History
Established in 1998.
TMW Consulting began after the founder, Therese «Terry» Williams, decided that she preferred working for herself rather than for others «who were stupider than her». Having started in IT Consulting Services in 1989, she had been through numerous transitions in the business and determined her clients could be better served if she was able to work with directly rather then following the guidelines defined by her previous employers who did not seem to really understand small business owners needs.
Terry started out with helping small businesses prepare for software upgrades needed for arrival of the Year 2000. She transitioned into QuickBooks Small Business Accounting Software Consulting, then added ACT Contact Management Software Consulting. Currently, she works as a partner with her small business clients to develop business software solutions that meet their specific needs.

Terry has over 25 years experience in the IT field. For over 15 years, she has owned TMW Consulting providing small business software consulting services for programs such as QuickBooks, ACT and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Her goal when working with her clients is to determine what their needs are and to implement solutions that meet their needs for the present but also in the future. Her clients’ business success define her own success.
