History

Established in 1986.

Second Street Dental, formerly known as L. Michael Dohan’s office, has provided the Fox Valley area with the best dental care anywhere since 1986. Patients are at ease in the modern, comfortable surroundings. They appreciate the caring manner, attention to detail, and personal touch that are in evidence at every appointment.

Dr. Molly Hayes, the newest addition to the Second Street family, joined the practice in 2013. The addition of Dr. Hayes brought on an added bonus-​we now are in-​network with most insurance companies! 2014 saw the retirement of our fondly loved Dr. L. Michael Dohan. Don’t worry though, you’re in great care with Dr. Hayes.

Business Owner

A native of the Midwest, I was born and raised in Nebraska’s capitol city of Lincoln. Prior to attending dental school, I attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in health science. Upon graduation, I stayed in Omaha to continue on at Creighton University School of Dentistry. Outside of dental school, I developed a passion for teaching and began tutoring junior high and high school students who desired extra help in math and science. In my final year of school, I was given the opportunity to do an externship in a public health clinic that serves Omaha’s underserved population.

I am a new resident of the Chicagoland area and could not be happier to call this wonderful city my home. I am honored to be part of the team at Second Street Dental and I’m so happy you have chosen to come see us. My wish for each of you is a healthy smile that you will be proud to share.
