Old Country Tailor

I try to do all of my own clothing repairs. But the fabric on my coat was like stainless steel. I just couldn’t get the sewing needle in.
First time experience using Old Country Tailor. A simple job, tacking a belt loop and an arm button back on. It’s a favorite coat, so I was hoping for an excellent repair. I was pleased with the service and the cost. I’ll definitely use their service again.

I am a professional and regularly need to alter clothing. I’ve had a lot of experience with alterations and the ladies here do a wonderful job. It is consistently good quality work. But, and it’s a big but, the prices have gone up so much that I have decided to only use them when I absolutely have to, and to buy fewer items that need alterations (I used to not worry if an item needed adjustment). As an example of the pricing, I had 2 pairs of pants hemmed and tapered and the cost was $ 85. That is simply not acceptable.

I just picked up a dress that I dropped off with a broken zipper and couldn’t be happier with the quality of work and the customer service. The garment was an unusual shade and I was worries a match could not be found. When I saw the finished dress I couldn’t believe how great it looks! I’ll be bringing my business here from now on.

I had a great experience taking a dress of mine here for alterations. She had me try the dress on to make sure it was going to be pinned up exactly where I wanted it. I dropped the dress off on a Thursday and it was available for pickup the following Tuesday. She had me try the dress on one more time at pick up to make sure that it fit the way I wanted and it was perfect! You could never tell that the dress wasn’t already that length! Great job!

Great service and an amazing fit. Thanks for the great job ladies. My suit was completely taken from an «old man» fit since it was the perfect color to a great fitting modern slim fit.

I’m super short, 4’9, so I have to get a lot of my things tailored. Before I knew about this place I would avoid it because of the cost and the hassle, but this place is so awesome! They’re prices are AMAZING and they’re service is great too! It’s like being surrounded by sweet aunts who fix your clothes perfectly. I’m never going anywhere else.

I like this tailor, but sometimes the prices are a little high. Their work is great quality, but still overpriced. I spent more money getting the straps on my dress shortened than I spent on the dress. I brought a dress in for darting, I made the mistake of not trying the dress on before I left. It just fit weird… I can’t explain it. I was bummed because I couldn’t return the dress, and the darting and hem cost more than my dress (again)… It’s great place to bring things in for hems, or other simple things.

The lady at the counter fixed my zipper, was super sweet, and didn’t even charge me!!! I will definitely use this company again for all my alteration needs!

Wow $ 11 and 15 minutes and my nephews pants are hemmed for Senior ball! Thank you Old Country Taylor :) fabulous job!!! And they look perfect!

I had my wedding dress altered here, it was a silk slip with lace overlay and I requested major work done to the top… neck line re-​shaped, the shoulder pieces taken in thinner and re-​shaped, the side seams taken in, and the french bustle added… not only was it INCREDIBLY affordable (I paid around $ 300, for all that LACE work!), they were amazingly quick with the job and were so easy to work with!

They did a fantastic job on a suit I needed to alter just one week prior to the date (so basically if they didn’t do it right, I’d have to wear it regardless to my friend’s wedding) as I was part of the Groom’s wedding party. Cost wasn’t the cheapest out there but they were the only ones accommodating of my tight schedule and I’m glad I went with them. Really great staff and nice as well. Would definitely come back, just the price could be better but I understand since it’s a local business they need to stay above overhead and all. Wish I could do 4.5 Stars!

These folks do AWESOME work!!! I’ve taken everything from slacks to motorcycle racing leathers and never been disappointed. Reasonably priced and fast turn around. Highly recommended!

I had such a wonderful experience with Old Country Tailor! I took in two pairs of pants to be hemmed and one dress for alterations. She had me try everything on to make sure we pinned it just right. One week later, I picked up perfectly fitting clothes. Everything was professionally altered — you can’t tell the garments did not come like that.
About a week later my fiancé needed his pants mended. They fixed them in 20 minutes. Incredible!
They prefer debit or cash, and you pay either all or half of the total when you drop off the clothes. It was $ 10 to hem pants and $ 20 to shorten a multi-​layered dress. Great prices!

I went here based on Unilocal reviews. Easy to find. Parking available in front and on side. Very elegant inside and very nice ladies. Came Here To Get My Work Slacks Hemmed Because They Were A Tad Too long. Waited about 30 minutes or less, and it was done. Tried it on and one side was actually a little bit longer. She fixed it. No problem. Another 5 minutes. $ 11 total regardless of the little fix. Would definitely go there again. Thanks Vera :)

I created a Unilocal account JUST for these ladies :) I’ve never had anything tailored, but I’m about to get married and well, that needed to happen!
My dress was a corset back and when I bought the dress, a woman was taking my measurements and I told her to please add a few inches to the bust because I had a planned breast augmentation, and at the time, I was completely flat!
I picked up my dress and went over to Old Country tailor probably a few months later, just needing it hemmed. WELLLL… Put the dress on and it wasn’t even closing at the top, because of the boobs! Clearly, the girl did not leave room because it seriously wasn’t even close to shut. One of the ladies at Old Country said she could take the «panel», just a little flap thing that allows you to be able to adjust the corset without your skin showing. Anyway, within a week she moved it over and all was okay! It fit and then we were good to go with the hemming, which also only took a week.
All together this was only $ 100 I believe. $ 45 to move the flap and then I think like $ 60 or $ 65 for the hemming. They were fast, extremely helpful, and thankfully didn’t break the bank! 100% recommend them!

Came here once before to get my work pants hemmed. So, I decided to come back again for two more work pants to get hemmed in addition to re-​hem my husband’s pants. In addition, I brought three of my winter peacoats to have some of the buttons re-​sewn tighter and one button entirely re-​sewn on. The women are quietly busy working. The lady who helped me was quite nice & patiently listened to all my needs. This is place to come in drop off your items let the women know what you want specifically done to your garments & leave. It will get done in a timely manner. No time for chit-​chat, these women are on a time restraint! I was pleased with the services they have provided. I recommend anyone to come here first to get their garments tailored.

I first came here in January to get my future mother-in-law’s dress pants tailored. (I know I know — trying a new alterations place with your future mother-in-law’s valued pants — risky, but it’s close to where I yoga! lol) It’s an easy job so I figured they can’t mess up (that bad), or at least if they did, it’s an indication not to return. They did a good job. Regular pants alterations are around $ 11.
Second time here, I brought in three pairs of my jeans to get tailored. Again, superb job. They were able to re-​create the distressed seams the way the pants originally looked for a few dollars more; $ 15.
I’m now a regular here. My last big alteration was my wedding dress. They did an amazing job! She quoted me $ 110 but told me it may be more because of all the intricate details of the dress. When I picked up the dress I paid around ~$ 150 because of all the extra work they had to put into it. There’s a lot of hand stitching for the bead work and they were able to keep the aesthetic and details as it was before, just that the dress fits perfectly now! She even added extra hooks so that my dress would zip up easier.
I highly recommend this place!
Just a note on the service: They are really busy here. The Russian ladies are sweet, but don’t expect exceptional service. It’s more in-​and-​out. No chit-​chat or nonsense. Tell them what you need, when you need it by, and it’ll get done.

I trusted my fellow Unilocalers and took my bridesmaid dress here to get it altered. I was slightly disappointed because I spent $ 114 on alterations and I was not completely satisfied with how my dress fit afterwards. I don’t think I will use this place again.

The best tailoring experience I have ever had!
I took my lace sun dress into be taken in on the top. I was extremely hesitant about getting my dress tailored because it is one of my favorite dresses and the last skirt I had taken in (at another tailor) had countless problems with the taioring.
I chose this tailor after doing my Unilocal research and this seemed to be THE place.
The lady who helped me was extremely nice and asked me many times as she was pinning if it was okay.
My dress came out PERFECT! It could not look or fit any better! I am so pleased!
Prices weren’t too bad. $ 55 but my dress was lace, had lining, and boning. A lot of ways to mess it up! But it is so perfect.
AND it was done in 3 days!!! I told the lady I was in absolutely no rush and it was done in 3 days!
Im so excited to have found such an excellent tailor!
