Yellow Checker Cab

Four of us were out at Patty’s in Saginaw Twp last night. Decided to get a cab. Called Yellow Checker Cab and spoke to a woman that would only identify herself as the midnight dispatcher. She said they could have a cab there in an hour and told us to be outside at 1:45am. Fast forward to 1:50am and no cab. I call to ask for an update and the same woman nonchalantly tells me that the cab was rerouted to Midland and wouldn’t be picking us up in the near future. The bar was now closing and we were forced to call my wife’s father at 2am to ask for a ride. Not happy with the service and will NEVER call them again.

We were in Saginaw for the Bob Seger concert and booked a 7 pm ride to the Dow Event Center. No cab at 5 after 7, so I called. The dispatcher said they were doing their best and should only be 10 minutes more. He also said he would call me when the cab is getting close. At 7:20 still no cab so we hopped in our car and drove ourselves. I never got that call from the dispatcher so I assume the cab never came to pick us up at all. Never Again! BAD BUSINESS-​It won’t let me choose NO STARS, but that’s what I give them!

Speedy and wasted no time. I was able to get a number directly from the driver so I can be returned to my original destination. So when I was done with my business I called for a ride back. The wife answered not sounding happy, she was rude and asked questions. So the taxi shows up to take me back and he has the wifey riding with him. She had her seat reclined pretty far back and my long legs had to squeeze in. The ride back was awkward to say the least. Men don’t bring your insecure wifey to the job. She tried to change her attitude but no need trying to mess your man’s job, he’s trying to be the provider to you and your babies. Not interested, just trying to get from point A to point B and back to point A. 5 stars without the drama.
