History

Established in 2001.

The genesis of the throw blanket industry is in textiles. Specifically knitting.

We began as a contract knitting mill in Queens NY in the 1970’s.

By 2000, that business kept moving off shore and we found a niche with an item we had invented in the early 1990’s, the photo throw blanket.

We brought this to market in 1999 and by 2000, were producing throw blankets as our main business.

My career has been in the knitting business. It just seemed that even as a kid, looking for those summer jobs, this is what always seemed to make itself available to me.

Graduated college with a B.A. in Economics as well as in History and have been able to use my education for this business
