It is the place where people who work there are really passionate and knowledgeable in what they do. I’m very glad I went there to get work done on my bike. Thanks a bunch for a high quality work!!!

I have to say the owner isn’t just knowledgeable but passionate about bikes and from what he told me he has been that way all his life. He made purchasing my sons first bike a true pleasure and I’m very happy I found this local gem. It’s great to see small businesses strive and he told me he has been in business 40 years I was like wow!!!
He showed me a bunch of new bikes that he was excited about and I was amazed at how complex some bikes can be and some of the me technology bikes currently have as options. Lol

Friendly, helpful, and comfortable atmosphere. Up to one year in house service with a purchase of bike. I feel comfortable going back with any questions. ⁵⁄₅ would do again.

Walked in not really knowing that much and Mel hooked us up. What I loved the most was all the reasonable prices! He even did not try to talk us into the most expensive stuff. There were computers for speed and distance that go up to 300. Mel showed us one for 50 that was everything I wanted.
If you go to Walmart or target or even modells and see the limited selection and no customer service or help. You cannot modify at those places at all. This place blows all other places we looked at first. If we would have went here first, I would have saved 2 weekends.
All in I walked out with a customized bike for under 475. New seat, cpu, and adjustable water bottle holder. I also got a little knapsack for under the seat.
We bought a bike rack which mel showed us how to install which is another added bonus.
When I upgrade to higher end I am glad I know where to go!

I bought a new Schwinn bike from The Original Bike Shop (as they are listed as a dealer on the Schwinn website) last week and picked it up yesterday after a couple modifications. Mel & Kevin are very personable & funny & make you feel like a valued customer. It made for a great buying experience. Before you leave the store with your new wheels, they put you and the bike on the trainer and ask if everything feels comfortable and teach you about using the gears. I’d recommend this bike shop to anyone in the market for a new bike.
Note — They sell used bikes from $ 85 on up to professional road racing bikes costing several thousand dollars. And they even have electric bikes and the bike kits, should you decide you want to go that route.

I bought my first bike here – we’re talking 23 years ago. And I’ve probably purchased about 4 bikes since then. The staff is so knowledgeable and really they have the best selection of bicycles around. If anything ever happens to your bike, just bring it in! They are miracle workers and can do just about anything. I love this place. Always have, always will.

Great little place with very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. I needed a robust and not too expensive bike and they had just the right models. I felt that I received a great consultation and was very happy with my purchase.
