Wow if I could write negative stars, I would. Just called to get a price. Receptionist said too bad check out our Unilocal page instead and hung up on me!!! Well I’m checking out the Unilocal page and adding a review. Don’t go there. Customer service should be courteous not rude! Awful.

I called for a simple job, snaking out my washing machine drain, and they told me they don’t want my business because I don’t know someone else they have done business with.

I called them for a easy job just to snake a kitchen sink and they said no thats not good for customer service being a company are selfs we never turn down callers

The good thing about this place is that it’s open at 7am the BAD thing is that they ONLY take appointments by referral only. No new customers. So much for new business and a potential returning customer. I don’t get it.

I have used Ron for various repairs over the past 4 – 5 years and have to say he’s one of the most honest, straightforward plumbers or tradespeople I have encountered. I have had him repair and replace toilets, faucets, and valves in the shower. He’s actually told me a few times that I could probably do the job myself and he didn’t charge me. (how often does that happen?)
Overall, Ron’s a rare find. Is he the cheapest plumber around? No. But he’s honest, and will install a part — even if he doesn’t sell it to you. He will also provide you with a wealth of knowledge about plumbing.
Some Unilocalers seem to not understand the golden rule — treat those as you would like to be treated…

Integrity, that’s the word that describes Ron «the PlumberMan». Ron is hands down the best plumber in Sacramento. Always prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and honest.

The Plumberman was referred to us, and out of all the references I got, I’m so glad we went with him! We got an appointment within an hour of speaking with them. Fast, friendly, knowledgable, and very reasonably priced. Gave us a quote over the phone, stood by it, and gave us a guarantee on his work! And, family-​owned for 30 years. Very pleased!

Excellent and honest. Amazing. I’m recommending everyone use him. Ron is now our ONLY plumber!

Update: 2÷28÷14 We had Ron come over to clear the same backyard irrigation drain (root clog) that was problematic several years ago. Once again, he showed up on time, and had the right equipment for the job, and cut through the root clog in about a half hour. He recommended using a root killer in the drain to stem the problem going forward, and I’ll have to follow through with his advice this time. I have more work for him to do in the house which I’ll have to schedule at a later time. I just love working with local businessman such as Ron who really care about their clients and do great work.

They wouldn’t do my repair. For the first time ever have I had a plumber tell me that my plumbing was too outdated, it seems a little inexperienced to me just my opinion. But at least they were kind of nice about it so I give them two stars.

One morning our plumbing just stopped draining. Everything in our small ONE bathroom house stopped. I had hired a plumbing company just 4 months prior for the same exact thing. Needless to say I was not going to call them again. I found The Plumberman on Unilocal and gave them a call. The woman who helped me on the phone was awesome. I had a few time constraints she helped me work through and promised she could get Ron to my house at a time that word for us, Ron arrived on time and worked above and beyond to clear our sewer lines. Which in a house that was built in 1924 was not easy. He was not only able to clear the lines but he explained the bigger problems I had, recommended a company who specialized in «strange» plumbing problems and even gave me their card. I can’t say enough good things about Ron — who completely confirmed my belief that hiring local small businesses is the best way to go. Thank you Ron! I am very happy to be able to use my bathroom again and that you have given me some time to deal with the bigger problem of sewer pipe damage in my own time frame.

Visiting a friend at their home, their poor toilet was overflowing to the brim with toilet paper and defecation, but that happens when you have a large amount of guests over at a time I suppose: D I head to Unilocal and look up plumbers in the area with good reviews and out of the few I seen and called I settled on «The PlumberMan»
The lovely woman on the phone was very high spirited, informative, and friendly on the phone and that made us choose to use this service even more.
I scheduled the appointment for the same day and had a 1 hour window and Ron came over in a little under 30 minutes. Whoo hoo!
Ron was dressed very professional and was clean. He greeted us warmly and asked us some questions on the issue at hand.
I must say Ron had a very pleasant demeanor with a great attitude.
The service was excellent. He got done pretty quickly and was very effective in clearing the toilet.
Ron was very informative explaining what he did and gave us advice on what to do in the future about the toilet even if we didn’t use him to implement the recommendations. I found that awesome, always great when a professional explains and gives advice when they do a service.
The overall experience was fantastic. When all was said and done, he went out to create an invoice and came back with magnet goodies and a nice flyer. I paid him (accepts cash or checks) and then he left. I highly recommend this very personable service.
I most definitely would recommend this business and have done so already!

a few years ago, we were in need of a plumber and a friend of ours who uses him extensively highly recommended «the plumberman» (ron). me and my wife were very impressed with ron that first time but i wasn’t Unilocaling back then and forgot to write a review. recently, we another plumbing issue and called ron out. we were given a one-​hour time window and he arrived on-​time and was able to diagnose the problem immediately and recommend a course of action. his work, once again, was excellent and i’m extremely happy with his reasonable rates. ron is a down-​to-​earth guy, super friendly and honest. highly recommended!

Ron showed up on time (actually a minute early), he was clean, well dressed, and professional. We had a sewer problem. He quoted his rates up front and then checked out the problem. He brought out his big rooter machine and cleared out our sewer connection. He checked the sewer pipe with a remote TV camera. He even replaced the flapper in one of our toilets at no extra charge. I won’t hesitate to call him the next time I have plumbing issues, and I highly recommend him. It’s nice to know that «honest plumber» isn’t necessarily an oxymoron.
