History

Established in 1985.

SportClips has been around for almost 20 years now. The concept was originally developed in Georgetown Texas and has grown to over 2000 stores nationwide. We recently achieved the goal of opening in all 50 states and also have stores in Canada.

The R Street Market store opened in March of 2014 and is the sister store to the store in Loehmann’s Plaza on Fair Oaks Blvd. Many of our employees at R St. started a the Loehmann’s Plaza store. We also have a number of clients that have migrated to the downtown store to follow their favorite stylist.

Meet the Manager

Chesa O.

Manager

Chesa is the store manager and an exceptional stylist. She started with SportClips in Kansas and came to us in 2008. She was quickly promoted to assistant manager and then manager of the Loehmann’s Plaza store where she developed a great team and excelled in her role. When the opportunity came up to open a new store in downtown Sacramento she immediately accepted the challenge. She lives downtown and knows the vibe so it was a perfect fit. She has done an amazing job with her staff and the store is growing.

As for her skills she is an amazing stylist. I don’t believe there is a style or cut that she hasn’t mastered. She is also an amazing person, always upbeat and friendly. When you sit in her chair you will know you are in good hands and that you will have an exceptional haircut experience. Chesa is the backbone of the store and has the respect of her team, her clients as well as her peers in the industry.
