A little grungy but it gets the job done and it’s close by my home(~3 min drive.) I came here the other night for an acrylic fill. There were two different people working on my nails. First a guy, then a lady. The whole process took about an hour or so. They have a big flat screen TV on in front of the chairs so you can watch TV while getting your manicure or pedicure.(Unfortunately it happened to be some reality show about Kim Khardasian… between an hour of that and the smell of the chemicals, I think I may have lost some brain cells, LOL.) The acrylic fill was $ 13. I think it’s $ 18 for a full set(as in, if you don’t already have acrylics and you want them.) I am not sure if their prices are considered cheap or not because I don’t really get my nails done all that often and when I do, I always forget what I paid. But I am pretty sure I’ve paid both less and more for a fill in the past. Kind of just depends on the place. Gotta love the fake flowers and 80’s-esque nail posters – pretty much standard at a lot of nail places. I had a little bit of trouble communicating with the people working there but they eventually figured out what I wanted… kind of helped that they could see the remains of my previous manicure already on my hands so it was easy to point out what color I wanted and what shape. The guy was pretty hilarious because he had one(long) purple fake nail on his pink finger and was trying to use it to sell me on a color-changing gel manicure, haha. Too funny. I only noticed two small blemishes afterwards – one tiny piece of fuzz on my nail and one slight smudge. No biggie though. I’d probably come here again just because it’s so close to me.
