We are both self employed and were first-​time home buyers looking for a multi-​family house where we could live and rent in the midtown area to be purchased with an FHA. We met with several lenders seeking a professional who was a creative thinker and knowledgable in all aspects of our situation.
Most lenders we met with could only see a short distance with our lending situation as they weren’t knowledgable enough about the ins and outs of owner occupied multi-​family homes vs FHAs. Dawn, in contrast, was experienced, skilled and determined. She knew how to make it work and after leaving our initial meeting with her we were finally excited and optimistic that we had found the right person who could help us achieve our goal.

I wish I had the great experience that everyone else did. I called them and they took my information and said they would run some numbers then call me back to set an appointment. It has now been a month and after me emailing them, I have still not heard back. I am now going with a different company who actually responds back to me and treats me like a person.

My wife and I just bought our first house together and did our financing with Mindy at Neighbors. When we decided to buy a house, we met with several different mortgage companies and immediately felt that working with Mindy would be a great experience. Throughout the process, she consistently proved that we had made the right choice. I always felt that Mindy had our best interests at heart and never felt that she was getting frustrated with me, even though I was needy, had a lot of anxiety about the whole process, and would text and call her at all hours of the day and night. My review is way over due Mindy Minnis is the best me and my boyfriend purchased a home through them August of last year. We didn’t know a lot about purchasing a home were in our early 20s and she was so helpful. It was a long journey getting us to close on the house because my credit score wasn’t the best. Not only were we first time home buyers, but we were out of state and had a laundry list of programs we wanted to take advantage of. Jennifer had thorough knowledge of every program we were interested in; she made good recommendations when we didn’t know what to do; and she demonstrated endless patience and grace in helping us from start to finish.
We interviewed several loan consultants at other companies prior to connecting with Jennifer Martell, and after talking with her we knew she could help us get into the home we wanted. He never pushes you into something you are uncomfortable with, just because you qualify. He started by coming to my house and filling out the application with me. My wife and I found NFC online and sent an email to inquire about their mortgage products. Within 15 minutes of send the email Lyle responded offering to meet with us. In our first meeting he asked us why were interested in a home, what monthly payment we were comfortable with and where we wanted to buy.
