Sports/​Deep Tissue/​Trigger Point/​Soft Tissue Release/​Myofascial — My practice consists of an eclectic mix of people: athletes weekend warriors, seniors (retirees), business owners, physically challenged individuals, etc. Most of my clientele appreciate the deeper, more restorative work. I can also do medium pressure, more spa like work, if desired.

Every session begins with a optional complimentary 10 – 15 min foot soak and heated neck wrap. This add on does not impact the length of your massage session

History

Established in 2001.

I took a leap of faith and left the corporate world 10+ years ago and took my part time massage practice (which I used to just use the income for mad money) full time.

It is truly a blessing to do what you love and get paid for it. I love my work (my passion) and the wonderful people I meet along the way.

I have 10+ years of professional experience, and a wide variety of technical training, including traditional and many integrative massage styles. Most importantly, I truly love the work and genuinely care about and appreciate the loyalty of all of my regular clientele.

I am blessed with the opportunity to be self employed and have a profession that I am enthusiastic and passionate about. I am a perpetual student of massage and am always exploring new areas of treatment.

I work on men and women of all ages, ethnicities and body types without prejudice. I am completely professional in my approach, but not at all cold or clinical. I ask questions, listen and pay attention. I draw from the many massage styles I have learned and blend them in an attempt to best meet my clients needs in each and every session. I do balance the need to address the troublesome spots thoroughly with a desire to make your massage experience a very pleasurable one.

I have worked with several massage therapists and nobody offers the experience that Vonda does. If you’re looking for a relaxing and healing massage, look no further. I am a Personal Trainer/​Bodybuilder and require specific muscle groups to be worked on. I recover faster and always feel improved posture after working with Vonda.
If you feel like talking to the most down to earth person, engage in a conversation with Vonda. She’s the best, no doubt in my mind!

I have seen Vonda a number of times and am always more than pleased with her massage work. I always feel super-​relaxed after one of her massages because she is warm and inviting and her home is comfortable and serene. The atmosphere of her massage room adds to the feeling of relaxation because the room and the table are always at a comfortable temperature and not too brightly lit. I’ve often felt I could easily slip into a nap on her table! Vonda herself is great company if either of us feels like catching up but is just as comfortable with a quiet room if we’re not feeling talkative. It doesn’t get better than getting a great massage from a great lady!

I have NOTHING but positive things to say about Vonda. Her massage was the best I have ever had… and due to my ongoing back problems I have been to many. She is friendly and caring!!! Her massage table is like laying on a bed of clouds… and it’s heated too!!! Since going to Vonda years ago, she has become a good friend as well. Vonda does great work! She is always willing to work with your schedule and isn’t hesitant to do all she can to make you feel comfortable on her table. She doesn’t even say anything if I don’t shave my legs and i always appreciate that. Haha! Since going to Vonda I have not only found a great message therapist, but also one awesome lady! I can only echo what others have written here… a friendly, caring, extremely competent practitioner, who does very good work in a comfortable, casual setting. Recently visited Vonda, AGAIN, for another wonderfully relaxing massage! I always leave there floating on a cloud and feeling rejuvenated! Very welcoming environment. Always nice and clean. Somehow always the right temperature… and I am kind of a snob about that! This box ins’t big enough to say all the nice things about Vonda! Do yourself a favor and call her! No need to make it long. This was great, not the standard go in, say what hurt, and they didn’t address it. Vssage Healing Touch paid close attention and got to the problems areas, and did so marvelously. Refreshing.

I sent her a message on her website saying I wanted to book a groupon. I found it annoyed that I couldnt just use the online reservation for groupon. The next day I was contacted by her saying she got my message and will message me asap about the times and availability. I didn’t hear anything from her from a week so I went ahead and sent another email. Instead of looking through her old emails for my available she wanted me to list them all over again. Minus points for taking so long to get back to me and making me list my availability again.
I ended up getting an appointment within days so luckily I was able to get my massage in before the groupon expired. I went to her house, yes this place is a house not a massage palour or anything. Vonda seemed very nice and she had a little dog. I told her I wanted my legs and back worked on and ended up getting full body massage.
When I was on the table and she was getting ready to work on me her dog kept licking my hands. I am glad the dog was locked out of the room I was in since I wouldnt want the dog to lick me throughout my entire massage. The dog did bark a couple times during my massage though.
She did an excellent job massaging my back and my arms. Unfortunately I was hoping for more work done on my legs since she didnt even touch my IT band and I know my legs are tight. My first face and scalp massage was from her and I would say I would want another one.
Overall decent experience for the massage and I came out feeling relaxed. The oil she used on my face smelled like peppermint and kept me relaxed about 20 minutes after the massage.
