they are super busy but the quality of their drinks are worth the wait and it’s always entertaining to see what early 2000s music videos are playing each time. If you’re in need of a caffeine fix, I highly recommend the large peach green tea with boba! The pomegranate slush with pomegranate popping pearls is also a yummy sweet treat! Can’t ever drink a small otherwise it’s gone in like two sips! Have not yet tried their snow treats so I definitely need to do so on my next visit cause they always look so mouth watering.

This review is for the Roasted Oolong Tea I had today. This drink taste like any other milk tea, but it has a «roasted» taste to it(if that make any sense). I don’t recommend this drink. My drink was water down and it wasn’t sweet enough. The grass jelly was too thick and big. If you want a similar drink like this one, I recommend going to Cool Tea Bar & order their Roasted Milk Tea. Other than that the only drink I loveeee from this place is the strawberry yogurt with lychee jelly. Super yummy, thick & sweet!

Lollicup was the first to introduce me to the deliciousness that is boba. Since the early 2000’s, this location has gone through a couple of renovations. The new Lollicup not only updated their décor, but also improved their customer service. I always order a Honeydew Milk Tea with mixed jelly. I remember I used to taste the powder mix, but since their makeover, all I taste is the yummy artificial flavoring of creamy honeydew lol. The boba here is very fresh and has the perfect consistency. I’ve never had a single complaint about their boba. In my opinion, this location has the best popcorn chicken. I always ask for mine to be extra crispy, and it’s perfect every time. This location is definitely a good and safe bet when looking to satisfy your boba or popcorn chicken cravings.

I’ve tried their taro milk tea, passion fruit tea, chocolate milk te, mango milk tea, regular milk tea, and honeydew milk tea! All of their flavors are great as well as their service and price! Actually today I got their large passion fruit tea with black boba! And guess what? The price after tax was $ 3.50!!! Such a good deal! If you’re looking for a delicious boba drink with a good price, I suggest you go here instead of cool tea bar, tapioca express, bambu, etc.

I wouldn’t recommend their calamari. No more than 10 minutes after me and my boyfriend ate it we had horrible stomach aches

Came here ordered popcorn chicken and calamari and they put it in the SAME box! That’s something you never do, we have people who can’t eat seafood. Came home and thought they forgot the calamari cause who would have thought its in the same box as the chicken so I went back and they told me its in the same box. I asked why would they ever mix those two together and the worker said it was a misunderstanding. Instead of frying me new chicken and calamari just separated the calamari from the chicken. Didn’t even offer to make new food. Called and complained and all they said was sorry. Asked to speak to the manager and all they kept telling me was the manger isn’t there, asked when they will be there and the worker just said«sorry it’s too loud I can’t hear you» and hung up. Also, ordered a drink and realized it wasnt sealed all the way so it was leaking. BADCUSTOMERSERVICE!

Service was mediocre, we asked the cashier three times if they had matcha green tea and it took three times for him to respond, he was more focused on staring at the cashier. Given that Sacramento is having tremendous burst of boba tea spots, this place has a lot of room to refine their drinks. All three of my girls got different drinks and my kids said they couldn’t drink it because it was just too sweet. We are huge advocates of boba teas for our kids and love taking them to try new places. I suppose we are spoiled by other boba drinks that permits variation in sweetness and also more authentic tea flavors. My girls drinks tasted nothing more than artificial flavoring, sugar, and ice. First and last time, I’m better off at other cafes.

I love this Lollicup because it was one of the few boba places around back in the day. I remember getting the slushes here all the time! I like their avocado slushes the best! The service is very good. Although there are so many closer boba places, I still prefer Lollicup over many of the new ones not only because of the better tasting drinks but also because of the familiar, nostalgic environment.

With all these new boba places popping up in South Sacramento, this is still one of the better ones. Drinks are standard and not too complicated like some of the trendier places. Prices are reasonable. I like this this is a no frills type of place. There’s no obnoxious furniture, no complicated menu, and it’s quick.

Overall, I like this Lollicup better than the one on Bruceville Rd. So I give this place 5⁄5 stars. Their Thai tea snow, Taro snow and Honeydew slush are always on point whenever I order one from them. HOWEVER, I would like to express my opinion about their Mangonadas… I suggest people to just stick with the Mangonadas made by those people who sell them in front of schools(I’ve seen a couple by Samuel Kennedy Elementary and Florin High) or the people who push around their cute little cart around neighborhoods. You know what I’m talking about, right? Based on my experience, my Mangonada was straight up spicy. It tasted like watered down hot sauce even though it was clearly blended with a mango slush. It was topped with cubed mangos, but they weren’t ripe so they were too hard to eat. It didn’t have the correct balance of sweet and spicy. I feel like authentic Mangonada’s mangos are marinated in a specific sauce to give it more flavor. Lollicup does not do that. I heard many good things about Lollicup’s Mangonada. I was surely disappointed and left with a really bad stomach ache after drinking 1⁄10th of the cup.

My sister, cousin, and I weren’t planning to come here but we were having the munchies so we decided to come here. We were looking forward to the popcorn chicken and calamari. Sadly we left with disappointment. I don’t know if its because we walked in with a Cool Tea Bar drink that caused the employees to stare us down. It made me feel uneasy and unwelcome. Way to treat your customers lol. On top of that when we got our snacks, there was barely any calamari and both the calamari and popcorn chicken’s seasoning was inconsistent. I wanted spicy but ended up getting the regular floured popcorn chicken. The snacks used to be better, but overall it was okay. Honestly I was going to give this place 4 stars from the last time I was here but this experience was a killer. 2 stars for the customer service

Urghh so sad this place is one of my favorite places to go to for boba but recently it went downhill in terms of taste. Unless I feel adventurous but I usually order number 13 which is the mocha milk tea here because it has a perfect blend of chocolatey goodness and coffee in this drink for me. But recently(actually today) when I went to get that drink to fulfill my craving, it tasted so bland and no chocolate at all! I suspect maybe the cashier misheard my order but I said«number 13» more than twice so unless he can’t understand that then there really is no excuse. Still bummed about my drink :(but I’ll come back for the ice snow they added pretty recently.

Horrible customer service. I had exact change for my drink and they would not accept my dollar bill because a tiny corner was ripped. If you have over half of a bill it is considered legal tender. They were rude about it and I left with no drink. So ridiculous, just lost a customer. I’m going to miss the honeydew milk tea but I’ll never give them my money again. There are other places in sac that are just as good, and are friendly.

This location is in conjunction with Lollibowl. Delicious drinks and dessert here while enjoying a nice hot noodle soup or rice plate at Lollibowl. Every time I finish a meal at Lollibowl, I always drop by Lollicup for a quick dessert. After the remodeling back in fall of 2013, this place looks a lot more spacious and modern! They also added new items to their menu. Unlike most other Lollicup locations, this one here serves shaved ice! Great treat for this hot summer. The shaved ice comes in multiple flavors, off the top of my head I recall Green Tea, Mango, and Taro. I am a huge fan of Taro so I got the taro flavored shaved ice with popping mango jello. Man oh man… this shaved ice just melts the second it touches your tongue. The cold and sweet sensation from it is such a bliss! I come to this location for just the drinks on numerous occasions, but now that they have something even cooler for this hot summer. I’ll be back for the other flavors soon! :P My favorite drink from this location is the taro/coconut milk tea. I ask to get a blend of the two because they just compliment each other so well in flavor. When it is made with any modifications, the drink is a tad bit sweet for my liking. I always ask them to make my drinks«Less Sweet» and they will cut back on the sugar for you. This modification makes the drink better tasting(for me at least) and also eases my mind about not consuming as much sugar as I would have with no modifications. :) Customer service here is wonderful. I have ran into just about all of the staffs working here but there was one who stood out with her jolly attitude, that would be Iris. I often ask if she’s working when I’m here but regardless of her serving me or not I still enjoy coming here for my milk tea!

I was delightfully surprised by lollicup. I kinda made a meh face when I was craving boba and Unilocaled that this was the nearest location at the time. I’m a huge fan of purple kow in the bay and nothing is comparable to that out here. Anyhoo, I really needed to satisfy my craving and ended up here. The location was über clean and the people working there were super quick and efficient. I looked down the hall and saw a noodle joynt attached to lollicup. I’ve never seen that before. Great idea. I ordered my usual milk tea with boba. The boba was overcooked and super soft… but the tea was decent. I’m glad there was a parking lot which made it easy to grab n go. 3 stars.

Jasmine milk tea is my personal favorite hot or cold when chrysanthemum tea isn’t available. The jamine milk tea here was more milk than tea. I like an equal balance. It was bland and unflavorful, a little dissapointed. There are new popping bobas now with juice filled in it. It bursted In my mouth alright! Not My cup of tea. I’d rather go to quicklys on broadway or tapioca express across the street for more varieties of tea with more flavorful.

1st time lollicustomer. Browsed the menu. Asked what friends were ordering. Browsed the menu again. Grass jelly milk tea. Large. $ 3.24+tax. Order up– 2 minutes later. Sipped. Thrist quenched. In the end, I was left with just the grass jelly – didn’t taste good w/o the milk tea. Actually, the grass jelly from canned drinks tasted better: p I decided to fish them out anyways, gotta get your moneys worth, rioght? I think the grass jelly was teasing me, saying«you aint ready fo’ dis jellay!» as they were slipping from the straw.(T___T) I sampled some popcorn chicken and calamari from my friends(I wanted to order my own, but only had a 5& my card(cards can only be used on purchases $ 10+)). They were both delish and reasonably priced($ 3.50), but the wait time took forev’s! My friends were getting antsy & growing weary. shaking the table & muttering«Where my chicken at?!» Overall, service was decent, food/drinks are good & reasonably priced. They just need to get it together in the food department: p
