The Beijing beef should be called the Beijing«dough» since there is no meat in it whatsoever. The food tastes old on the weekends since they probably just re-heat the old ones. Ugh every time I go here, I am disappointed.

Portion size is insulting. I paid 9 bucks for a three item and it looks like a 1.5 item plate. Either the portions need to increase or the price needs to drop. I have had this problem with both of the pandas on campus.

I’ve tried them many times at school and each time I ordered fried rice, I was completely disappointed. Their fried rice is so dry and hard. It looks like the rice is’nt cooked well enough. Part of the rice is always undercooked.

terrible service. food looked like had been sitting out for hours! the lady went to get a scoop of the orange chicken and ITWASALLSTUCKTOGETHER!!! like it had been sitting for a really long time and it all decided to congeal into one large nugget of chicken. they are understaffed, sure, but the 2 ladies they did have helping a line that was out the door worked slower and with less immediacy than a slow dancing sloth. i was almost late to class because of the line, and when i saw the old, gross chicken, that was the last straw. i left disgusted and wont ever come back. if you are really really craving panda, just go across the river to the one on watt ave.

This is my choice at Sacramento State for lunch, the service is really fast even if the lines are super long, these guys hustle. I really like the 2 entrée deal and a side. I love eating half and half mixed veggies with brown rice, and getting the sweet fire chicken breast and Beijing beef entrees. Keep in mind that during lunch times the panda express on campus gets really busy and the lines can take a while. Overall I think this food is the most healthiest if you’re looking to get some protein, greens, and grains into your diet while moving between classes. Like any other panda express they let you sample upon request.

Panda Express is good, but it’s definitely not worth the hype some others are making it out to be. I don’t know, that might just be me.

I only go here because I have night class and I want some warm food. The food is okay, they’re always about to close when I arrive before class. So most of the food is gone and some are leftovers. I tend to just order pot stickers and a soda. The employees try their best to work and clean at the same time. I’m sure I’ll return only because I’m super hungry before attending class.

Dude, there are two Panda Expresses on campus. FML. They need to replace one with a Chipotle. One Panda Express is more than enough. The food is oily, which doesn’t work well into a college student’s busy schedule where they need to be active, rather than sluggish. Don’t get me wrong, I like Panda Express when I’m starving, just not during school-time, and especially not in a college environment.

I’m pretty embarrassed to admit that I CRAVE a panda bowl every time I’m on campus. It’s a strong craving too that usually gets fulfilled. Located in the Union, it’s a convenient dinner spot for my 30 minute break in between evening classes. I always get the same thing: a panda bowl with mixed veggies and some sort of chicken entrée. Usually I get the orange chicken because that ish is tasty but since being on the diet, I’ve branched out and gotten to try the kung pao and spicy chicken – both good and lower in calories. It’s not the best food but it’s convenient and comforting since eating here has been a regular thing with my friends and I since the beginning of grad school. Good thing I’m only here once a week this semester!

Nearly impossible to eat gluten free at Panda, but I ate here(even if it wasn’t much of a meal)! I would argue that 98% of the menu contains gluten EXCEPT: white steamed rice and a couple of their sauces. The sweet & sour sauce and the plum sauce does not contain gluten. So that’s exactly what I did, I ordered white rice and got the server to give me a side of their sauce. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do. And if the company you’re eating with questions whether or not what you’re eating is filling enough tell them it isn’t! Then get them to take you out to frozen yogurt or Jamba Juice afterward: P LOL, that’s what I did.

Surprisingly, the line moves pretty fast and I was in and out in 5 minutes. The food is good but the prices are somewhat questionable. The honey walnut prawns and the Golden Treasure shrimp are(for some reason) a dollar more than the other entrée items and the person behind the counter doesn’t really scoop up that much. I get more walnuts(from the prawns) and peppers(from the golden treasure shrimp) than prawns/shrimp. If I got egg rolls or some other appetizer, they used to put it in a separate bag but now they just cram it in the same container with the rest of my food. They used to give you a bag to carry your stuff but now the only way to get one is if you ask for it directly. I appreciate how fast I can get a meal, but I’d go elsewhere if I was looking for something less than $ 10.

It’s convenient that Sac State has Panda Express. The service is good, but it gets very busy. The wait can be very long at times. I would recommend it b/c it’s in Sac State and convenient. The food is the same like every other Panda Express franchise.

This coming to Sac State was a great thing for the place. The food was good. I had steamed rice, chow mien, orange chicken, and beef and broccoli. The service was quick which gave me enough time to eat it before heading to break.

I like the fact that panda express finally opened up at sac state, especially two locations on campus for that matter(riverfront and union). I really wish that it opened sooner – being that I finish this semester – although it’s more on the fast food side, the food is good enough to eat and it is a lot better in quality than the old Chinese food place(fat’s?) it took place of. The only gripe about the locations on campus is that they seem to ration the amount of pieces you get. For example, I over heard that although I pay a dollar extra for Honey Walnut Shrimp, I still only get seven pieces? Plus the portions just plain seem smaller than what it feels like you’d normally get at another Panda Express somewhere else. +1 for location –1 for rationing portions(it’s understandable, but being a student, the more the merrier)

Mehhhhhhhh. Its Panda Express, what do you expect? Foods mediocre. I like the walnut shrimp but those walnuts taste kinda funny to me. I eat here quite a bit since its campus. Stay away during peak lunch hours because it gets really busy. Their fortune cookie fortune’s cheer me up :] BTW: Another panda just opened at riverfront, the other food court. Usually less lines + they have more food selections. P. S.S: If you want real chinese food, hit up Wings kitchen!

Just what our campus needed. Seriously. Hate to say it, but Kung Fu Fats wasn’t that great. I went to eat just because it was SOME kind of rice with some kind of Chinese food. I love Panda Express. :)

Ohhh, the hilarity of Panda Express on a college campus. I waited 40 minutes one afternoon in a line of people 50 long just to get some veggies and chow mein rather than all the other totally greasy fare on campus. The people working the counter are nice but definitely«push the sale» of beverages. For the third time, «No thank you» I don’t need a large soda for a dollar whatever more.
