I started in the locksmith business working for my Father while going to college in Phoenix, AZ in 1969. I learned by OJT. On The Job Training. I purchased the business in 1973 and grew it into 3 locations. I eventually settled in Sacramento, CA and established Natomas Lock & Key in 1998.

He is rude. He interrupted me many times. Would not let me finish what I had to say. I did not end up using him therefore I can’t speak for his skills as a locksmith. The attitude was enough to turn me away. Sheesh.

Called Natomas Lock & Key because of all the great reviews. Had an emergency situation and needed 6 locks rekeyed in my home. Spoke to Bob who met me at my home after his normal hours. Bob was great, did the work promptly and even played with my dog. I can definitely say Bob is my new locksmith!

Excellent service and fast! My 91 yr old father was locked out of his house due to a broken latch. Bob answered our call himself and was at the house in 15 min. We thought we would have to buy a new latch but Bob repaired the existing mechanism good as new. So glad to have found an excellent local locksmith.

Bob was great! He came out in 30 minutes, rekeyed my new house to all one key (7 locks). Charged a $ 50 service fee and $ 12.50 per lock. $ 2. Per extra key. It was fast, friendly and affordable! Thank you Bob and Natomas Lock and Key!

Bob was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He came to my house within 2 hours of my call and had my broken deadbolt fixed in 15 minutes. He even suggested we test all of my other locks.

Bob is a really nice guy. We called him this morning and he came out a little bit after noon. We were interested in adding an additional deadbolt to our door and he found them unnecessary. He stated that our doors were strong enough and he wouldn’t add one to his home.
What he did do to our current deadbolt lock is he reinforced it with longer screws so they are firmly in the stud. He did that with all the doors to our house otherwise he found that our locks were suffient and safe.
He definitely didn’t try to upsell us with additional work and only charged us for work that he thought was necessary. He isn’t rude, rather he is very straightforward. Bob tells you what he thinks keeps his answers short and sweet.
Would use him again if I ever had to!

Bob was fantastic! He was able to come out to my storage unit immediately and remove the disk lock that I’d misplaced the key to. $ 50 service call, $ 30 for the removal — which was not easy. $ 80 out the door, and it was super duper fast. Best possible outcome :)

We just bought a house and needed our property to be re-​keyed. I called a few other locksmith but Natomas Lock & Key was the only one who came out right away. Bob arrived early and on time! A++ in my book for arriving early since I had to leave to run errands. He re-​keyed four doors. He was patience, work efficiently, and got it done fast! We recently moved and needed our new property re-​keyed. I decided to give Bob a call and scheduled some time with him. Pricing was competitive with other locksmiths that we called, but Bob was available and worked into our schedule nicely. He came and re-​keyed 6 locks and even helped us adjust our strike plate for one of our door knobs. Bob was very quick and professional.

Great service! Excellent! I was referred to Natomas Lock & Key by a real estate agent I know. Real Estate agents always know the best locksmith’s! We had a minor emergency at our place of business in Carmichael-​and had to have the locks re-​keyed, very late in the afternoon on a Sunday. The owner, Bob, picked up my call himself. You don’t want answering machines or answering services when you need a locksmith! He took my information and came out himself –within 30 minutes. He expertly re-​keyed our business and made copies of the keys for our staff-​right there on site. All at a very reasonable price. What a sigh of relief. We are very happy with our service and will continue to use and refer people to Bob! Thanks again for excellent service!
