Dropped to one star. No matter how many chances I give them, they still suck! I have tried two diff burritos… the wet chile verde burrito was so bad I couldn’t finish it. The California burrito was really basic and nasty. The rolled tacos were cold and not good etc. Put it this way… I never see any Mexican folks eating here(I’m white), so um yeah red flag.

Solid, good mexican food at a great price place is close to my house so not bad in a pinch, but also not as great as I usually expect from a local taqueria

My favorite place to get a burrito! Their vegetarian burrito comes with beans, rice, pico, guacamole, and cheese and all of it tastes really fresh. And their carne Asada fries are the best I’ve ever had!

Happy customer that will be returning for sure !! Thanx again Danny

The salsa bar is nice and they looked good from most of the reviewed pictures. I was incredibly turned off when I was placing my order I saw the cook begin to microwave a large plastic bag of rice. I thought this was very strange. After reading the prior reviews it seemed they had been microwaving styrofoam, to go boxes, and other items. I have thing against microwaved food in establishments other than McDonald’s and an even bigger problem with microwaving unsafe materials with my food

This is a great little hole-in-the-wall. My girlfriend and I finished donating stuff across the street at the Salvation Army and saw this spot. We both ordered super burritos with carnitas. I’ve had better burritos, but this hit the spot. If you live downtown/midtown, check this place out for a reasonably-priced, filling meal.

Awesomely delicious crispy chicken tacos with special marinade(order comes with two). Street tacos are average. No salsa/condiments bar, so you get what comes with the order. Decent burger, but very greasy fries. Still, it’s a taqueria, so the burger’s not what you come for. Outside seating only.

. Carne asada fries are great, and the stuff is super friendly. Wish it was in a nicer area so I’d be more inclined to stay and eat there hahaha

It sounds wrong, but come here for a burger and fries! NOM!!! Good sized patty, regular, cheddar, bacon and pastrami!!! The fries are on point as well. SUPER deep fried. Crunch and soft and tasty all at once. Super glad out neighbor Frank recommended the burgers. Would have never thought to order such American fare at a Mexican restaurant.

Sorry to say I would never pay $ 23 for 2 burritos that they call super burritos lady charge me $ 2.50 guacamole $ 1.50extra cheese $ 1.50 extra sour cream I never order that at all she just assumed that I wanted it on there. If you’re going to charge me all that extra money at least let me know it’s that easy… also the burritos are very small to call this a super burrito is bullshit!!! Super burritos are supposed to come with guacamole sour cream and cheese you shouldn’t have to pay extra thats why its called Super. At this point I would hate to see what a regular burrito has on it or the size of it

Let me start of by saying I am Chicana and from Los Angeles. This is the place I go to! I eat there on average 2 times a week. My husband more like 4 days a week. Their tacos are great! Their asada tortas are amazing! My favorite are their quesadillas! I love them! Another great thing about this spot is it’s family run and the owner and his kids are super nice people. They are fast and if you like picking up food to go, it’s super duper fast! Check it out, it will not disappoint. Like for reals, you should go lol

First time coming to this place after hearing about it from a couple of people. My girlfriend and I have been looking for a taqueria in Sacramento that we BOTH like, and I think this is the place Walked up and asked what they recommend, and was told by the cashier to get the street tacos. So 3 tacos later my meal only cost 9.25 with a soda as well. After only having to wait about five minutes for my food to come out, I took it to a little side table and devoured them. The food was made with care, the staff was friendly, and the place was clean. I love it! Those three carne asada street tacos never stood a chance today. They were SOGOOD Taqueria Davis in Davis is still our favorite place, but it’s safe to say this is our favorite sacramento place by far.

Well we went based on other Unilocal reviews… And well, I don’t quite get it. It is a very small old style drive-up with all outdoor seating around it. The staff was nice. the portions were pretty tiny… it was kind of shocking. We expected much more. dry chicken as well.

Really clean spot and the staff are awesome. I LOVEMESOMETACOS. The meats are well marinaded/seasoned on the taco’s here. My only issue is with the condiment portion. I think I had 5 – 10 pieces of chopped onions, very little-to-none cilantro, and a drop of guac. Which to me is a NO-BUENO. Prefer driving up the street to [enter name her]‘s on Arden. The lines are almost always long but well worth it at [enter name her]‘s. I Recommend taking a detour to [enter name here]‘s right up the street.

This is the best Mexican food downtown. Period. Taco salad is amazing. The burritos are epic the chili Verde you would kill for. Burgers to shame any burger place downtown. This is really just a spectacular place. The owner is such a nice guy he makes you really feel like family. Their salsa is amazing and their Chips are amazing. I never eat taco salad shells and here my plate is empty!

Not only is the food delicious here, but the staff is super friendly. The owner is probably the nicest taqueria owner I’ve ever come across. He’s always helpful and kind. My most recent meal was a carne asada quesadilla. YUM! It came with a side of chips. The portions are well-sized too. All seating is outside under a covered patio, but I usually take my order to go. If you haven’t been here, it’s definitely worth a try.

I don’t consider myself an expert in much… but I know my beers, and I know my mexican food. This is, by far, the best mexican food that I’ve had since I moved to sacramento. I’m almost sad to have found it. Conveniently located near my gym(so I can work out, then undo all the progress I’ve made), it is absolutely delicious. Pro Tip: They serve coke in the bottle.
