What a waste of time!!! The girl who brought me back for my first draw, messed up! Of course I don’t know the process, so when she told me to drink the glucola, I chugged it and was told to wait an hr… problem is… she didn’t draw my blood first, from fasting… so now I have to come back tomorrow morning and do this all over again!!! Aaaaaaarggggh!!!

Hey, I don’t know anyone that jumps with joy when they need to get blood work done. But I had a fairly overall good experience here. My advice is to make an appointment, it will go quicker. I made an appointment online. Monday-​Friday 7am-​4pm, but check their website for the most current info.
Beware the front door is a bit tricky to find. I initially couldn’t find it. The front door faces E Commerce and is not visible from the parking lot. There is no signage visible from the parking lot, but the facility is closest to the pediatric clinic.
The front desk fella was efficient and professional. I noticed that he was very calm when confronted with a couple of anxious patients repeatedly asking about the wait time. As I waited, I noticed they don’t give an estimated time to the walk ins. If you don’t have an appointment, be prepared to wait. The waiting room was filled to capacity… Uggh. Oh well.
The person taking my blood was patient and thorough to look for a good vein. He was quick and I felt very little to no pain. He did a great job. I forgot his name, it started with a Z.

This place is awful. 50 minutes after arrival just to get paperwork in. Meaning by the time I’m outta here it will be an hour 15 minutes. Arrived on a Tuesday am 10am.
Not the local employees fault. This is caused by corporate greed. They only have 1 person on the front counter and 1 vamp on duty. This place used to have 3 in front and 3 vamps, so appointment was never needed. .
Just the «f…‘em…let them wait «attitude. Wish I had a choice.

My advice-​MAKE AN APPOINTMENT or research other locations that aren’t so busy!
Had an appointment at 8 today (Friday). Came a little late-couldn’t find the location. Didn’t realize it was on the street side, behind the urgent care center. Signed in at 12 past, indicated appt time on sign in. Don’t come here for a walk-​in at this time, not an empty seat in the waiting room. I also checked to see if how many others had appts, only two or three people. Was called to the front desk at 8:40 for proof of insurance…28 minutes after I signed in. The guy who gave me the clipboard was the same person who called me up. Isn’t this supposed to be done when you check in???
One star rating for the process of the wait, but the additional star for the tech. Connie was very nice and I didn’t even feel the needle go in. She said it’s always busy. I noticed her and the other tech were doing their best to get people in and out. They do their jobs great and definitely do their best trying to get people out without doing a bad job.
I spoke to another person, walk-​in, and they weren’t notified of a wait-​time. My wife came here for a walk-​in and was told before she signed in – two hours for walk-​ins. She made an appointment online (the ONLY way) and she was in and out in five minutes. Anyway, the lady who was waiting didn’t get called up for insurance info for 20 minutes too! If an experience makes me miss anything medical-​related from my active duty military years, that is a bad thing lol.

Tuesday mid morning. Standing room only. Completely understaffed. People leaving. One patient called every 15 minutes or so. Miserable. Avoid.

Professional and clean.
Josh had to take my blood for a lot of analysis the dr. wanted since I’m a new patient at Mercy Medical Group. I’m a very hard draw, my veins are small and they move, especially when they see a needle coming.
Josh was able to get my vein on the first prick and get all the blood they needed to do the tests, about 10 of them. He was friendly, personable and extremely patient trying to find a tiny vein on my hand.
I’ll be back and hopefully Josh will be there, plus he’s kinda cute :)

Everything runs smoothly if you make an appointment and have your insurance card ready. This is a relatively smaller lab with usually only 1 phlebotomist working (from what I’ve seen at least.) 2 if you’re lucky! Other than that, I always make an appointment just in case because you never know how many people will be waiting when you arrive. With an appointment, I wait about 10 – 15 mins max.

Really really bad waiting period! Even with less people and still waiting average 35 to 45 mins?

Made an appointment online. Didn’t have to wait very long. Was in to have blood drawn for a bunch of tests. The two phlebotomists I dealt with were great. I have very hard veins to draw blood from and the young lady felt around for quite a while and couldn’t find one. I informed them that they usually have to draw from my hand. The older gentleman took over and did a flawless job drawing from my hand. They took a decent amount of blood and I wasn’t feeling too hot afterwards. They were very nice and professional. They brought me water and had me lay down for a while. A bit embarrassing but they were great about it. If I have to return to quest I will definitely return to this location.

Friendly receptionists & phlebotomists. The only drawback is that it’s been extremely busy every time I’ve come in. Getting an on-​line appointment helps, but you may still be cooling your heels for 20 minutes and without one, it’s been 30 – 45. Parking is plentiful.
