I have only been once, but the pizza was great and so was the service.

The wife ordered sausage, bacon & pepperoni pizza. It was excellent. I tried the Gin Gin special consisting of roasy beef, ham and salami and cheeses. I had it hot. Mmmm Most definitely a repeat order. The Arrancini was okay. I guess it’s a particular taste item.

This is the fourth time I have visited –Frankie’s — each time has been the same experience– it definitely has an Italian atmosphere — this time I went I showed up at 8pm– although they closed at 845 the service was still good– we had a salad with the house dressing– GETTHEHOUSEDRESSING– it is a must– I bought a bottle with taxes the bottle is $ 8.12– a little over priced but worth every penny– there’s only a couple places on Main Street worthy_one of the tops for sure

This place is NOT kid friendly, despite the fact it’s a pizza place that is basically as casual of décor as you can get. We wanted to be respectful of the more upscale restaurants in the area with four young kids in tow, so we picked this pizza place today for lunch. It even has a sign to leave your stroller outside. We sat down and ordered quickly but it took almost 40 minutes to get out our food. 3 adults, 3 kids(one toddler that shared my plate). The kids were extremely antsy and no one ever checked on us for refills or to let us know when our order would be out. We got terrible looks from some older patrons, and when they brought out the order, it was wrong but we just dealt with it. They said to fix it would be more time. My 3 yr old sons hamburger was completely pink in the inside(too rare for us to feel comfortable eating it) and when we told the manager to please comp it bc he didn’t touch it, she snapped at my husband that medium is pink on the inside. My husband had had it with this place and told her she can look at it herself. I think his tone got the point across, bc she comped it! We grabbed boxes and finished our meal at our home down the street-just to get out of this place! If you have young kids-skip this, go to Tony’s on Main-we had a much better experience there and felt welcomed!

We went there for a family dinner today and had the WORST service EVER. The waitress was the sweetest person but the manager was horrible. We had a party of 17 and our kids were on a table separate from us. They told my kids that if more people were to come in that they would have to leave. They were treated like dogs. This was the second time they were rude to our family. We came here once before and thought maybe it was just a bad day. But the manager just keep starring down the family. If you don’t like your job. Why do you have a business. Some of the employees there don’t even look like they like their jobs. Maybe you all need to take customer service classes. People should think twice about going here. They will surely make your day extremely shitty!!!

I walked into the door and was immediately greeted by the nicest waitress ever! We go to sit down and we order and my French fries come extremely quickly! I ordered some bacon pizza as my entrée and it was to die for. I will definitely be returning soon win many friends. My dad and I were wowed by how fast the food came out! I hope you go check out this cute family owned pizza shop!

Toasted ravioli is really good. Filling is the best I have had. Veal Marsala was very good also. Pizza was way better than you can get anywhere around St. Louis. I am still partial to Francesco’s Pizza(Church Street in St. Peters). Frankie Tocco’s pizza may have tied them. Appetizers were a little pricey. All in all really good food and service. Will be back for more.

Always an amazing experience here! It’s cozy and wonderful. The staff is always attentive and polite. Oh, and I haven’t found a better pizza yet! I highly recommend.

We got a margherita pizza and cinnamon dough sticks for carry out. Strictly based on the food since we didn’t dine in: it was delicious. I will say we got cinnamon sticks to-go again and it was about half the proportion that we were given last time, so I’m not sure what’s up with that. Good food though!

Really loved this place from what I can remember! I went a long time ago… And I can’t remember exactly I all tried but what stood out to me when I think back on this place is that they really had good toasted ravioli, which one of my all time favorite dishes because I’m a St. Louisian of course… And I loved their salad. I’m pretty positive I got one with salami, pepperoni, and Provel cheese. Ahhh… The best kind of cheese. And I remember the sweet Italian dressing being amazing… I shall go back soon and update this review!

The food is great, but the best part is that the family /owners are always sitting in the same back corner booth. They are very nice and friendly. Family pictures on the wall. Feels and taste like your Italian friends invited you over to their house for a big family dinner.

I had lunch here with my dad and it was okay. I had the Cod Sandwich and the fish was really good, but the sandwich had nothing on it… just bread and fish. It would have be much better with some vegetables and dressing of some sort on it. They did give me packets of Heinz Tarter Sauce which was not anything I would choose to use on a sandwich, especially from a restaurant… its better suited for frozen fish sticks when I’m in a rush. Fries were frozen crinkle cut fries… nothing special. My dad had their toasted ravioli and he said his was really good. Overall the restaurant was an average Italian restaurant without much pizazz.

Came here to eat when I was in town over Labor Day — Excellent STL style pizza — had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. Friendly staff, good friends — overall a great experience!

Food was good and our service was just fine. We went there to try their pizza, and I was satisfied with our decision. However, why the heck is the owner of the restaurant just sitting in a booth and staring at everyone eating??? Some of the servers would go over their and sit for awhile with her and her grumpy look on her face. I understand the Italian run business mentality, but please this is 2013… get out of a booth that could be used to seat customers and stop giving everyone the creeps. I will be back, because I am a sucker for good pie… but I wont dine in, I will be ordering to go.

This is the 2nd time I’ve eaten here at Frankie Toccos & I’ve been disappointed both times. The Sunday hostess lady is very grumpy and not very accommodating; she may be a nice person outside of work, but not once did I see her smile at any of the patrons. She made our group feel as if our business was an inconvenience to her. Additionally, the appetizers took a long time to come out & some of my food wasn’t warm. Needless to say, I won’t be back. The saving grace of this place is that there pizza is actually pretty good & they have a server named Hannah who was very sweet & pleasant.

I realize my entire opinion from this place is probably slighted, based on my first five minutes there: the loudness, noticing how many tables were looking around for the waitress to take their darn check, the cheesy décor, the cramped tables, the old sub-par wobbly chair I had. But you can’t go back on a first impression. We ended up at Frankie’s because every other restaurant on Main Street in St. Charles had extremely long waits. Let me tell you, there is a reason Franklie’s had no wait and could seat our party of 8 right away. We were(unfortunately) shoved in the basement of the restaurant. The set up was claustrophobic, loud, run down, and cheesy; think obligatory portraits of the Rat Pack and movie stills from The Godfather. Our waitress had sections to attend to upstairs, as well as us downstairs, so she was hardly ever around. On top of that, she forgot many things, could not answer questions about the menu intelligently, and took over 10 minutes to get our initial drinks. Ergo, the service left much to be desired. The menu itself is also a slight disappointment. Unless I’m dumb, I could not find spaghetti on the menu. What Italian joint doesn’t serve spaghetti? Not much of a drink selection either(my mother-in-law wanted a Bud Light Lime and was served a Bud Light with a lime on top of the bottle… really?) I ordered a pizza because it claims to be a pizzeria, after all. It was not that good; I honestly can’t figure out what other reviewers are raving about. There wasn’t anything special about it. I can’t even tell you if the sauce was good, I barely tasted it, the crust was so-so, cheese was too sweet. I sat there thinking ‘My frozen Tombstone pizzas have more flavor than this.’ I have no desire to go back.

Best Thin Crust Pizza! This place is a little worn but totally delivers on great tasting thin crust pizza. Crispy crust, just the right amount of cheese, not oily. Great service too.

I have lunch at Frankie Tocco’s on a pretty regular basis. I love the pizza! It’s thin crust but not too thin. I usually order pepperoni and mushroom. I’ve had other toppings and they are all good. I’m a creature of habit so I stick with what I like best. For lunch you can order a personal sized pizza with one topping and a side salad or cheese garlic bread for around $ 7 or $ 8. It is plenty of food and not a bad price. I’ve also had the pasta con broccoli and it is different than others I’ve had. There was not too much sauce and it wasn’t too rich. I could use a little more broccoli and maybe some mushrooms, but overall it is good. The appetizers are a nice start to the meal. I’ve tried the cheese garlic bread, toasted ravioli and artichoke hearts and all are yummy. I enjoy the house salad and order it with the house dressing. The special salad ti good as well and would be more than enough for a meal. For dessert try the dough bites. They are dough pieces fried and then topped with butter, cinnamon and sugar served with icing. Oh man, I could eat the whole plate alone. Frankie’s has a nice beer selection and it is cold! I usually get an iced tea because I eat here for lunch, but if I’m here for dinner I get an ice cold beer. In my experience the service is always good. If you come for lunch make sure you arrive before noon and order quick to beat the rush. Lot’s of business people eat here for lunch. This is a family owned and operated restaurant so it has that kinda of feel when you are there. The décor is old pictures on the walls from god knows when. They could use some new cushions in the booths and the table clothes are pretty warn. It gives it that homey feel.
