I would not recommend this ford service department to anyone. If you enjoy being under quoted and over charged for something as simple as an oil change, and like waiting 2 to 3 hours for an oil change WITH an appointment, this is your place! But in all seriousness, here is my long, detailed story. I called here and made 2 separate appointments on 2 separate days — one for my ford explorer and one for my husband’s ford diesel truck. I asked the price for each oil change and was told $ 40 for the explorer and $ 120 for the truck. This was the first oil change for my explorer so that seemed reasonable, the diesel truck on the other hand was way more than we have ever paid and we always use ford dealership service departments all over AZ (we travel often for my husband’s job). We have never paid over $ 100 at other dealers. But it needed to be done, so I still made the appointment. The first appointment was for my explorer, it took just under 2 HOURS for a simple oil change, this was terrible considering I had an appointment, I showed up prior to my appointment, and I had 2 children under 2 in tow. When I go to pay, they charge me $ 15 over what they quoted me for «extra oil.» This didn’t make sense so I asked and found out they quoted me for a small car when I made my appointment despite knowing what car I was bringing (they ask during the call). This should have been my red flag, but i came back the following day for my appointment for the truck. When I got there they asked if I needed the truck tires rotated, i explained that I did not. This appointment took 3 HOURS for an oil change with a prior scheduled appointment! By the 3 hour mark my kids were over it, and getting restless. I look and see my truck sitting there finished, and the employees sitting there talking. I walk up and ask if it’s ready and of course it is. I go to pay and they try to charge me $ 200 for the oil change. I ask why when they quoted me on the phone for $ 120. They said for tire rotation (which I said I didn’t need) and a ‘special’ oil filter which I did not ask for nor was given the option for. I explained this to them, they ask, and find out they didn’t rotate my tires but still tried to charge me. They ended up taking off the rotation but still left me paying $ 160… $ 40 more than the original quote. All in all, this was the worst and most expensive ford service department I have ever been to. This says a lot since I travel heavily, and have been to many ford service departments. This ford service dept gives ford a bad name. Please do not go here. Appointments clearly do not matter as simple services take way too long, they over charge for things, and try to pad your bill. You have been warned!

Dear my readers, and others wanting a great deal,
Today I spent my day off at Jim Click Ford Hyundai in Green Valley. Is it Sahuarita? Is it Sworrreeta? Anyways, I had a great experience! First I tracked down my salesman Tom. Then I told him about all of my negative equity and drug him out in 103 heat to test drive and change my mind fifteen times. It was really three. I couldn’t decide between a Hyundai Sonata or my Ford Focus. I chose the focus based on incentives. Got an interest rate that was better than what I could have hoped for, and the experience was phenomenal. A few things:
Tom, our salesman, fed us lunch and dinner. It was diet break day. I ate fast food. It was carb heaven. Also, it was leg day and I squatted 145 today. I’m fine. No sales person has ever made sure we weren’t starving before. There’s another specific dealership that needs to take note from this.
We were never empty on water.
All of my annoying questions were answered without any signs of annoyance.
The finance and sales managers both rocked. Yes, I bought the extended warranty and alarm system. I’m by the border. My car is super cute. I would totally steal it if I was into stealing cars. Which I’m not.
Tom took his entire day to help us. I’m in sales. I can tell you that from experience, he’s a pro. From start to finish we were accommodated. I will be looking for that survey. You deserve a great score!
All of the rest of the staff works their butt off to provide a helluva experience. I wasn’t looking to buy today. I bought. I traded a truck for a compact car. That was a tough move, but I needed the fuel economy.

I don’t know what that Randy E. guy is talking about but the whole service department at this Jim Click is spectacular. especially FRANKIE. This guys works like he is 3 people in one. He is always checking on everyone he is helping with and is honest and trustworthy. I ask for him every time I go in. If you want a good time while you wait on the service for your vehicle, go with Frankie. He has some crazy stories for a young guy (ask him about when he was in tenth grade). In all seriousness, he represents the company well and deserves a lot more recognition from the company, and Jim Click.

The service department is horrible and seems to enjoy taking advantage of the elderly patrons of Green Valley, in one instance they forgot to tighten the lug nuts on my fathers car… who the hell works on the vehicles over there Hellen Keller… its never ending and my parents have been loyal customers for years… they like an abused housewife must be glutton for punishment and keep coming back for more… get your crap straight or it will be more than Unilocal hearing about your shady ways…

Just keep on coming here if you like getting taken advantage of. Wanted to charge me $ 130 just to look at tires. Found it in there heart to only charge me $ 60 and they couldn’t even do the service I was wanting. My posterior feels a little sore, off to the proctologist to spend more money. Thanks Jimmy click!

Yep, old school car guys. three turns and the desk mgr. told me to wait five minutes because he was on the phone. a live one in front of him and he told me to wait? REALLY???

Had a problem with wife’s Mustang and for $ 70, it was towed here.
Hours later the called to say there was nothing wrong. We paid a hefty diagnostic fee and left.
Funny thing, her battery was swapped to a much OLDER one. They denied the switcheroo. We had another mechanic from a reputable shop confirm it as he had tested the car’s battery just the day before. Just sayin’
By the way, the Jim Click dealership (Mazda this time) did the same thing to my car. Buyer beware!

We purchased our new Ford C-​Max from the dealer in Green Valley in late 2012. The buying experience was not great but it is what I have come to expect from purchasing a new vehicle. The salesman was pushy and we were rushed through the process but all in all, I would say it was a very average car buying experience.
However, the service we have experienced at the dealership since purchasing the vehicle has been unacceptable. In total, we have taken the car there four times now for routine maintenance and every appointment has been painful. They constantly take longer than they estimate, they never call when your vehicle is complete, and the serviceman are often very short and unhelpful. I am, I believe, a very patient person but this complete lack of customer service is too much.
My wife and I, from now on, will be spending the extra twenty minutes it takes to drive to a Tucson dealership rather than dealing with the frustrating level of service we have experienced at Jim Click Green Valley.

I recently had 60,000 mile service ($ 364.00) done to my 2007 Hyundai Entourage Minivan that I bought from this dealer for cash on October 28, 2006. Because of something the mechanic did to my vehicle I now have a red light on always about my «air bags». When I went back to the dealer’s service department they informed me that I would have to pay an additional amount of ($ 100.00) to put the car on the diagnostic machine even though they caused the problem, not a very nice way o treat a customer. I have tried to talk to people including Jim Click directly but no one will return my calls or answer my emails. I am really upset on how this problem was handled and will probably not buy any additional calls from this dealer even though I was getting ready to buy a 2011 Hyundai Genesis Sedan. This is their loss and I don’t think they really care but I can assure you that if I ever have the opportunity to talk to others about this problem I will most certainly do it and everyone knows that word of mouth is the worst way for any business that gets talked about (unsatisfactory service)
