Sutter Diagnostic Imaging

I had a great experience there today. I had the earliest appointment of the day. I had a check-​in time of 7:15 am. Unfortunately, no one showed up until 7:22, so me and the security guard for the building had no idea what the deal was. There was no one there to give me any info. The receptionist that showed up told me she was supposed to start work at 7:30 am. So, clearly that needs to be fixed.
After that, it was a smooth transaction. I got my ultrasound and continued with my day. :)

Fantastic service and the best UT ever. She is older but surely cares about all of her patients. This place is beautiful. Has locker rooms and separate dressing areas indicative of dressing rooms. I love that. The huge scene in the mammography room is soothing and wonderfully placed. Sutter makes sure to hire top notch staff that really know how to treat their patients. I am happy to be a patient of this age old organization and will continue to book all my healthcare needs here.

Unbelievable service when I needed to take some Xrays today. I waited about 10 minutes and soon was ushered into the Xray room. Finished in about 12 minutes and out the door I went!
Also, «Free Valet Parking» at the entrance to the medical center. Great because it was raining this morning. Brand new and very nice facilities along with courteous and friendly personnel.

Valet (free) staff– when arriving and leaving, were kind and professional.
The receptionist was also kind we talked and even laughed together.
Lady who took me to ct was welcoming and shared a lovely smile with me.
Ct tech new what he was doing and got it done quick.
X-​ray tech (day) was also awesome.
The craziest part was that I had a ct chest and a three view wrist done so quick. From check in to check out was 19 minutes!!!

The building is clean, there is free valet parking, well displayed signs to direct you to the right office and did I mention it’s clean?
I had an awful diagnostic test done here, so the fact that I am giving it 5 stars tells you something. My appointment was at 10:30 and they were very prompt at calling me in. The front staff and the gentleman that walked me back were both helpful and patient, and the room I was lead to was comfortable and the gown I was given was cloth and full coverage so there was no butt in the wind sitcom scene going to happen. I was handed a warm blanket to keep me comfortable, and offered a key entry locker for my clothes and personal items.
The most wonderful part of my experience was the nurse/​technician who assisted in my procedure, Faye. She was a kind and extremely helpful person who calmly explained every detail that was about to happen in a way that I could understand and was able to answer any question I had. The doctor was nice, and did an overview of the procedure, but I was very grateful for Faye’s detailed description beforehand.
The room and equipment seemed clean, up to date and both Faye and the doctor were very aware I was nervous and if I was in too much pain, he would stop and try to talk me through the pain while she applied a cold compress to my forehead, rubbed my arm and just generally tried to make me feel more comfortable.
After it was all done I gave Faye a hug and am so very grateful that even though this procedure was unpleasant, I could not have been happier with the Imagine facility and the staff.

Free valet parking is a plus… And it’s free for the entire building here and not just the imaging suite.
Had a 3pm Friday afternoon appointment and only two other people were in the waiting room when we first got there. But, I think they were actually waiting on someone else who had already gone in… Even with an appointment, still waited over 30 minutes before getting called in. In fact, there were other people who came in after us and got called in before us (we were there for an ultrasound and other people were just there for x-​rays or other services).
When you’re with a pregnant person who has to drink lots of water and not use the restroom, the wait time should be kept to a minimum… When we did get called in, there was only 2 ultrasound rooms and both were empty, so why the long wait? To make things worse, the request for the service wouldn’t show up in their computer. So we had to wait for them to figure that out also. (I think our doctor had requested one service, but the radiologist cancelled it and switched it to something else).
I’m not sure if our technician was new, but he was horrible… Took a personal call prior to starting the ultrasound session (making us wait longer). And since he took the call while we were waiting in the room, I could hear him say that he was going to be late for something, so we now knew that he was only interested in getting off of work (Friday afternoon…) He also didn’t seem competent with the machine or process. Perhaps he was new, because he only took the measurements that were requested and didn’t give us any views of our new baby. It is not our first child, but doesn’t he know that people want to see their whole baby (and not just the head/​measurements)? It also would have been nice to get a printout or two also…

Professional, friendly staff, fast results… and oh my goodness, I LOVE the free valet parking!!!

Clean, comfortable, and friendly is how I would describe this place. It sure beats the cold, clinical feel of a typical X-​ray lab. The interior design fabrics are ugly (IMO), but there is a warm feeling in the wood tones and colors. The warmth is more than echoed in the attitudes of the helpful and caring staff. Short wait time, too, on a late Tuesday morning. Free valet parking included.
