I had my first session at TEAMride H Street. I wasn’t surprised to find the whole team to be approachable, easy to talk to, and full of energy– from the manager Noemi to the studio assistants on the floor! I haven’t hit an indoor bike since December, so I was excited when Kristi played songs I recognized and could sync with. When I thought I couldn’t take any more, Kristi upped the ante with her consistent guidance and reminder that You’re body can take more than you think! I will definitely be back.

my first class and I can say it still lives up to my first impression. The instructors are great. Good music. Perfect intensity. I appreciate how helpful the staff is with adjusting the bikes for first timers. Worth it all!
I love the free weight use during the class, and the stretching at the end.
I was impressed with all the amenities like electronic combo locks toiletries like mouthwash, filtered water. Its funny how larger chain fitness places copy a place like Team Ride and always come up short.
For instance Cal Fit has these X bike classes and they are so easy and unchallenging. God forbid if you develop muscle tone and start to break a sweat at Cal Fit.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a very long time! TEAMride is the only exercise I’ve ever been able to do consistently, because I love it so much. It’s really challenging, but in a good way! For me, it is definitely the hardest workout I can imagine fitting into 45 minutes, but it is so much fun because it feels like a dance class on a bike. Over the years, I’ve tried my hardest to go 1 – 2 times per week and it has really paid off. My endurance and strength are better than ever. It has also made such a positive impact on my mood. When I first started doing TEAMride a few years ago, I had just started medical school and was feeling pretty miserable. Going to Teresa’s class and listening to her words of inspiration has seriously turned my outlook on life around completely. I love all of the instructors that I’ve tried, but I don’t think Teresa quite realizes how much of a positive influence she’s had on my life.

TEAMride is life changing. It is a high energy, hardcore spin class similar to Soul Cycle. Clean towels waiting for you on the bikes, lockers or cubbies, water fountain, beautiful facility. You can bring your own or rent SPD clip cycling shoes. I also love that the shower has shampoo, deodorant, disposable razors so if you forgot something, you’re good to go.
Definitely lots of upper body work, including weights. Michelle & Elena are my favorite instructors, hands down, but you can’t go wrong with Francesca, Kristi and Rachel too. Come at least five minutes early because there’s always a wait list of people who they give bikes to 2 minutes before class starts. Sign up like a week in advance especially if you want a certain bike. I never thought I’d be one of those people who works out at 5:30 and 6 a.m., but now I am and I actually enjoy it! I am an unlimited monthly member and I come like 5 or 6 times a week. I was going through personal stuff this past year, and TEAMride helped me stay fit and healthy. It is worth the cost to come to a place where I will work out consistently. The instructors do a great job of motivating you to work harder than you would on your own. Prepare to sweat, eat a little something beforehand, bring a water bottle, and work that bike!

Honestly, I never thought I would end up regularly attending an indoor ‘spin class’ as I ride my bike in midtown ~100 miles a week. My co-​workers often question the logic behind riding six miles from the office to the TEAMRIDE studio only to ride a stationary bike before riding another four miles home. So I’ll explain…
First, I love the motivational aspect of group fitness and after burning out on CrossFit, TEAMRIDE is a great compliment to my personal trainer. Despite being on my bike constantly I rarely have 50 minutes of sustained, intense cardio on it in the city. Subsequently, my endurance has not been this strong since I stopped running in ~2009 due to a recurring knee injury. I live to mountain bike and snowboard and definitely credit my early season, big mountain lungs to the ladies at TEAMRIDE.
Second, the instructors are fun and challenging. Many take the extra time to change up their classes often so you do not get the same thing over and over. My favorite instructor list is getting pretty long but you can’t go wrong with one of Kristi’s, Francesca’s, Sarah’s, or Sophie’s classes.
Third, their business model makes sense to me and their website is both simple and easy to use. As a frequent traveler most gyms have few options that work for me (i.e. I pay even when I am out of town). TEAMRIDE’s class packages allow for me to get a (small) discount by pre-​paying for larger bundles and I have the freedom to use them at my discretion (NOTE: they do have an unlimited monthly option as well). Furthermore, I love the efficiency of their scheduling system. The same things cannot be said about all small/​local businesses and this goes a long way to earn my business.
Finally, as a loyalty marketing consultant, I loved the personal touch of a hand-​written thank you card with a 10% off coupon after my first ride. I hope hope this type of customer appreciation continues as I spend more money and time with TEAMRIDE.
Overall, they make it very easy to support a great local business. Give them a try; you have nothing to lose –your first ride is free.

I did not expect to love this workout, but I do. I love it! It is fun, and every instructor has a different flavor and each one of them is wonderful!

OBSESSED!!! I love soul cycle but I have to say I Loveeee TEAM ride. I love the instructors! Francesca and Chelsea are amazing!!! I wish they would open one in Elk Grove, I’ve gone serval times with my friend and boyfriend and we are all obsessed with it. The employees and instructors are fantastic, they remember everyone, they are very nice, and I’ve always had a great time every time I’ve gone to spin here.

I’ve done Cross Fit and any number of workout regimes. By far Team Fit is the most challenging and fun 50 minutes of cardio, core, and strength training!
Staff is incredibly friendly and provide an atmosphere that wants you to do your best regardless of your skill level.

Team Ride has changed my life. It got me into cycling and not only do I do the indoor classes but have begun riding outdoors as well. It is the best workout I know of for burning the calories. The team atmosphere is inspiring to say the least. Awesome family owners and great community.

Fabulous workout, friendly staff and great music. Highly recommend it! I’ve quit my gym in favor of this ultimate, killer workout.

I’ve lived in the area for well over ten years now and watched as this place was coming together to open its doors. I was intrigued from the beginning because I enjoy spin and love cycling. However, the extent of my spin experience had been at 24hr Fitness and I really couldn’t see myself paying the extra money for a service I can get at my gym.
I’ve decided to finally get in here for several reasons:
1) it’s close to the house and closer to my baby which makes my feel ok about being away from him for an additional hour of the day.
2) training for the 2016 AIDS Lifecycle and this is the perfect way to help condition
3) I need to be more heart-​healthy
4) I love spin
When I walked in for my first ride last month (as of date it was my first and only ride, but have two scheduled!) I was nervous and a little intimidated. I’m super out of shape and haven’t been In a spin class for YEARS! The women at the desk we’re welcoming and cheery, it immediately put at ease. One of the women gave me a tour and spent some time fitting me on the bike.
While I waited for the prior class to finish I ended up talking to another girl who was also waiting for the next class. It just so happened that her bike was next to mine and she was super helpful.
The class I took was with Abbey. I have nothing to compare it to but she was awesome! The energy in that place is off the charts!
I have to say that there is no comparing my old 24hr Spin class to this! TeamRide takes spin to another level. I really love the upper body workout that is incorporated into these classes, I think my upper body was more sore the next day than my legs were… But two days after the ride I was sore all over!
I also like how clean it is in here. Whereas you have to wipe down your own bike at the regular gym, you don’t have to here. You just come ready, ride, and roll out! That’s all!
If you don’t have spd compatible cycling shoes, they can rent some to you for a fee. I’ve only taken one class and I will definitely work these classes into my busy life… Watch out, they are addicting!!!
I’m excited they are opening one in midtown this month. I don’t work too far (walking/​jogging/​biking distance) and will probably be utilizing this location as well!
TeamRide rocks!

I’ve been to been to TEAMride three times so far, and I’m definitely planning to go back — especially when they open their Midtown studio! I love that its so well-​organized. There’s no frantic rushing to get the best bike, you’ve booked your bike number in advance so you can always get your favorite spot if you book ahead of time. The bike is cleaned and prepped with a new towel when you walk into the room. You can just clip and go!
Everyone is also really friendly! They’re great to newcomers — very helpful and welcoming. I think everyone there has a very positive attitude and is really supportive. It’s a really nice environment to come to work out!
The spin workouts are really good! I’ve done a lot (years and years) of spin, but this is the first class that has really, fully integrated upper body action into spinning. It’s been tricky for me, even with extensive spin experience, to work in that balance and beat. Luckily, they have a beginner series for people who need some extra time to adjust. Now that I’m at the third ride, things are coming much more easily and it’s making the ride really fun!
The only reason I’m not giving the 5-​stars here is that I think Teamride is too expensive. Even with packages, you’re paying about $ 17/​class, which is more than you would pay in Midtown for any yoga or pilates class. (And spin classes are free at 24 Hour Fitness with a $ 90/​month membership.) So that’s a bummer. I also think their cancellation policy is a little rough. For example, I’m a member at P20 Hot Pilates. They have a four hour cancellation policy, and they generally won’t charge you if you call and explain your absence and someone from the waitlist can fill in. TeamRide’s cancellation policy requires that you cancel by 7pm the day before your ride, I think. Sometimes that’s more than 24 hours in advance, which is difficult because usually unforeseen issues don’t give you 24 hours notice. And there doesn’t appear to be any wiggle room. I had to cancel due to illness in a class that had a very full waitlist, so you know someone could have filled in my bike. The woman on the phone was very nice, but I still lost the entire $ 20 class, so that was really a bummer.

TEAMride was recommended to me by a friend/​coworker when I was going through a bit of a rough patch! I was coming off of a running injury, had some personal/​life stuff going on, and was just really in a funk! I was so used to being able to use running as my outlet for ANYTHING I was going through in life, and during that time, couldn’t. She suggested I try it out (but give it a few classes to really decide). I had a half coming up in a few months, and I knew that if I was going to complete it, I had to get my endurance back. I figured it was as good of a time as any to try it out!
Although I was pretty much flailing around/​lost the first class (embarrassing), I knew right then I was hooked. I did as she suggested and gave it multiple tries (SO necessary to get a good feel for the bikes/​moves/​coordination of the class). The instructors and music are amazing! I leave every class feeling SO fantastic, it’s ridiculous! Every class is so full of energy and positivity; you can’t help but leave feeling better than when you walked in (even at 6 in the morning). The T-​E-​M ladies make such an effort to learn the attendee’s names and greet them each class. They also call out to you during class, and it always gives you an extra boost RIGHT when you need it!
I know this is silly, but I feel like it should also be pointed out. The instructors have normal daily jobs as well, and that alone gives me a boost at times when I just don’t feel like exercising! I think about them coordinating a class, instructing a class, and then having their career after (or before, depending on the class) and it shows me that if you make something a priority, there is no reason you can’t fit exercise into your life regularly! They are really a group of empowering women, I love it!
I had originally purchased individual classes, but after deciding I enjoyed too many of the instructors/​classes I knew the monthly pass was a better route for me (it’s a good deal if you know you will use it regularly!) I am glad to say that not only have I been able to bring running back into my routine, but I was able to complete the half without conventionally «training» for it… If a 45min spin class can help prepare you for a half, that is a GOOD workout in my book!

I’m an avid long distance runner and naturally skeptical of any workout that doesn’t involve me, my running shoes and miles of pavement or trails. I’ve never been able to find a workout that is as challenging and enjoyable as running. Until TEAMride! My mom and sister have been going for a couple of years and dragged me to a class one Sunday. I wasn’t looking forward to it but i have to say, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed! Spinning at TEAMride is a challenge and just as good a workout as running. You can make it as difficult as you want to. Whenever I want to cross train or am injured and unable to run, I always go to TEAMride. And I always feel amazing after and happily worked out. The sisters are all fantastic. They know everyone by name and give everyone individual attention, as do the other instructors. They push you hard but not past your limits. I definitely love Team Tide and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, challenging workout. It’s worth every penny.

I was introduced to Team Ride during circuit training at the Academy. My friend frequents here often so she invited me to come with her. Now I’m hooked!
The class has a bit of yoga elements to it. The room is kept warm and the mirrors even start fogging up at the middle of the class since it gets that hot. Bring iced cold water! There are cup holders on the side of the bikes that expand out to fit even the largest water bottle.
It’s a great work out and I felt great afterwards. This is cardio and upper body work out. Be prepared to SWEAT! I was sore the next day. I started doing indoor cycling classes to supplement my training for my races. Cycling is supposed to help with speed and I have noticed that since I started cycling, my average time per mile has gotten faster when I run.
Classes book up fast so reserve a week in advance. Come early to get situated on your bike.
I love the music here. I am so tempted to ask for their playlist! It’s mostly EDM and keeps the energy pumping. The atmosphere is very club like and the music does get loud. They do offer complimentary ear plugs for that reason.
There is parking in the back but it fills up quick. There’s parking on the streets.
Only con is that the cost. The class fee is $ 20 + $ 2 shoe rental. I have cycling classes offered at CalFit so I always find it a challenge to pay for additional classes when I’m already paying for a gym membership. However, the classes at Team Ride is definitely different. It’s the closest thing to Soul Cycle in Sacramento and provides an arm work out as well. It definitely motivates me to increase the resistance to get my money worth!
They also offer giftcards here! It can go directly into the recipient’s account or with the physical gift card, your recipient will just have to call the number to activate.

If you’re questioning whether to come to the studio, DO IT! It is the most rewarding and challenging workout I have ever had. I’ve been part of the team for over 7 months and leave every class feeling challenged. It is an amazing workout for all body types and the instructors are AMAZING.

I first want to say that I am happy Sacramento finally has a Soul Cycle-​like place. I have been attending these cycling classes in different states for many months because I travel a lot for work. That said, I am disappointed in TEAMride for a few reasons. The main reason is that based on the business model and price charged for service, the experience isn’t high-​end enough or inspirational enough. Since they are modeling themselves after a Soul Cycle-​like experience and charging similar prices I would expect a bit more than just a dark room with regular spin class bikes (older bikes at that), some choreography, and loud music. I was also disappointed that the instructor didn’t do much for inspiration or motivation. She mostly just called out the names of a few people in the front row and took us through the choreography.
All of the other places I have been to have been very similar to each other and have offered a much higher-​end inspirational experience (at the same price TEAMride charges or a dollar less). The key things the other places have that TEAMride is missing are below.
1. Stadium riding where the bikes are at different levels/​heights and more space between the bikes
2. Brand new, state-​of-​the-​art bikes (they are a dream, really)
3. Optional cushion seat covers
4. People that come around before each class and help you set up your bike
5. An amazing sound system
6. A special effects lighting system and lit candles
7. Instructors that say inspirational things throughout and really work to provide motivation and help the class stay focused.
8. Electronic lockers that have 4 digit passcodes to secure items
9. Shoes included in the price of the class
10. Separate men’s and women’s locker rooms with showers and bathrooms
The people that run TEAMride seem really nice and it seems like the people who attend are happy with the services provided, but I think that is because they haven’t experienced any other place. As this type of cycling experience grows in popularity and more locations open in the Sacramento area, I would hate to see TEAMride close due to what they currently offer. I really hope some upgrades and a more inspirational experience are coming soon!

Teamride, hands down is the best workout I have ever had. Not only am I noticeably (maybe more to myself than to others!) thinning out, I am also feeling so much more confident than I ever was. And not to mention, I don’t feel groggy getting up in the morning anymore. — well received by my family.
Finding the beat of the music and enduring the teasing of the fans, lights, challenges is so difficult yet addicting! I am so glad and thankful that these sisters (who are absolutely beautiful and very welcoming btw!) put this whole inspiring thing together. So, cheers Teamride! And many many thanks for literally kicking my ass. Every. Freaking. Time.

My girlfriend introduced me to Team Ride and I honestly love it. Picture a spin class mixed with awesome high energy music and a little choreography and weights thrown in. I wasn’t sure what to expect but after my first class I was extremely sweaty and I felt like I put in a lot of good work. The teacher had high energy and high intensity too.
You can rent shoes for $ 2 and do drop ins or class cards. I definitely will come back again.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that they need more restrooms! I had to deduct one star for that. Parking was easy and I got in and out real quickly. Would recommend to a friend for sure and I will definitely be back.

I didnt know what to expect when I heard the word choreography, but it excited me. I go to Flywheel in Seattle religiously and only know one style of indoor group cycling. Team Ride exceeded all of my expectations and provided me with the expel of toxins I was looking for.
Theresa greeted me the moment I walked in knowing I was a first time rider. She gave me a brief overview of everything I would be encountering in the class which completely set me up for success.
I was slightly worried I wasn’t going to get the intense workout I typically desire but I was completely wrong. Within the first 10 minutes I was sweating. There is a lot of emphasis on strengthening the core which is rare for a spin class. I felt stronger immediately after the class.
Theresa’s energy was natural, positive, and blessed. I found myself smiling from Joy on numerous occasions throughout the class.
As a business TeamRide is extremely professional and ethical. The music was fun. The workout was challenging. The studio is clean and well equipped to meet everyone’s needs. I recommend anyone and everyone to give the girls at TeamRide a chance.
