Our family owned Sacramento business, which is celebrating 50 years in the window treatment industry, might, at first glance, conjure up images of a «Mom and Pop storefront».

The fact is, however, that Rico’s Window Coverings has «dressed up» thousands of upscale homes in Northern California as well as just about every recognizable high-​rise on the Sacramento skyline… both sides of the river.

Much has changed since Rico Morotti’s father (the first Rico – there are three) opened the doors to Draperies by Rico in 1958. Back then, it was draperies and sheers.

To say the least, technology has caught up with art. As far as window coverings in the luxury class are concerned, motorization is the current hot item.

My company only represents the finest products in the industry, Hunter Douglas, Mechoshade, Levolor, Springs, BTX, Castec just to name a few. We also are a Security and Solar film applicator our premier product is the 3M Prestige line. Rico’s has supplied and installed all of Sacramento’s most prestigious buildings like The State Capitol, Stanley Mosk Library, California Highway Patrol, Federal Courthouse and many many more. Our residential division started in 1958′ and is still going strong into our 3^rd generation of the same family owned business.
