History

Established in 1982.

Owner Dale Stroebel opened the shop in 1982 with the goal of running a straightforward, trustworthy shop for the Saginaw community.

As part of our mission, we take great strides to ensure you to feel comfortable at Stroebel Automotive. Our philosophy lies in educating, not selling, which is why we thoroughly explain any issue your vehicle is having so you understand it as well as we do.

Whether your vehicle needs a simple oil change or a much larger repair, our ASE-​Certified technician takes the time to get to know your vehicle inside and out to make the most thorough repairs possible.

We’ll never push you into a repair you’re not comfortable with. We prioritize repairs by what’s most important, but it’s your vehicle, your budget, and your decision to make.

Business Owner

The «mechanic bug» has always been with Dale Stroebel, the owner of Stroebel Automotive. Born and raised 3 miles from his shop, Dale first started repairing bicycles as a child before transitioning to motorcycles and eventually cars. When he graduated from the Lincoln Technical Institute in Indianapolis in 1980, Dale worked for a few different shops before opening his own in November of 1982. When it comes to operating his shop, Dale most loves the relationships he builds with his customers by solving their vehicle’s issues. In his spare time, he enjoys off-​roading in his Jeep and riding Harleys with his wife.
