I have enjoyed teaching for 30 years and cannot imagine myself doing anything else. I have worked with a variety of students, ages, and subjects, though my passion is teaching Math to any age student. I am gifted at figuring out how a student learns and then tailoring their educational experience to enable the student to not only understand the math, but to feel more confident in their skills. Depending on the student, I may use alternative methods, hands-​on materials, or whatever creative solutions it takes to help a student achieve his/​her goals.

My ten+ years teaching in the public school system has given me an insider’s edge to what classroom students need. I homeschooled my three children from third grade through graduation. I have also offered math workshops and tutoring to homeschool families.
