Love this place! I always come here when in the area. The santa fe is a must! If they have the spicy veggie soup I would definitely suggest trying it.

Great food, staff, and meal plans. Can’t beat this healthy option. I’d recommend to anyone who gets home from work and is to tired to cook a healthy meal and ends up eating junk or fast food.

I’ve been here several times, and the owner has always been very friendly and helpful. The food has been good, too. HOWEVER, two times we’ve tried to eat here, and they were closed. The hours on their website said they were open. This last time I placed an order online for pick-up but, again, when we got there, the store was closed. They have different times posted on their door than they do on their website. I’m really glad I didn’t pay for the food ahead of time like I was planning to do. I understand if they don’t have enough business in the evenings to stay open, but they really need to update their website. From what I’ve seen on other reviews here, it sounds like we’re not the only ones who have experienced this.

In my increasing effort to find restaurants that offer healthy fare in West Chicago, I discovered this little gem after a session at the gym. Please do your research… the St. Charles location is OPEN and it has not closed. I have been to this restaurant a number of times since April and I really appreciate the effort put into displaying the calories for each item on the menu. On numerous occasions I have encountered Jeff; I am going to assume that he is the store manager, based on a couple of conversations that I have had with him. Jeff is always very pleasant, patient, and knowledgeable. I placed an order to go for the MMG signature wraps with chicken and for the sides, I opted for the spinach and baked sweet potato. I am giving this restaurant a 4 star review because, while everything was good, the potato was not cooked all the way through and we had to finish cooking it ourselves. I have encountered this problem a couple of times, but in terms of a fast food joint, outside of Chipotle, this is the healthiest you’re going to get. A little tidbit that I am excited about. they now offer a wrap filled with kale, quinoa, and chicken!

Good food and friendly staff, I’ve never had an issue here. Food is a bit pricey but well worth the buy. They also do meal preps and they deliver which is really nice. Overall, it’s a good place to eat!

The staff were so nice and attentive. The food was delicious and makes it easy to make good choices! We got the penne vodka sauce pasta with chicken and steamed broccoli. My 7 year old nephew got the chicken nuggets and said«mmm! This is the best chicken I’ve ever had!»…this from a picky eater! Definitely a great place to grab some food when you are trying to make good choices.

I ate here once and the food was decent(although it’s super easy to make their menu items at home). I had a coupon, so I decided to give it another try. I waited outside for them to open(Their sign had a different opening time than their website). After I’d waited with my two young children for 20 minutes, my daughters began knocking on their ALLGLASS door. An employee eventually heard us and opened the door ONTO my 2 year old daughter’s foot. He bent her big toe nail in half, and it was immediately bleeding. His response? «We don’t open until 11:30 today.» And then he proceeded to close the door! I asked«well, can’t we come in and clean the blood off?!» He let us in, and the manager/co-owner stood at the register looking perplexed. I asked for a band-aid and some antibiotic ointment(they gave me a band-aid), and headed to their bathroom to clean my kid’s toe, which was bloody and also had black gunk from the metal door in it. After I got her settled enough to go home(or to the doctor — I hadn’t yet decided), I made my way toward the door. The co-owner and employee said NOTHINGTOME. No apology. Nothing. So I sarcastically said«thanks for the band-aid!» The co-owner then went on and on about how it was *my* fault that the incident happened, because I was waiting. He didn’t apologize(although the kid that hurt my daughter’s toe did – and I forgive him). But that co-owner went on and on trying to make me feel like the bad guy in front of my daughters. I was so upset by his attempt at manipulation and his calloused response that I had to leave immediately. I went home and wrote an email to corporate, only to receive an email back from the very same co-owner, Jeff Cade, whose apology said sorry that my experience«left a negative taste in [my] mouth.» He then proceeded to defend his heartless, unsympathetic behavior. So. It was a non-apology(which is more disappointing than no apology). I didn’t want a coupon. I didn’t want a free meal. I just wanted a tiny bit of care and concern. That’s the appropriate response when a kid is hurt. Nobody deserves to be yelled at in front of their kids like he did to me. I’d been here once before. The food is decent, but certainly not worth eating here if it means supporting the business of that kind of guy.

Honesty is the best policy… right? I hope this place stays in business. I think the food is decent, I like the fact they have nutritional values on the menu selection. I think the customer services is pretty good as well — although I was a bit irritated when I placed a carry out order and they took time to staple the bag shut without including napkins(of all things — a lack of common sense). While waiting for my order, about 6 people walked in and I witnessed two alarming things. The guy behind the counter, who placed the orders and handled the cash, began helping with food preparation without washing his hands. Another customer came in to pick up an online order and mentioned that he placed an online order last week, but when he came to pick it up, the door was locked. Despite these things, the manager was in the process of training a new hire, he was courteous, customer service oriented, and friendly. Perhaps management needs a little more experience? Perhaps the staff needs additional training? I happen to like this place and hope business goes well for them.

Even though MMG was short staffed due to an employee calling off of work — -MMG worked hard and created a tasty meal for me. They apologized for the wait which I didn’t think was all that long. I highly recommend the«Texas» if you like spicy and are counting carbs! Great job MMG!

Wish I had something positive to say, but I really can’t. Chicken nugget appetizer was dry as a bone and must have been cooked hours earlier. Salad was low cal as it has a scant dollop of dressing. Wrap was the closest to being ok, but chicken was dried out. It’s a cool concept, but it was just not good.

Was recently at a convention at the high school all day and was thrilled to find healthy fast food that delivers! I got the chicken with broccoli, portable mushrooms, and roasted peppers. It was relish! Fast delivery. Thanks

I use to love coming to this place until yesterday. I walked in at 4:45 to get a post workout meal and a protein shake. I walk in and a see a gentlemen with eyeglasses on the phone taking a carry out order. I believe he is one of the owners. I also see a cook who I believe is the other owner(spiky hair, short). I glance at the menu for a couple of minutes. Always debating between the Santa fe or the rocky balboa. A few minutes passed by and the gentlmen is still on the phone placing an order and has not even acknowledged me that I’m waiting. Mind you there are not busy at all. I shake my head and walk out and go across the street to kabobs I’m just disappointed because each time I come in I spend $ 15.00+ and this is the service I get. Food is great no question but the service is piss poor. If service is like this, they will close down just like the rolling Meadows location.

Our company ordered lunch from here today & we were all pleased! Very healthy food & love that the menu had the calories. Everyone from the office ordered something different. Caesar salad, Mexicana w/steak(wanted it with shrimp but they were out of shrimp), Chicken breast sandwich w/pasta salad(wanted cucumber salad but they were also out of that), Rocky Balboa wrap w/cajun pasta, Chicken nuggets, Sante Fe wrap, Lean mean cheeseburger salad, & sugar free cheesecake(very very good). We all agreed(even our non-healthy eaters) we will definitely go back to try other menu items. It is so refreshing to find a healthy out to eat place around work :)

I wish there were three and a half stars for this one! We finally made it out here after a tough workout(when you love to eat as much as I do you gotta work off at least a little haha). Right when we walked in we were greeted by the very friendly owner(I think) or at least manager. When we said we hadn’t been in before he was quick to explain the menu, the high protein, high fiber, lower calorie items that make it up and he did a great job. For someone as indecisive as I am, the menu was overwhelming. Lots of different options, wraps, salads and entrees, all loosely focused on American(bbq), Asian(stir fry-teriyaki) and Italian. It took my 15 minutes to order which was fine because it wasn’t busy. I finally went with the Texas chicken nuggets, XXL Turkey Burger Wrap, and my boyfriend went with the MMG signature wrap. Caesar salad and cucumber salad as sides, sides included with the wrap. The food took a little bit longer than your typical«fast food» place because everything is made fresh so we didn’t mind, but if your in a hurry just be aware, you can also call ahead. The chicken nuggets were great, spicy, tender and only 254 calories, a great alternative to fried chicken wings. Our wraps were good. The turkey burger wrap tasted heavily like bbq but it is really the«secret sauce» and it was tasty. As for the MMG signature; chicken, fresh veggies and another secret sauce, it was light, fresh and good. The sides were okay. Typical caesar and the cucumbers were a bit soggy in the cucumber salad. I would have overall liked some healthy hot sauce options.(3 ½ star reasoning haha) Overall this is the place to go for a tasty, healthy, light lunch or dinner. We only ate half our wraps and were full, so we even had some for later. Definitely worth a try.

Amazing! Just what I needed to find when I’m on rotation for work. Healthy food with not a lot of crap and fillers added! I had the grilled chicken entrée for lunch with a sweet potato instead of a regular one, then I had to try the side of turkey meat balls. Everything was phenomenal. I could only eat half of the meal, the meat balls are baseball size and the order comes with two! I recommend this place to anyone, food for all types.

The service was remarkably friendly. Different items were recommended for us and the staff made us feel welcome. I started with the edamame. Got a nice sized portion, it was pretty good. Hard to mess up steaming edamame though, isn’t it? I had the Cajun chicken and penne. The whole wheat pasta was cooked al dente and I got a lot of juicy white meat chicken. Very good quality. It came with a sprinkling of tomatoes and green onions. My issue was there was way too much sauce. It had a good spice, but I could have used some bread to soak it up. I would at least add some extra veggies in like mushrooms and roasted peppers. I also sampled the Godfather and as several people have already said, it’s a good selection. The interior is pretty dark, mostly black and red. I think the same people who designed Sport Clips designed MMG as well and just used less light bulbs. I’ll return, though I think I would change my order up.

I love this place. Everything on the menu looks absolutely delicious. I had the signature wrap and my mouth was in heaven. My friend had the Texas and was very happy. I will definitely be back but will have a hard time deciding between the signature wrap and something new. I Love that calories are listed for everything, everything is healthy, the flavor combinations are awesome, the prices are right and the staff is very friendly.

It is SONICE to find a place that serves fresh, healthy food that is good for me, not processed, frozen junk that most restaurants serve. It was my first time here. They said their number one item on their menu was The Godfather, so I took their advice and ordered that. The Godfather, as I remember, is chicken breast with roasted red peppers, mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese with a balsamic vinaigrette. It’s served over broccoli. High five on the broccoli! The color was a rich, bright green. It had the perfect«snap» to it, which meant that it was cooked perfectly, not wilted, nor dried out; just perfect. The Godfather was good. I really liked it. And I felt good after eating because I know it was good for me. My body is smiling inside, and it was only about 500 calories, give or take. I don’t remember the exact number. That’s the other cool thing about this place is that you can actually see how many calories each menu item is. I will definitely return. I am thrilled to have finally found a restaurant where I can grab fresh, healthy food that tastes good. I wish there were more of these around!

Delicious good that is healthy and not overpriced and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Hopefully the size and parking lot won’t kill this wonderful restaurant.
