Tiny Tots Parent Participation Pre-School

We love Tiny Tots and can’t imagine sending our kids any where else. Our son comes home every day covered head to toe with paint and full of stories about his adventures in the forest. Teacher Emily nurtures his curiosity and he really loves learning because of her.
We love that the kids have so much room to explore. They ride bikes, climb trees, and collect eggs from the chickens.

I couldn’t recommend Tiny Tots more highly if you’re looking for a joyful and creative parent-​participation preschool for your child.
Rather than write about it myself, I just asked my oldest child, who’s now almost 11, to write this review:
«Tiny Tots is so rad. We didn’t just have to sit and learn our ABCs, we got to actually have fun, and every time we learned something we were moving around and it was always a little bit like a game. Teacher Emily was so funny and kind, and the other teachers were nice and helped me when I needed it. I also liked it because my mom and other moms and dads were there helping out and I made very good friends very fast. They never got mad when I played in the mud and in the summer we got to play with tons of water toys. We even got to paint the old Mini Cooper that’s there. Teacher Em didn’t tell us we had to paint it any special way, she just gave us paint and let us have fun.»
I’d highly recommend that interested families tour the school and see it in action. My child went into kindergarten not only academically well-​prepared, but also knowing the importance of being a good buddy and helping out others. Tiny Tots and Teacher Emily are Sacramento treasures, for sure.

Tiny Tots is great.
The families are fun, caring, and giving. The grounds are ripe for exploration and adventure. The school is full of activities for the kids to explore in a safe environment. The art projects and dramatic play allow the children to explore their imaginations and creativity. And Teacher Emily is the reason it all works. She is the «Toddler Whisperer» because she can calm any situation, and use it as a learning experience for the kids involved, and the parents in attendance. I am a better father because of her.
My 4 year old and 2 year old attend and LOVE IT! They look forward to their Tuesdays and Thursdays at school, and I even look forward to my workday. I cared and believed in the school (and Emily) enough to volunteer my time and services on the board and around the school grounds.
I would recommend Tiny Tots to any family that is looking for a caring, safe, and giving environment for their child. If you’re looking for a «drop-​off» daycare to watch your kid so you don’t have to… it is the wrong place for you. It is a non-​profit co-​op and you will give your time and energy. But I would argue that that is what makes Tiny Tots the community it is and much more than just a preschool.
