The set up is easy and food is to the point. I liked it. If there’s to much sauce then You put to much on… Perfect.

Fast food BBQ. The stand out was the ribs. The dry rub and smoking is perfect. Really nice rib. The turkey was ok, not remarkable. The fried okra was nice, the potato salad was not bad. The garlic toast is really good. Selection of 6 sauces… KC, Chicago, Spicy, Hot, Original, and a sweet selection. The original is best, followed by spicy. I am usually a fan of hot BBQ sauce, but this one was vinegary. The KC sauce was like ketchup. Service was average, but the servers were really nice.

Thought I would try Bandana’s again to see if it was any good. The meat quality was terrible – very fatty & tough. The corn was the best thing on the menu, which is sad. Go to Sugarfire BBQ for decent STLBBQ.

Excellent Ribs! Great place and lots of sauces to pick from. But the Ribs – fall off the bone smoked with a nice rub. They were perfect!

Great service, without being all in your face and annoying. Great food. No fatty cuts of meat ever at this place. Great sides. Fried okra is my favorite.

Pretty good BBQ! I had the three meat platter with cole slaw. The pulled pork is perfect; the smoked sausage is excellent, too. The beef was disappointing, though. It’s a shoulder cut, rather than brisket. That caused me to knock a star off of the rating. Excellent sauces and good slaw. I will definitely be back to substitute ribs for the beef. All in all, pretty darned good… but that beef is disappointing. Just saying. Definitely worth another shot!

Was down here on business a few weeks back and just had to say what terrific barbecue it is! Had the pork sandwich and an assortment of other things and enjoyed every bite immensely! Very much recommend going here.

As the claim to fame. You can find better BBQ at someone’s backyard. For plain it OK.

Got the 1⁄3 rack w two sides to go. Didn’t have to wait long at all and even though I got sauce, I didn’t need it. Great meal. No complaints. Cool post saying 25 ways to use a bandana. Read them while I waited. Great location if you’re by the airport.

Was in St. Louis for the night and decided to try some Kansas City style BBQ. Overall, I didn’t think it was anything special. Growing up in Texas, I’ve been lucky enough to try some of the best BBQ joints in the country like the Salt Lick in Driftwood, TX. I thought the atmosphere was pretty laid back and good for coming with a group of friends. There’s tvs around the place so you can catch a game along with some BBQ. I had the combo plate with beef and shredded pork with cole slaw and fried okra as sides, oh and a single rib. They also include two pieces of toasted garlic bread. All the meats are served naked(no sauce), but they have 5 different BBQ sauces on the table. In my opinion, I rank the sauces in this order from best to worst: 1. Original 2. Sweet and Smoky 3. Chicago Sweet 4. Kansas City 5. Spicy. Usually, I love a spicy BBQ sauce but this one wasn’t very good. The spices were a bit off. Overall, I’d come here again, but it wouldn’t be a place I’d rave about to others.

Great place to stop and eat barbecue near the St. Louis airport. The dry rub on the ribs was delicious. The sides were very tasty, and the service was spot on! I will definitely come back when I’m in this area.

We were staying next door and gave Bandana’s a try because they were close. But we were definitely glad we took a chance. I got a sampler that included chicken, ribs and sausage. All 3 were excellent and good sized portions. My son is extremely picky and he loved his chicken. I wasn’t blown away by the sides but the meat would make me return in a heartbeat. VERY friendly service too.

Very good ribs before a flight out! Prompt and friendly service. Frank greeted, seated and assured me of their speedy service. He took my order too… so that I didn’t have to wait for my server. Thanks, Frank, for getting me fed and on my flight with time to spare! I’ll be back!

ordered to go online; quick and as described; very helpful help checking me out; the ribs were delicious, but the sides and the bread was marginal… the only thing keeping me from giving it five stars. The sides I had was the corn and the applesauce… zest them up a little and they would be perfect

I’m happy to say that my visits to this Bandanna’s since my first have been much, much better. Food was much better. Service was fantastic. Ahhh, this is the Bandanna’s I remember.

Not bad for a local BBQ joint. Good service, fast. Been doing here every other day for two weeks while I stayed in a nearby hotel for business.

I wasn’t quite sure what to make of this place when it was recommended to me. Sometimes places like this, buried between two hotels in an otherwise nondescript area, can be more hype than quality. Not so here. It was relatively quiet when we came in, but the service didn’t suffer. Our server gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu and ask questions. The ribs were the most touted choice, but I opted for the chicken. I wasn’t disappointed. On the table were about six different kinds of sauce labeled so as to figure out which was a favorite. The side items are traditional and overall, ordinary. The donut holes are a unique dessert item at a place like this, but it worked. The bbq platters came in a regular and a lunch portion, and it’s easy to add another choice of meat to either if you don’t want the commitment for a full portion. The sauces were not necessary as the meat stood on its own for flavor. I’d try this place again when I’m in the area. Because it’s close to the airport, it would be a good stop on the way to or from when I’m running short on time. It’s still better than most airport food.

We arrived at the Hampton Inn across the parking lot from Bandana’s 10 minutes before this place closed. Check in was done super quick so we could run over and order. We’re used to Chicago — you walk in 5 minutes before a place closes and they tell you BYEBYE. Well NOTHERE. They graciously allowed us to peruse the menu, I explained that this was a TOGO order since they were closing, and they said NOWORRIES. They went over all the items we asked about, allowed me to have a much needed beer after the long drive and while they were preparing our meals AND took the time to wrap things separately for our different hotel rooms. Service — FANTASTIC. FOOD — above FANTASTIC. I ordered the BBQ Chicken(or turkey, I can’t remember) sandwich and there were actually chunks of meat — LARGE chunks of meat. HUGE chunks. It was like I was home! The dressings were great and everyone had a great meal. Thanks again ya’ll. YOUWEREGREAT!
