Monkey Glue Lighting & Confetti

Anne thank you so much! You and Ron did a wonderful job making our wedding events special. From our stage to our lighting everything turned out great!

Ron is one of the most stand up people I have ever done business with. I organized a concert for a 2000 capacity room and the musician’s flight got cancelled last minute and we had to cancel the show. All of the lighting (well over $ 1000 in contracted lighting equipment and labor from Monkey Glue) was already COMPLETELY set up and Ron’s crew had spent several hours doing so.
When I explained to him the situation, without even a second thought, Ron told me he wouldn’t charge me ANYTHING for all the work they had already done as long as we agreed to book them for the rescheduled date. Monkey Glue had no obligation to accommodate in this way, and I can reasonably assume Ron actually lost money on the event due to paying his labor for set up – just for the sake of helping me out.
I have very, very rarely received this level of customer service and as a result, will be a life long customer of Monkey Glue. Ron has also helped me out numerous times when I was in a last minute pinch.

Anne & Ron are tops in the field of lighting and the confetti cannons are a total must for any party. I can’t wait to see what they come up with for this year at the Vampire Ball! So excited!

Ron and his team helped me with an urgent, last minute need when our company was hosting a high-​level political figure. Ron jumped into action quickly, visited our site to perform an assessment, provided an estimate, and he and his crews showed up on time and produced a professional set-​up for our event — it was perfect. It was so easy to work with Ron, and his talent spans the spectrum of putting on a low-​key and subdued production all the way to a large, festive atmosphere.

I have depended on Ron and his team for many years. I find Ron to be a wonderful partner in our event plans, helping bring value and excitement to each environment. Ron is the exact kind of business-​person you want to work with, honest, direct and creative! Rock On Ron!

Our relationship started off great, but ended in me writing this review. Anne has always been wonderful to work with, but the owner is a different story. I hired this company to install gobo lighting on the ceiling of our wedding tent and showed up at our wedding to find the lights on the floor shooting up on the ceiling (opposite of what was paid for and contracted). I called them to discuss this and was yelled at by the owner, told that he didn’t care what the contract said– he was going by what someone at the venue told him to do (what is a contract for if he’s listening to random ppl?), and very rudely hung up on after he told me he was going to charge me MORE money. I would NEVER recommend this company and warn everyone of this experience!!! Customer service is everything and the service I received is appalling!

I have been working with Monkey Glue for many years as the sole lighting designer for many of my school plays. Not only is Ron a genius lighting designer but his philanthropic nature is so appreciated year after year. It’s no wonder he has won 4 Elly Awards for our productions. Without a doubt best lighting design company in the region.

Ron, Anne and their team at Monkey Glue are awesome!!! They helped me in so many ways from lighting up venues to stages and concert lighting at charity events. These guys are great to work with and will give you the best advice on what lighting to use in specific venues. Need lighting, call these guys!

Anne and Ron are amazing. I have had them do my bistro lighting for an annual party for a few years. I decided to purchase the lights and try to hang them myself to save money. Well, my lights came crashing down as I was trying to hang them! It was MUCH harder than it looked. I called Anne. She was swamped with weddings and totally booked. But dropped everything to come out and help me herself. They spent 3 hours rescuing me and saving my party! Money well spent. They are fabulous. So creative, professional, hard working. I would recommend them to anyone. There is no better lighting company. I didn’t realize they do full event staging. I will definitely be using them for my next event.

As an organization, Power Inn Alliance, we have used Monkey Glue for years as our main staging vendor for our annual events. We have been very pleased with the dedicated staff — especially Anne and Ron. They are two of the most dedicated people to their craft and ensure the details are top priority. I have no complaints about their work or the people who assist them. I cannot wait to add their bubble machine to the 2014 Picnic at the Park! The kids will love it!

Monkey glue was hired to do the lighting at our wedding. They gave us a great deal but when it came time for our event they never showed. Monkey glue did however send us an apology letter and $ 100 gift card to a restaurant to make up for the lost reservation.
