Waited over thirty minutes for roll with turkey lettuce n tomato, bread was stale n wait was unnecessary there was only one person before me. Only reason I waited was because was taking daughter to park n needed to get her lunch near the park. Never again. Don’t do it, don’t go there.

Been going here for years. Bagels are pretty good. I usually order everything bagels and occasionally get one that mostly tastes plain. Would prefer is they made whole wheat everythings also. Deli sandwiches are great! Very flavorful and packed with meats, definitely a good portion size. Prices are fair. Very friendly owners, love talking to them. Now the down sides, breakfast sandwiches could be a little bigger in size however. It tastes like there is more egg than anything else. Not many drink options to choose from either. All in all good place for breakfast or lunch. Been going for years and will continue too!

This place is great! The service is very friendly and warm on a cold winter day. I got a delicious pumpernickel bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese, yum! Hot & crispy! I got a chocolate milk too. My friend got a turkey blt that she is also very happy with. If I ever come back to saddlebrook I will pop in for a baked goodie or omelette.

Wow! When you walk into a bagel shop you would expect the place to have bagels especially during breakfast or lunch time. This place has a few bagels who knows how long they have been in the shelves for. I decided to go in one time for lunch and order a Chicken Gyro. Of course they did not have chicken. If you knew you didn’t have chicken wouldn’t you at least go to a supermarket and get some. So instead I asked for a Italian hero and asked for some hot peppers. Shocker! they didn’t have hot peppers but asked if I would like hot sauce. Who the hell puts hot sauce on a Italian hero. I cannot figure out how this place stays in business. Obviously they don’t make any dough. Its hard to call this place tasty when they barely have enough food to taste.

Fresh — BIG — fluffy bagels! I’m not sure what everyone else is complaining about. this place makes a delicious scallion cream cheese that is my hands down favorite. I love getting it on a whole wheat everything bagel. Egg and cheese is also a winner. The owners are friendly people, and funny. They make lunch wraps and sandwiches and seem to offer different treats /desserts that are homemade. They are very accommodating and will even serve you on a plate if you decide to eat there. It’s a cozy little environment — I wouldn’t get my bagels from anywhere else! oh yea and they accept credit card! I work in new york and have experienced a lot of bagel stores. most of the employees don’t speak english, sell you a hard, small, tasteless bagel with so much cream cheese that you can’t even eat the whole thing. I appreciate the quality of service here and the fact that they clearly put a lot into what they are offering customers.

Over the past few years this place has just continuously gotten worse. I used to come here as my main bagel shop, but have moved bagel shops for the past few years. From time to time i do go ahead and try the bagels here in hopes to see if they have stepped their game up. Ive come to realize that the lack of costumers to the shop has created a lack of effort from the owners. I feel as though its hit or miss whether or not you are going to get a fresh bagel and a stale bagel. Being from New Jersey my whole life i feel as though im a bagel connoisseur and will not stand for a stale bagel. I feel that this place wont be around for very much longer due to the other bagel shops in town. Which is upsetting because the couple that run this place are very nice.

We’ve ordered here before and know what to expect. It’s your basic bagel shop. While others may want it to be more lit up and bright, others will say they didn’t like the music playing in the background(slow love songs that day). Whatever! If you make good food, and you treat your customers right, there should be no problems… On to the review shall we? Now I’ll make this simple… I don’t like ketchup, and that’s my business. So the other day, after placing my order for 3 people(we happened to all order the same thing), I took it home and was a little disappointed. You see, we all ordered sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel with salt, pepper, and ketchup. I was the only one to order it WITHOUT the ketchup. Now this is going to sound so stupid, but at the same time it makes a lot of sense. If let’s say, I was DEADLY allergic to Ketchup, and I got just a little bit of ketchup in my food, who’s fault is it? Now… Since the 2 other people had ketchup in their bagel, if you lets say… used the same knife to cut their food and then without thinking, cut my food with it… what do you think is going to be on my sandwich? I hate ketchup! I can’t stand it! So am I wrong to say that they don’t clean their knives after each order, and that maybe the next order(yours), you could get a dressing or condiment from someone else’s sandwich or bagel that you don’t like?(e.g. mayo, mustard, 1000 islands dressing) How dumb this review really might sound to some people, others will actually appreciate it. I really like to eat out, and I really look at the small things. While yes it’s always important to look at the big picture, it’s sometimes the small things that really give you a bigger picture. It’s like going to a deli and having the person using the slicer not wear gloves while handling your food.

This place makes me sad. Tasty Bagels is located on a cute corner in a nice building with ample parking, in a mostly residential area but quite close to huge office buildings and the shopping mecca that is Paramus. It’s also close to where I live, so I had high hopes. The couple that runs/owns the place seems very sweet and attentive. However, I went there on a Saturday morning at around 10:30 and was initially the only patron, although 3 other people came in during the time I was there. The space is somewhat dark and dingy — not unclean, but not screaming«eat here» either. The beverage case was sparse. There were exactly three muffins — one chocolate and two cranberry. The meat case was truly pathetic, with some tiny portions of turkey and a couple others and about 5 spreads that appeared to have been there for a while. Coffee selections were decaf or regular — no flavors. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a garlic bagel(breakfast sandwiches can be an awesome test of a bagel place). They were out of garlic bagels(already?!). I changed to a plain bagel. It was not great. The bagel itself was cooked properly and had a lovely golden crust, but it was tasteless. The egg was cooked to death(seriously, very dry), and the bacon selection was flatly wrong. Bacon on an egg sandwich should be thinly sliced and flavorful. This bacon was thick and lacking any of that sinful bacon flavor. Overall, it was not a horrible sandwich but it was disappointing. I won’t be back.
