Bookmarked this shop for a while and finally got a chance to visit today. Would highly recommend it! I’m impressed by the shopkeeper, very nice, funny and thoughtful. The goods are fairly reasonable. He wrapped up all the stuff I bought carefully and even got me a small gift before I left, which made my day. Walking provides so many benefits for you! For instance, you walk through midtown and you find unique stores such as this one. We found a rare tealight oil warmer (everything else we’ve seen has been the plug in type) for $ 6.99. We got lucky & came in on a day when he was having a special: no tax weekend and a free harvest basket for every $ 50 purchase! Will definitely come back to buy gifts here!

This little store is awesome and Jim (one of the owners) is wonderful. It is nice to just relax out front but inside the store you will find that you can’t leave without finding something that fits your budget for you or a friend. I love it!

I absolutely LOVE this store. I walked passed it while I was going to another store around the corner and decided to pop in. This is such a great store to find unique gifts for friends (and maybe even for yourself). They have wonderful scented soaps, unique jewelry and tons of other stuff. They have also hooked me up with gift bags free of charge! Every time I’ve been there the owner has helped me find something perfect, and overall he is such a nice, friendly guy. Love, love, LOVE this store!

I’ve been meaning to post this review since Christmas. I loved this place from the first time I walked in. Very cool, unique gift shop. Lots of variety and price points. Friendly staff and lots of care for customers. Go to place for goodies now.

You are guaranteed to find something you must have for yourself or as a great gift– especially for that someone that has everything. The prices are very reasonable! Lots of jewelry, purses/​bags, sunglasses… the owner is very friendly but not salesman-​y. Comfortable shopping experience.

Just love this store found a bunch of stuff for my son! It was like being a little kid again seeing the eclectic assortment of so much happy stuff. Absolutely amazing place with a friendly man at the counter. I just can’t say enough good things.

If you miss ETC that was at 21^st & L, you will love this place.
As soon as you walk in, you’re surrounded by all kinds of cool and whimsical items from your basic bumper sticker or fridge magnet to some unique board games and even some cool handbags.
I’m not give it all away but for such a small place, you can easily spend an hour laughing your butt off. You must go!

Wow! This place is awesome and I just discovered this gem (that’s a pun… you’ll get it if you look at the wall next to the register)! They have a large variety of gifts, cards, and, of course, dice. Everything is incredibly reasonably priced. I bought a duffel bag made from recycled rice burlap sacks from India. It was a great gift and cost less than $ 20! They also sell South Of France soap and locally made soaps for far cheaper than the co-​op, not to mention other local treasures from near and far. I think this is a great place to stop by if you’re visiting and looking for fun gifts to bring back. The lady working was also very friendly, the entire experience and environment was relaxing. I’m definitely returning.

A great place for cards and other little gifts. Much better than the typical Hallmark selection. The owners are great and support their community. We come here for cards for all occasions. They have a great selection of lotions, soaps, coffee mugs, door mats, and many other items.
If you have a sense of humor when giving cards, look no more!

Easily my favorite gift store in Sacramento (though most of the things I have bought have been for myself since they’re so great). I have been so pleased with the things I have bought, especially the items from the 3 Palms soap company. This place seems to be the only place that carries them, so I highly recommend going here at least for those soaps and lotions!

Other than the lightly misleading name (where’s the dice?) PeraDice is an awesome little gift shop right off J Street. Tons of cards, gifts, bags and wrapping for said gifts, candles, books, picture frames, games, tote bags, home décor… to use a local comparison, basically like a less crowded, more upscale version of Mixed Bag. They have some lovely jewelry up on the front counter and I love that they carry the Papaya brand of gifts and décor. I bought as birthday gift for my gay relative, a book called «Ruling With A Sequined Fist»… LOL!
The inventory is awash with funny sayings and glitter, the prices aren’t bad and the shopkeep was very friendly. PeraDice, I like the way you… roll. ;D

What a well organized store! I love the high quality cards and selection of one of kind gifts! I saw some items I want for myself but best to shop when not dealing with little ones around. Even with my two boys in tow, it was manageable. I just don’t recommend 3 or under in this store. There’s too many nice things they’ll want to touch at their eye level.
We had fun picking out a card for my brother who lives out of state. There’s lots of funny cards to choose from. I’m trying to teach my boys the value of sending a card even though we live in a technology dependent society. The art of sending a card or letter just because should never be lost.
After we bought our card, I had my boys write a few words while we enjoyed lunch at a near by restaurant. Then I popped a stamp on it and sent it in its way at a drop off mail box on the corner of K and 24^th street.
This store is a delightful place to find a journal, cards, and unique items that are classy and tasteful. I love chatting with store owner. He was very down to earth and friendly.

Very cute boutique neighborhood gift store. I went here because it is the only place in Sacramento that carries the brand Mad Gab (all natural lip balm). The owner was very personable and welcoming.

What are you expressing when you give your friend a generic gift? Pick-​up a more thoughtful gift from a midtown gift store like PeraDice, Ladybug, or Artworks 21!
Finally had the pleasure of stopping into PeraDice, where I was greeted by a little dog named Schnitzel and owner Steve! The inventory features gift cards (witty /​funny, artsy and colorful) personal items like jewelry, journals, wallets, handbags as well as home items — candles, decorations, etc. Gifts skew toward female recipients.
Prices are very affordable and quality good. Not overpriced or poorly made. The shop is a fun experience too … lots of bright color, variety and inventory for its somewhat sm-​med size. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is a hidden jewel! Right off J Street on 24^th you will some quirky, unique, eclectic items that make great gifts. Steve (owner) is super cool & eager to help you find just the right thing for the person that’s hard to buy for.
Oh, the cards are the best! I stood at the card racks for about 45 minutes laughing out loud!

Not to mention a dazzling selection of glittery, good smelly, decorative and snarky gifts anyone would be happy to own. The owner is beyond friendly & fun to just hang out with. I second another Unilocaler’s opinion that they greet you & chat like old friends. Here I was warmly greeted & we had a nice chat for ten minutes!
