Worst customer service. Very pricey. The lady at the store is upright rude. She has no business ethics. Don’t order from her because she does not know her colours and will blame you for her mistake. She does not care once she gets her pocket full. Once a friend of mine who is not indian walked into her store and asked for a lahenga to see she told her she does not have any because she was too lazy to get up or was discriminatry. later when she told her she came through a referral she got up and started showing the clothes. really, thats how you do business. You look at peoples face and decide who you will get money out of and who you would not. I for sure will never go here.

At first, i was a bit discouraged by the size of the store(but only because i’m not accustomed to shopping for indian clothing and my brother and sister-in-law just recently had taken me to what seemed like the indian capital of LA –Artizia). The store is packed, but it made the experience all the better. Soni was awesome! So sweet, kind, patient, and funny! Hospitality is always nice too when you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for or what to expect. Especially, once she found out that me, my mother, and my sister were looking for outfits for my brother’s wedding; she had a better idea of what to show us, which ended up being exactly what we were looking for! She was pulling beautiful, Beautiful lenghas out from every corner, left and right. Helping us try them on, deciding on colors, even on tips and what to expect at the event as partaking as the immediate family, rather than a guest(if you couldnt guess by my picture, im Filipino). Soni was just so so welcoming and genuinely friendly. I’m recommending her to anyone looking for indian outfits, or even just something beautiful and different at any of the next coming events.

This is the worst place ever! We ordered our outfits and were told it would be in by 3 weeks, well it wasn’t. 2 months went by, nothing. The owners story kept changing and apparently every week the shipment was in LA. 2 days before our party she offered to give our money back but we didn’t have time to find another outfit last minute. So she agreed to give us another outfit and have it fixed by a tailor. Well it made the outfit worse!!! It went from a $ 400 outfit to a cheap spoiled outfit. We didn’t blame the tailor, she did the best she can do. It was the owners fault, she was supposed to take care of her customers. When we went it to show her the outfit, her sister said she was in «LA», after arguing with the sister for about 3 hours and having the cops involved, she gave our money back. I have never met someone so rude and disrespectful to her customers. She’s a liar and has bad customers service. One week after our party, we saw pics on her Facebook of her wearing one of the outfits she sold us prior to this incident, without telling us she had worn it, told us it was a one piece brand new outfit for about $ 600. Makes you wonder how many outfit she wears herself then sells them without notifying the customers. This store won’t last long. Don’t go to this place, trust me!

Stopped in to Soni Sarees just last week. — EVENTHOUGHITWASMONDAY — She agreed to open the store for me, where they are normally closed. I have to say their selection is top notch, they use the space in there very well. If Soni isn’t able to help me directly she will always have someone else to assist me with what I’m looking for. She greeted me right when I walked in the store. and I didn’t feel rushed at all. I found exactly what I needed. I had a great experience. I would definitely recommend anyone who hasn’t shopped here to go if you’re in need for Sarees, Salwars, Lehngas, etc. Ask yourself, do you want to stand out amongst the crowd? Then come here. She’ll make it work!

Needed an emergency wedding lengha and we walked in and saw a few items and found the one we wanted. Soni’s sister was there and we were able to negotiate a good price with her along inclusive of shoes, choora, and wedding jewelry. While waiting I browsed other items and I will definitely be coming back with my mom and sisters.

I disagree with the previous review. My experience with Soni Sarees was excellent. The lady/owner of the store is pleasant and showed some elegant sarees and lehenga which was good quality and I bought 5 sarees and 2 lehenga. The jeweleries I bought was good quality as well, pricing was not bad either. She will give a good deal if you buy in larger quantity. I highly recommend Soni Sarees so don’t be fooled by the negative comments.

The worst customer SERVICEEVER! The woman at the store is straight up rude once you buy stuff from here, it goes down from the point you pay her. Indian stores are famous for their rudeness but this lady has gone to a different level, she has the wrist suits and jewelry ever that she charges hell of money, the stuff is crapy as hell and low quality. She is very racist to the other people, but really friendly to her own people, we felt like we were asking for charity when we wanted to EXCHANGE something. She made us feel like crap. CALIFORNIABEENSO strong in CUSTOMER service and it’s return policy, where she believes in her OWN laws and rules. She asked us to pay cash when we asked for discount and she said if we pay cash she won’t charge us tax. We said we won’t do that. She is a tax stealer plus rude and worst stuff EVER! DONTEVERGOTOHERSTORE ! Instead if u guys are looking for great customer service and good stuff for reasonable price, in my suggestion, go to ROOPAMSAREES in the same area.
