Established in 1968.

Hello, my name is Chad Johnson

My company was started in 1968 By Winfield and Melinda Gustafson. They operated the company for almost three decades as a husband and wife team until Gus’s death in 1997. I was hired in 1995 to replace a technician that was leaving the company. After the untimely death of Mr. Gustafson I stayed on to run the company for Melinda until 2002 when I purchased the company from her. It is with great responsibility and honor to carry on their great name and continue to operate G&L Septic with the same dedication to customer service.

I graduated from St. Charles High School in 1990 and entered The United States Navy in 1991. After my enlistment was up I returned to my roots and drove semi truck for a drinking water company in Maryland. I moved back to Illinois to be closer to family and then started my career at G & L Septic Inc.
